Diane was a wonderful guest! Golden was amidst a heat wave during part of her visit and a power brownout occurred! She was a champ and host’s dream in getting through it! She and her guest reported a wonderful stay and left the house immaculate to boot. I look forward to their next visit. Until then, Happy Trails!

Cozy and Convenient

My son and I stayed for a week and absolutely loved it. This lovely cottage feels like staying with family - we had absolutely everything we needed and then some. The beds are so comfy, the kitchen is well stocked, and there are even snacks and coffee/tea! The location is awesome - it's super easy to trot into downtown on the trails but also easy access to highways. The host is very communicative, friendly, and accommodating. We definitely plan to stay again!!

Nice stay in a good location

Quick drive to downtown Golden, short walk to start the climb for a North Table hike. The house was clean and well-stocked with kitchen items for eating in and morning coffee. (A nicety for me was the fridge ice maker and water dispenser!)

Golden Hub

This cozy home was an ideal place for our Colorado vacation. Walking distance to downtown Golden and the shops/restaurants and convenient to travel and see Colorado's other sites (from Colo. Springs to Vail to Rocky Mtn. N.P.). Our hosts, Susan and Brandon, were attentive and made sure we had all that we needed to enjoy our first trip to Colorado!

Golden, Colorado

Very comfortable, well-stocked, lovely art, just a great place to stay. Ease of access to major highways but far enough away to avoid traffic noise. One suggestion- having a snow shovel available to dig out around my car would have been handy after 6 inch snowfall over night. We highly recommend this property.

From the owner: "Hi Pat, thanks for your review! I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay and found the home comfortable, well-stocked, and conveniently located. We provide a snow shovel and salt for guests during winter, and our team clears the porch, walkways, and driveway whenever snowfall exceeds an inch. I'm sorry the shovel wasn’t easy to find, it was placed near the side of the back porch. Thanks for being such wonderful guests! We’d be honored to host you again."

This is truly a home away from home. Susan has paid careful attention to the comfort of her guests, & we found we were surrounded by a warm, enjoyable space. The location is ideal, it’s located 5min. Away from downtown Golden, & there are many museums nearby. I would highly recommend this home if you’re looking for a special stay.

Just a 2-3 minute drive to downtown Golden. They had everything you could imagine stocked at the house. All toiletries were provided as well. They even had snacks for the whole family. The only thing I was disappointed in was no washer or dryer. Besides that it was a great house. Would definitely come back.
