Just steps from a level sandy beach is a generous raised deck, and brand new, 4 bedroom, two full bath, open concept cottage. Features a massive wood burning fireplace, vaulted ceilings and sleeping comfortably for 10. Just 5kms from Dorset for all the shopping you'll need.

100% updated with stylish White shiplap and tongue and grove Pine vaulted ceilings. Quartz countertops, ceramic backsplash and floors in the spa-like bathrooms. Generous sized bedrooms.

Parking for 6 vehicles easily. Generous entry and lots of storage for snowmobile suits and helmets.
Other things to note
TAP WATER: We have a brand new 125 foot deep fresh water well. The water is perfectly safe for drinking and all of your cooking. The filtered water in the cooler can also be used for instant hot water for tea.

WASHER & DRYER: Available for your use. Located in the closet in the front closet. Clean out the lint trap in the dryer after each load.

GARBAGE: There is no roadside garbage pick-up. The garbage dump is free (2 bags per week + unlimited recyclables) for household garbage and recyclables. It’s about 7 minutes away. Please never leave garbage outside. It attracts Bears and other animals and can make a real mess. If you leave any garbage or recyclables, there will be an additional $50 fee charged to you.

STAND UP PADDLE BOARD, KAYAK, PADDLE BOAT & CANOE: Please feel free to use any of our watercraft at your own risk. Please always wear a Personal Flotation Device and NEVER leave young children unsupervised.

TV: The TV is Bell Satellite with a pretty good array of channels. All controls are programmed with the one remote. Just use the Bell remote to turn on the Bell box and then you can use the Guide, etc. on the Samsung remote. Netflix is included and already set up.

WIFI: Internet reception is not the best in our area. We have provided the best connection available. It seems to work best for emails, texts and web browsing. Passwords are provided in the cottage manual upon arrival.

PUBLIC BOAT LAUNCH: A few hundred metres down Paint Lake Rd. is a public boat launch that you can use free of charge to launch and retrieve any motorized watercraft that you may bring or rent during your stay. Our dock is equipped with cleats to tie up your watercraft. The water at the end of the dock is usually 5+ feet deep and so you should be safe to park your watercraft there safely. Please just check your draw to ensure you don’t damage your watercraft.

TOWELS AND BLANKETS: Bath towels and swimming towels are provided for your use. There are also extra blankets provided for outdoor use, such as around the campfire.

BBQ: The BBQ is provided for your use. It is directly connected to our propane source and so you will never run out during your stay. We leave the valve in the OFF position when not in use. You will see the lever attached to the deck behind the BBQ. Turn the Lever perpendicular to the hose to turn the propane on. Please turn the propane off when you are done with the BBQ or leaving.

FIREPLACE: The fireplace is provided for you to use as you wish. The Flue is always left open so no guest forgets and smokes out the place.

CAMPFIRES: The fire pit outside is available for your enjoyment as well. There is firewood stacked up on the North and East sides of the garage and there are marshmallow roasting sticks hanging from the birch tree closest to the cottage. Please ensure any food residue is cleaned off the roasting sticks
before they are hung back up for the next guests.


DAMAGES/BROKEN OR LOST ITEMS: We trust that you will be as careful and mindful as possible with our belongings, as you would in your own home. We do realize however that sometimes things get broken or lost so we would just appreciate that you either replace minor items, or let us know if anything does get broken or lost during your stay so that we can be sure to have it repaired or replaced before our next guests arrive.
