Timber Run 119 by Mountain Vacation Lodging is a well appointed and affordable condo that is ideal for two couples or small families. With completely new furnishings and decor in fall 2021, and additional updates since, this condo is comfortable and stylish. It has great quality finishes as well, with hardwood floors and granite counters. Guests who stay here will also enjoy a condo with good quality, an abundance of on-site amenities, and a convenient mountain village location that includes a private shuttle service in ski season. Please read on for more details.

The Property:
The condo is laid out on one level. You enter into a large open space that includes the living room, kitchen, and dining area. Right by the door, there's also a space with with coat racks, storage cubbies, and benches where you can sit down and remove your ski boots. One of the benches offers additional storage, an indication of the forward thinking approach the owner has taken in the condo. The living room has very comfy new leather furniture surrounding a large HDTV and warm gas fireplace. A sliding glass door offers you direct access to a covered patio with furniture and festive lighting. The dining table seats 6 and works well for board games or laptops. The kitchen has a large counter and bar with seating for 3. It is fully equipped with everything your chef will need to prepare meals and feed your group. Bedroom 1 is a suite which includes a King bed, ceiling fan, HDTV, private bathroom, and a good sized closet. Bedroom 2 has a Queen bed, another large closet, and a full bathroom right across the hall.

It is worth noting that most condos in Steamboat Springs do not include AC. This is a lower level condo, with tall, mature trees to the south which offer shade. As a result, this condo stays cooler than most others even during the hot parts of summer. Don't worry, when it's cool or cold at night, and for guests visiting in colder seasons, you will have no problem keeping it cozy and warm, thanks to the gas fireplace and baseboard heat.

Location:
Timber Run is located 1/2 mile from the center of the Steamboat Ski Resort. In ski season, a complimentary private shuttle is available to give you a ride to and from the slopes. During the day, it loops back and forth to and from Gondola Square, the heart of the mountain village. From there, you can easily walk throughout the mountain village, or hop on the free city bus for a ride anywhere in town. The distance to the slopes is walkable for many, and outside of ski season, can be quite pleasant. From this condo, just head outside, turn right, and cross Walton Creek Road to the Mountain Sneak trail, a paved and plowed sidewalk which meanders in between developments and leads directly to Gondola Square. Ski season guests who prefer the walk to the shuttle may consider storing skis and boots in Gondola Square, to make the walk easier. If you rent skis or boards, they'll offer free overnight storage, and we offer discounted rental rates from multiple rental locations in the Gondola Square area. Parking at the ski area is free, but the walk is faster. If anyone in your group is not skiing, driving to drop people off would take only about 2 minutes.

Arrival, Access, and Parking:
Once you book, we're here to support you. We offer professional concierge services, provide you with arrival instructions and answers to any specific questions you might have. When you arrive, you'll check in at the on site front desk. Accessing the unit does require some stairs. You can walk from the building's side parking area down the sidewalk and up just a couple of steps, or you can walk from the front parking area down one flight of steps. All parking at Timber Run is an outdoor lot. Parking is provided for up to two vehicles. The spaces are not assigned or reserved, and there is usually more than enough space for everyone. Please note, trailers are not allowed, per HOA guidelines. If you plan to bring one, there are options for parking them nearby. Contact us for details.

The tennis court is open in summer season only.

** Air Conditioning - Most mountain resort properties were not built with air conditioning. During most hours of the day and weeks of the year, AC is not needed. Summer nights are cool and fans are provided at most properties. Check the average high and low temperatures and weather forecast for your dates of travel, and look at the list of amenities to see if AC or fans are part of the rental property and look for ceiling fans in photos.
** Group Sizes, High Occupancy Fees, & Maximum Occupancy - Some properties use a “High Occupancy Fee” to “raise the rate” for larger groups, and are thus able to list a lower nightly rate for smaller groups. Each rental agreement and associated rates are for a specific group size. Guests must enter the correct and maximum group size at the time of booking. The agreement requires a guest to confirm the group size and subsequently, to disclose any changes to the planned group size, which may result in an increase, or decrease, to the total cost, and may result in a security deposit becoming required.
** Video & Noise Monitoring - Please note that noise monitoring devices, and security cameras, do exist on the exterior of the property. Cameras are positioned to cover all entrances and exits of the home. Cameras are present to ensure the property remains secure and safe, as well as to ensure that guests are honest and upfront about their planned use of the property. If you plan to bring more people than you've indicated, more dogs than indicated, to host a party or event, or do not intend to respect neighbors or the value and quality of the property, then this is not the place for you, and you should not book the property. Clean, cozy and convenient! This is SUCH a cute place to stay in Steamboat! The location is super convenient, it's very clean and super cozy (love the toasty fireplace and all the decor). The walk out patio is really handy and love that there are 2 separate bathrooms with separate sink areas, so you can have people going to the bathroom/showering while others are brushing their teeth/getting ready. Great for a girl's trip!! ALSO - I love that it has a jacuzzi (and pool) - I'm all about popping into the jacuzzi after a long day. This place is a 10 out of 10 and great for groups!

Great place for a ski vacation. Close proximity to the base of the mountain. Convenient shuttles to the mountain for skiing and to town for dinner.

Great ski trip

Trimber run 119 was a great location for our Steamboat ski trip. Convenient day shuttle to the mountain drops you right at the base area. The condo was well equipped and the hot tubs were fantastic.

Great Location

This condominium is located next to my sister's condo complex and because it is on the ground floor it remains cool during warm summer months. A great location for a summer visit to Steamboat.

Condo near the slope

Condo is well decorated and clean, not cluttered. Well stocked kitchen, comfy seating and beds. 3 step access from back easier than 1 floor of stairs from front for heavy luggage. Great home base for our summer stay.

Perfect place for Steamboat vacation

Our entire family ( with two toddlers) enjoyed this well kept cozy place for our winter vacation. It’s conveniently located close to Steamboat Ski resort. The community shuttle that takes us to the ski resort is super convenient. Driving anywhere you need to go around town is less than 5 minutes. The unit itself is very well kept with nice furnishings and very clean. The host is also very responsive and answers all my questions very quickly. I would stay there again next time I go to Steambaot.

Thanksgiving Getaway

Loved this property for our getaway! The kitchen was so well stocked with pots/pans all the way down to a garlic press, which made it easy to make a Thanksgiving meal. The icing on the cake was the hot tub and heated pool which was a nice way for our kids to spend part of the day! Definitely will rebook!
