This location offers unbeatable views of the Caribbean Sea with the floor to ceiling windows. Just look down into the crystal clear water to watch the marine life gracefully swimming by. The windows throughout are perfectly tinted to ensure your privacy without interfering with the gorgeous views.

Walk through the gate, shower off your sandy feet in the outdoor shower and jump in the shared pool to cool off. Throughout the property you'll find brilliant details such as an outdoor bathroom near the pool, elegant decor, warm lighting, and a cozy patio. Aire creates a luxurious yet homey atmosphere where you can enjoy the perfect Caribbean vacation.

This 1 bedroom is the top floor of a larger home and provides your own separate entrance. The floor to ceiling wall of windows facing the Caribbean Sea flood the space with light, providing you a beautiful Caribbean welcome. Best place on the Island

An amazing property close to all you need in the West End. Snorkling off your deck or a 1 min walk to Half Moon Bay. Check in was a breeze, driver and prop mgr met us promptly after a stop at the market. Washer/dryer was a plus. Will definitely book again

Perfect Location and Beautiful View!!

My husband and I just stayed a week at this beautiful villa. Everything including dive shops, restaurants, bars, and great snorkeling are within a 5 minute walk. Saw rays from our deck one evening as well as an octopus and eel. I would recommend ear plugs just in case the bar across the way plays loud music which is usually on Fridays and Saturdays. Wasn’t an issue for us though. We had Roatán Chef Services cater one night and that was fabulous.

Amazing place

Westend is the best place to be in the island and the location of this house couldn’t be better. It’s off the beaten path so it’s very private. The A/C is a lifesaver as it is hard to find on the island. The beds are very comfortable and the loft is a perfect place for a teen who wants their own space. There is a club across the bay that plays loud music throughout the night Thurs-Sat. It was not a big deal for us because we couldn’t have had a better location view wise. We were lucky enough to meet the owners and learn more about the home and their love for Roatan. We will absolutely stay here again.

Spectacular Place

This is an amazing house. Just like the photos in the listing. I have stayed in many rental properties throughout the Carribean over the years and can honestly say that I've never had a view better than this. My fiance and I spent most of our days right on the property. The snorkeling right off of the front steps was incredible. We explored all of West End and West Bay and I really don't think that there is a better place than this house in either location. There should be A LOT more positive reviews here. The property management was responsive to any small issues that we had. I will say that the local nightlife (music) in some of the nearby beach bars was pretty loud late into the night (and early AM hours). We thought ahead and brought earplugs which we used a few times. Not a deal breaker for us. We'd gladly come back!

Great place, spectacular views, awesome private snorkeling

Overall a great place. My wife and I stayed here for 2 weeks. The apartment is nicely done, all amenities work fine. I really liked the wall-to-wall windows, which give you a fantastic view of the sea. We spent a lot of time just hanging around in the apartment as it was already in the perfect place for views. The access to snorkeling is a real bonus. Almost nobody else can access the reef here which is right in front of the unit. The snorkeling is unreal. The reef is healthy, with hard and soft coral. We also saw eagle rays, stingrays, lobster, eel, as well as lots of colorful fish. There are two issues worth mentioning: 1) The location of the unit is directly across the water from nightclubs which play loud music till 2 AM several nights a week. The noise travels directly across the water with no obstructions and is very loud. This made it hard to sleep. 2) The water pressure isn't very good.

No better place on the island

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Villa Aire for a week in June 2022. This property is absolutely amazing. We explored the entire island and concluded that there is no better place. Literally in the heart of West End- walking distance to everything you could ever want. Restaurants, bars, shops, beaches, water taxis, excursions, dive shops, etc… we rented a car and only used it twice so I do not recommend doing that. The views are the best on the island with your own steps right into the water to snorkel the beautiful shallow reefs. Marvin, the caretaker of the property, was very kind and helpful. He is working around the property almost every day. The office staff is very responsive to all of your needs. We got locked out of the house late one night so I called the listed number and they answered and assisted immediately. I cannot say enough about this vacation but especially the house. When we go back to Roatan, we WILL stay there!

Amazing!

