A real comfortable holiday stay!

We really enjoyed our stay here! It’s the second visit we’ve made and love it more each time. A very homey, cozy feel to the place. The house is quite clean, the kitchen is well equipped, beds are very comfortable. Overall 10 out of 10 for us!

Comfort and quality.

Spent Christmas in this beautiful house. What a beautiful home to stay in. It had everything we needed in the kitchen, we didn’t go out to eat once in 5 days. Overall a great home very comfortable and by looking forward to returning soon!

Quick family weekend

Beautiful, clean property. Kitchen was perfect for the cooking we needed to do as we prepared for Unbound Gravel 200 bike race in Emporia. The drive was far for the bike race, but the location was nice and beautiful and clean.

Wonderful Stay!

We had an absolute wonderful stay! The house is beautiful. Very clean. The kitchen has anything and everything you might need to cook. So much room to just hang out. The location was great. Close enough to Topeka, but secluded in the country. Can’t beat the sunset. Just wish we were able to stay a few more days!

Wonderful place to stay - lots of updates

The house was wonderful. Really appreciated that the house had plenty of plates, silverware, coffee cups, and even towels. Normally at VRBO places they only have 4 of everything. Not this place, they had plenty which was great! The house has many updates and the outside sitting area was wonderful for morning coffee or evenings. Would definitely recommend.

The pictures on the website don't do this place justice. It was way better than I imagined.. My mom and I used the cute farmhouse as home base for the 4 nights we were in the area visiting family. This house was my saving grace admidst traveling 2500 miles and visiting so many people. The swing out back and the porch were great for morning coffee. The kitchen is well equiped and very functional. The decor is lovely yet comfortable. I was a little concerned about the Jack and Jill bathroom between the bedrooms. But with the extra half bath and the amaing layout of the full bathroom it worked out super well. My mom and I loved the bathroom vanity and the lighting in there. The house has the old farm house charm with all the modern comfort and style. I didn't realize how close the house sits to the road. There is a definite country highway sound. Personally I found it comforting and soothing, like being at the ocean.. And the situation of the house on the property means coming and going and outdoor life is done behind the house away from the road, I loved the landscape and layout. As for the host, I couldn't ask for better. They were great about communicating and very quick to respond to my questions. Minor issues were solved quickly. I felt like they went above and beyond. Really fabulous host! I will most definitely use this house again next time I am headed to visit family in Kansas

Kansas Bound

This property is just as beautiful as the pictures! The amenities and attention to detail are outstanding. The farmhouse is so quaint and the renovation has made it into a modern farmhouse with beautiful decor and comfortable furniture. Owners are very responsive and reservation process was very simple as well as gaining access to the property. We will stay again on our next trip to Kansas!

Wonderful house

We rented the house instead of a hotel room while visiting Topeka for a family reunion. The house was very clean, all the kitchen gadgets I could need, plus beautiful appliances. We have two tall teenagers and one fit comfortably on the couch while the other on the trundle bed. Plenty of linens, and pillows. The porch was peaceful, I spent my early mornings there alone with a beautiful view of the trees in the yard and the corn fields beyond. Nice to have more than one commode to use with 4 of us there. I would definitely recommend the house. 5 minutes from grocery store and gas station, as well as a few fast food options.

Amazing Experience

From the time the property was booked to the time we left, everything went perfectly. We arrived late that night and had no issues with accessing the property and everything was ready to go. The place was very clean, location was perfect. Highly recommend this property!!

Cozy Home

Perfect location for our family to visit, right off the highway. So comfy on the inside, felt like everything was brand new which made it feel very up to date. All of my family and friends were so impressed, spent an afternoon looking out the windows at the new snow and putting together a puzzle which we found in a closet. Very much enjoyed out stay :)
