Hello Margaret, I'm so very sorry for your negative experience. We are very proud of our property and we take incredibly good care of it. As I do with every guest, I reached out immediately after check in to ensure everything was to your standards and to let you know if anything at all came up during your stay, that I would help with anything. I never once heard from you and all of your issues would have been resolved within minutes. The sand on top of the washer and dryer comes from storing the kids beach toys and beach chairs that we provide to all our guests. The instructions for the propane stove are written on the front panel, the instructions for the heat pump are in the drawer right next to the remote. Our professional cleaner has been with us for several years and this is the first time anyone has had issues with cleanliness. Should you have contacted me on day 1, I would have had the place re-cleaned immediately. Upon reading your message re: the toilet, we had a plumber in to inspect the toilet and he couldn't find anything wrong with it, except that you need to hold the handle in for the duration of the flush. It's a shame that instead of contacting me with your issues as I had indicated you do, you had yourself a 2/5 star vacation. While we take your comments to heart and will ensure instructions are more visible and the place continues to be cleaned to our guests standards, we certainly don't appreciate the rudeness in which you deliver your feedback.