First, let's start with the views. Simply amazing. Every window looks out onto the water. Everything the pictures show. You can snorkel right off the steps of the deck. We saw all kinds of fish, eels, etc. (Watch out for boat traffic.) Lots of dive shops and water activities nearby. House is very nice and clean. The pool was awesome and provided many days lounging in the sun watching the boats go by. Marvin, the caretaker was awesome and helped us with luggage and getting checked into the house. The ladies in the rental office were great too and arranged for Marvin to be waiting for us when we got there. Plenty to do right there in West End, no problem if you don't have a car, tons of stuff in walking distance. If you do have a car (we did, like to be able to explore the island on our own), parking can be arranged across the street for a minimal charge. If you are looking for a relaxing getaway while staying in a unique and amazing place, still with plenty to do nearby, this is the place for you.

Renter Beware (1)...

There are a lot of problems. • No hot water – tepid showers at best; in the kitchen I boiled the kettle. • Dishwasher – cuts out regularly • Outside fan – cuts out, only runs for a few minutes. • Oven – great but not insulated, it heats up the apartment. • Air conditioner (in the living area) – needs repair; it actually over cools. One night I had it set for 75F and it went down to 66F. The entire area was covered in condensation every surface soaked. When reported, instead of fixing the A/C unit, or replacing it, the owners just shut it off each night remotely, without notifying me. This a/c unit is the only way to cool the sleeping loft as well as the living area. FIX 6-days later: a remote control that connects directly to the unit and bypasses the owner’s app. When I checked-out, the rental agent took it away and turned the WiFi controls back on. Beware next renter. • Owners – were turning off my A/C remotely to help me. My reply, to help me, ‘FIX IT OR REPLACE IT!’ BLINDS MUST BE CLOSED 12:30pm to Sunset: The entire living area needs to be shutdown to keep out the roasting sun. THIS ELIMINATES THAT LOVELY VIEW for most of the day. NO PRIVACY BETWEEN APARTMENTS: With absolutely no insulation or sound dampening between the two areas, you hear every footfall, door slam, window closing, and vibration. Even the sound of one poor fellow with a sinus problem, blowing his nose. Yeah, you hear everything. I tip-toed around. LOCATION: NOISY, NOISY, NOISY (day and night). DAY: beginning around 7:30am and throughout the day, local tour boats, water taxis, dive boats, and endless jet skis scream right past the front of the house. NIGHT: A bar facing the bedroom blasts live music until 2:00am. The windows are single-pane so no buffer. AFTER HOURS EMERGENCY SUPPORT: • Your best bet is 911 but they only speak Spanish. • Bulldog Security, who monitors the house alarm system, just answers the phone from 6:00am-6:00pm. • A watchman, supposedly patrols the area at night, yet at 4:00am when my smoke alarm sounded, I went outside to get help. My door was open, the alarm was screeching, I was walking around with a flashlight and no guard was alerted or seen. • Roatan Vacation Rental: They give (5) contact numbers with no guarantee someone will answer. One time I left emails, phone messages and texts, not getting a reply until the following morning. Believe me when you’re in an emergency, you don’t want to be playing Russian roulette on the phone

We realize you did not enjoy your stay, but I do think it's a little unfair to the owners to post such an exaggerated negative review. You are the first guest at this property who didn't love it. I am pretty sure the owners, and us as their management company , would rather you moved to a different location and offered a refund than have you so unhappy- if you had asked. You made no effort to let us know of issues of the fan, stove or dishwasher. and I think it was user error as all have functioned fine for other guests and our housekeeping. AC- After checking into this, and calling out the AC tech, we realized the room temperature setting on the control needed re-calibrating. The AC unit was running on the correct setting, the control was off sync indicating it was cooler. I was there when we witnessed it indicating 68 degrees, but the AC and room temperature were at 74. We gave you a different remote to avoid your confusion over this. The AC is brand new and the correct BTU for the room, including the loft. The owners were not remotely turning it off, they were checking on their end the temperature only. This home is often rented as 2 separate apartments. I ask guests for feedback and no one has ever complained about other renters or boats. It is not a location for those super sensitive to noises-. I recall you telling me to 'hush' when I came by one day to check the AC! The island does have a 911 service, but it's not the same as USA. Our staff numbers are provided as back up. I don't think anyone who was being honest can claim they answer 24/7, which is why we offer multiple contacts. As you know, I live practically next door, both myself and the renters downstairs would have been happy to help you out. It must be noted the security company monitor the house alarm. I did try to explain that - if the alarm goes off, it triggers a call out at their office. They do not get an alert with the smoke detector and here is not a guard onsite- hence the reason they did not come out. This is a new, modern home, stunning location with view to match, your review is very out of the ordinary.
