Frankford September getaway

What a lovely house and location... not far from the beach and other amenities, but secluded in a most quiet neighborhood backing up to the woods. We would highly recommend staying here if you want to leave the beach and come home to a pleasant and quiet surroundings.

Great house in a great quiet neighborhood. Fully stocked from the kitchen to the toys and games. Communication was great with the owner and manager and the house was just like it was shown and described in the listing. We will certainly become regular renters.

Great hostess

Lovely home in a nice neighborhood. The owner was immediately available when we reached out about a slight issue, she resolved it immediately. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return again.

Beautiful house. Great location. The cleaning crew could do a better job cleaning the floors especially since there is a pricey cleaning fee added to the rental fee.

Nice house but terrible smell

The house is very nice and was visibly very clean. Unfortunately the house smells like it was used by cats as a litter box. The smell was bearable with the windows open. But otherwise it was quite awful. The owner mentioned the smell in the additional house rules that were sent after the refund period was over. We would not stay here again because of the smell. It's a shame, the house is very nice otherwise.

Hi Christopher, the homeowner was surprised to read your review as she is accustomed to providing 5-star experiences and would like to clarify the following: - The welcome book was sent 11 days before your arrival on September 4, 2022, and did not mention any smell since this wasn't an issue - My house was recently remodeled with new laminate floors that are super easy to clean. I've never had cats in the home, and I only allow dogs with a pet fee - My cleaning team was at my house earlier in the day before your arrival and did not smell anything in the home. The guests that were previously there also did not report an odor. Additionally, my family and I were there the week prior to that and didn't notice a smell - My cleaner and I inspected the home after your departure, and there was no cat urine smell. Please be assured that if there had been an issue with an unpleasant odor upon your arrival and you had contacted someone, we would've resolved the issue immediately - I wish you had reached out to me, the Guest Contact, or Evolve if there was a problem during your stay as we are happy to help, but, unfortunately, we didn't hear from you My team and I truly go above and beyond for our guests, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays!

Great little woodsy spot 5 mins to the beach

We loved this place! It was perfect for our family and accommodated everyone with ease. The layout was excellent for our split group with two bedrooms and a full bath upstairs and then the master suite and fourth bedroom right off the kitchen. There’s also a half bath. Only thing that would’ve made this place five stars would be if it had all the bells and whistles like upgraded deck, updated furniture, etc. I believe the description matched the house perfectly and would be excellent for any family that is used to a laid-back vibe and enjoys a serene, beautiful view of the woods. I think this was my favorite part. The kids also enjoyed the pool and neighborhood was very safe. While it is not walking distance to Bethany, it is a short five minute drive to everything. It is also a newer subdivision so to the people that are looking for the older neighborhoods with the old growth trees, this definitely is not that. But it reflects in the price and we are very happy with our choice to stay here.

Happy!!!

We loved the community it was safe and quite area great for families with children. We had a great family vacation and this home made the stay even better. We had plenty of space to move around and to have family time... We loved the skylights and the screened porch made us want one for our family home. For the most part the home was in great condition!!! However, there were a few things that needed some work. When we 1st arrived I had to clean the floors of crumbs, so that my crawling 1 year old would not be eating old food off the floors. The high chair that was available in the home the straps were full of previous foods. The grill was not useable... When we uncovered it to use it after we had bought groceries to cookout the grill also had previous food on it that had molded. When I sat down on the couch there was trash in the couch... We had only been there for an hour so I knew it was not from us. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and look forward to Bethany Beach being our annual family vacation spot.

Great Week Away!

Traveled down to Delaware with my husband, two young girls (3 and 5) and our dog and really enjoyed the house! The location was great, just a few miles from Bethany Beach and we also enjoyed using the pool in the complex. The house was spacious and comfortable. It had all of the amenities that we needed for the week, including beach gear as well which was a huge bonus! Check in and communication prior to our stay was easy and the property manager was very responsive. Would definitely recommend!

2022 Beach Vacation

The property was easily located and in the center for many beaches. The property needed a little more cleaning, such as under furniture and cushions. We found a couple of toys under the furniture, a sock in the couch and a large pill on the floor that did not belong to us. Luckily the children did not see it and eat it. It was a little hard to get to the beach with 2 young kids, but we had a great time together as a family. The property in all was good for all of us with the accommodations and being able to split families by the floors. Wished there were more TV's.

Beautiful property

We spent a week here for our annual "Gals Week" trip with family members ranging from 5 to 75 years old. This house was perfect for us! The sleeping accomodations worked for everyone. The house was clean, kitchen well-appointed, and location was close to everything we wanted to do in the area. We especially enjoyed the screened in porch, where we enjoyed coffee in the mornings and dinner in the evenings. The pool was within walking distance and we spent several afternoons there with our kids. As a family, we go to a different location every year and this has been one of our favorite properties! Thanks for a great stay!

Although the overall cost of House was more than we wanted to pay, the house had every amenity we required. Kitchen, laundry, bathroom items, linens,paper goods were fully stocked. House very neat, non cluttered and clean. Cleaning items also available were handy. Community neighborhood pool was very clean, well kept, monitored, and beautifully trimmed with neat landscaping. It was a great option other than beach especially with two toddlers. House well maintained as well. Location was convenient to stores. Our overall impression of house was excellent and owner seemed diligent with anything that needed repair. We had a great vacation. Thank you.

Clean and spacious

Nice open family/living/kitchen, plenty of room to move around with our family of 8. Ample kitchen supplies. Gas grill on deck. Screened in porch next to forest. Off the beaten paths but ocean and attractions are close and accessible.
