The house is located in the Windmark Beach community. It was a lovely house filled with natural light and spacious, clean rooms located on a quiet cul-de-sac. It was a short walk to the beach, and to the windmark shops. It was a pleasant surprise to find beach chairs, a canopy beach sun tarp, and a beach wagon to carry everything in. The hosts were incredibly responsive and actually came in person when we had a small issue with the thermostat.We would recommend this house for anyone who wants to enjoy the peace and tranquility of Port St. Joe and the forgotten coast of Florida.

Everything we could possibly need to cook was there. LOVED the drip coffee pot! LOVED the screened porches! Never found the 2nd pool, but we enjoyed the short walk to the beach and to the other pool. Will definitely stay there again! But I'll bring my own pillows.

The home was fabulous! We were so impressed with the area and amenities. We had five adults one infant and there was ample room to fit us all comfortably. Could not recommend a better house. We truly loved our experience and will definitely be back!

A wonderful getaway

This home is beautiful with all the necessary amenities! Short walk to the beach, with beach wagons, chairs, and umbrellas included (although a few of the beach items were broken). Easy check in and check out and no problems at all during our stay. We would definitely stay at this rental property again!

Long Wedding Weekend

House seemed new, it was well furnished and well stocked with kitchen essentials. The neighborhood was nice and quiet in late April. The beach was even closer than I imagined, and the water was calm and a perfect temperature. Dinner was always a short drive (10 to 15 minutes), and the places were crowded but the waits not too long. The area (Windmark Beach and surroundings) was destroyed by a hurricane in 2018, so most of the housing is relatively new and colorful. Great place for relaxation in April.

Sure to stay again if in the area

We loved the location, so close to walk to beach. It was great to have boardwalks, paved pathways and also a very quiet beach to walk on. Lots of activities nearby if you want to gather with others. House was spacious, great set up, furnished with nice pots, pans, dinnerware, etc. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place. Very modern, clean and cozy. I would model a new home after this one.

We travelled from the UK and stayed at this beautiful Port st Joe property to attend the wedding of our nephew near by. It was perfect, very comfortable, clean and plenty of room for 6 adults. The property is an ideal location for the beach, just a few minutes walk away. The community is fairly quiet but that suited us. The communication from the booking agent was first class too, they kept in touch and made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay a pleasant one.I would definitely recommend the property and we would love to come back one day.

Great Location

We stayed here while in town for our daughter’s wedding. The house and location were perfect for us. The neighborhood is quiet with a lot of walking trails and easy access to the beach for morning strolls! There were a few things that needed some attention as far as cleanliness, which we addressed with the property manager and she assured us it would be taken care of. We would definitely go back.

The Perfecct Vacation Spot

Port St. Joe is a hidden gem. The property is better than described; from it's location to the beach, decor of the house and the general area. We would recommend this property for anyone. Our only regret is that I didn't locate it when our children were younger. The seclusion of the beach makes you feel as though you have your own private beach and the water is shallow enough for you to not have to worry as much about your kid's safety.

Perfect for a quiet getaway

Beautiful house, well stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, comfy beds and all the beach gear you could wish for. Easiest check-in/check-out ever! Our 16 and 11 year old had a brilliant time biking all over this super safe and quiet neighborhood. It's less than a minute cycle to the pool, Cafe and general store. A little more than a minute cycle down well maintained boardwalks to the beach. The beach was pretty much empty everyday we were there and sooooo many shells! My hubby and daughter bought their paddle boards and got to hang out with a pod of dolphins a dusk one night. Port St. Joe is a 9 min drive down the road, where you'll find plenty of great restaurants, cool shops and treats. Apalachacola is about 35 minutes away and has more shops, restaurants and amazing airboat tours!

Great location but uncomfortable house

We have stayed in Windmark before and already knew the area is awesome. As far as the house goes..The biggest issue was the house wasn’t cooling down good so my husband checked the ac filter and it was HORRIBLE. There is no way it has been changed in the last year. I contacted the guest contact and she had someone come and replace it with a new filter. I also mentioned to her that the palm tree is so overgrown that you couldn’t park two cars there if you wanted to like the listing says. When they replaced the filter they also cut back the palm tree a little bit. So I would say if you have any issues they will do their best to solve them. We were also given an old pool code. Thankfully someone let us in until we received the new code. Now as far as the rest of our issues go.. I didn’t feel like bothering the guest contact with it but still worth noting. The beds are extremely uncomfortable. The pillows are even worse. Flat as a pancake. It was rough. No throw pillows on the couch or throw blankets. The listing says towels provided. But it was only 2 per bedroom. No dish rags, 1 dish towel. Crappy broom, no dust pan. Overall it was a pretty uncomfortable place to stay. Couch and recliner are super uncomfortable as well, very cheap. Location great, comfortability awful. Honestly shocked we are the first review to mention these things… this is our 2nd year visiting the area. Amazing area, will choose a different house next time.

We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following: - We appreciate your information regarding the AC unit filter and the shrub. We tried to respond quickly to your concerns and wish you would have brought the other items mentioned in your review to our attention as well so we had time to make things right. - While we try to accommodate all guests' comfort, mattress, and couch taste are subjective, and we had not received any complaints about these in the past. Due to your feedback, we added toppers to the mattresses and replaced the pillows. We also added new throw pillows and a throw to the sofa. - We normally provide 3 bath towels, 2 hand towels, 2 washcloths, and makeup cloths. In the kitchen, we provide 1 dish cloth, 2 kitchen towels, and a scrub pad. If our guests need more linens we are happy to bring over some additional linens and supplies. We sincerely apologize for the issues you experienced during your stay as we strive to provide 5-star experiences!

Excellent beach vacation home

The location of the home is ideal, and the layout is great. There were 4 adults and two littles, with room for everyone to be comfortable. It was an easy walk to the beach or the community pool and playground. In addition, you can walk to the Main Street area where there is good food, a store with goodies for everyone, a fitness facility and recreational/ rental space. A common green area is available with a variety of activities. It is family friendly and the surrounding area offers more good food and outdoor opportunities .
