Summary:

"Curry House" provides three stories full of historic charm that take you back in time. This guesthouse has private rooms to maximize comfort but allows for conversation with fellow guests in the common areas. Each guest of Curry House has access to a large shared pool as well as space to entertain outdoors. With sleeping space for up to 2 guests and a private bathroom, this rare find in Old Town Key West is perfect for your solo travel or couples getaway.



The Space:

This room is warm and inviting, with touches of historic charm and a convenient private bathroom.

Sleeping up to 2 guests this room has a king size bed for your comfort. The room includes a flatscreen TV with cable and wifi for connecting your own devices.



Guest Access:

Guest will receive 2 unique access codes upon check-in. One code will be used to access the front door of the home. The second, will be used to access the room.



The Neighborhood:

The quiet mornings on the front porch or balcony are the perfect way to start your day. Walk to attractions, restaurants, stores, and bars or make your way towards the Historic Seaport for a day on the water.

Perfectly situated between Downtown Key West & the Historic Seaport the Curry House places our guests within 3 blocks of Duval Street and 2 blocks from the waterfront. Steps from award-winning restaurants, coffee and sandwich shops, wine bars, craft cocktail bars, a local grocery store and all of your favorite Key West attractions.



Getting Around:

Park your car for the weekend and walk or bike your way around this completely accessible location. Or use the fenced in patio for parking your bike to get around town for the day. Unfortunately, no parking is included with your stay but Fleming Street is filled with free and pay-to-park spots. Key West is the best for all types of transportation including bikes, scooters, golf carts and more! Feel free to as us for recommendations!

Curry House Off Shore Powerboat Races Trip

The Curry house offered a quaint convenient location to all things Key West, Duval, the pier, restaurants, grocery stores, etc. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Perfect location for the cost

We didn’t want to spend a fortune to stay at some of the other places. This was affordable and a great place to stay. Although there was no one at the lobby area to talk to, it was very easy to get ahold of someone when needed. Everything was within walking distance. It was a perfect stay!

Great option in terrific neighborhood

Room 2. Balcony over pool. Room was clean with good AC and own bathroom. The room was a last minute booking for us and it worked out great.

Cozy place in a great location

The house and room are very cozy. All is very clean, of course carpets and details show wear, being an old house. The check in was very late and to me the instructions were not clear on how I would receive the code via text, which I didn’t see, so it took 3 calls and wait time to get the code, but after that, it was all good. I followed the instructions and found free street parking on Margaret st, 3 blocks away, left the car for the weekend there, it worked out great. I would stay here again!

I booked this as a b&b but there was no breakfast and there was no staff. The property was okay but kind of musty and the pool was quite small. The management was quick to respond but it’s just not the same as on-site. The price was good but we’ll stay somewhere else next time.

Good location

Stayed 3 nights in Room #2 on the second floor. The pros: location was close to places we wanted to go to and Uber rides helped out when going farther out. Good bathroom linens, clean room and nice balcony space overlooked the pool. Wifi was also good. The cons: noisy neighbors, pillow were hard as a rock and there was bare minimum amenities (k-cup coffee supplies was the only item for guests). The pool patio space was nice. I can see that the conch style building will be in need of some maintenance soon (peeling paint and cosmetic touches) but the building is nice and the bathrooms have been updated as well as a key-less entry system in place.

When we arrived There appeared to be smeared blood on the bathroom floor. There was also a dirty towel and some trash on back patio. We called the number listed and someone was over within an hour to clean. It was a neat b&B with lots of charm. It was close to Duvall. window ac unit was a little noisy, but bed was comfy and we enjoyed our stay.

La propiedad está ok, el cuarto ok, pero por la ducha prácticamente solo salía un fino hilo de agua y para que se calentara debían pasar 15 min. El aire acondicionado practicamente detras de las almohadas y cuando llegamos estana en 74 lo que hizo el cuarto oliera espantoso.....Nunca vimos a nadie solo la asistencia fue por mensajería, Había una pequeña nevera y ni una botella de agua de cortesía....En fin la estancia estuvo ok pero en esta propiedad no me quedo ni la recomiendo.....

Soooo, we've been coming to KW since the 80's and love the historic old KW feel. It is not a 5 star hotel, it is a historic home. It was clean, the pool was warm, there was no one on duty and actually we had the place to ourselves for the first 2 days which was wonderful. I miss the charm of breakfast cooked to order they used to have. Loved our balcony and pool area! The people who cleaned our room before we moved in were great !

Great house/location, short staffed

Pros: Excellent location in quiet old neighborhood, but short walk to Duval Street & the northern shore. Nice old Victorian house with good bones and secluded backyard in-ground pool that guests can use even before the official 4PM room check-in time. Cons: Although property manager answered emails quickly, there is no staff on site. When booking, numerous reviews led us to believe there would be some sort of breakfast set out in the 1st floor common area on weekday mornings, but we were informed the day after we arrived in answer to an email that no breakfast is ever provided. We were in Bedroom 2, which was large enough to suit our needs with a balcony and what looked like a large newly installed glass shower. But other guests voiced complaints during our stay of cramped showers and stuffy rooms. (with limited headroom on the 3rd floor) The photos on the property listing include intermingled images of different bedrooms that aren't clearly identified, so make certain you know which bedroom you're booking before you book it. Official check-in time isn't until 4PM, and don't expect an early check-in. Cleaning staff didn't arrive to clean our room until 3:40PM on the day we arrived.
