Bernie's - absolute beachfront

BERNIE'S is a comfortable 4 bedroom shack that accommodates up to 9 guests with great sea views! Free WiFi.

Open plan kitchen with large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, electric stove, coffee plunger, dining, lounge area with large TV with HDMI port, split system reverse cycle air-conditioner. (Please Note: fireplace shown in pictures is not for use)

Small bathroom with walk-in shower, vanity, separate w/c. Stainless steel sink, no washing machine.

4 bedrooms with one of the bedrooms accessed outside at side of shack.

Gas BBQ, outdoor setting

Fish cleaning facility, parking for a couple of cars and boat.

Bed configuration - bed 1 - queen, bed 2 - double, bed 3 - 1 bunk plus trundle (children only on trundle), bed 4(accessed outside)- Double

Pillows and quilts are provided, you will need to take your own linen - pillow cases, sheets, towels/bath mat and tea towels.

PLEASE NOTE: beach can be accessed by using the stairs, please be aware at the base of the stairs there are large rocks with smaller rocks used as steps, extreme caution is needed.

Fab holiday

We are a family of 6, Bernies was the perfect place for us. Directly on the beach so the children could wander down and explore when they wanted. Was so quiet and the shack had everything we needed. We will definitely be revisiting Bernies.

Classic Aussie shack with comforts in a cracker location!

We had a wonderful stay at Bernie’s with everything we could need and a wonderful location. It ticked the boxes for all age ranges which is tricky with kids and teens. Saw dolphins, eagle rays and loads of sea bird life right out the front. The beach is quiet and safe for kids and they loved snorkeling and swimming. We had a blast thank you!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A few comments : The position is beautiful-nature wise,very quiet, we saw dolphins, pelicans and other birds, the property has small private beach and stunning million dollars view. And it was very convenient for us as we worked in Point Souttar, the reservation process was smooth and very helpful. Unfortunately the property, we believe has not been cleaned after previous guest/s, (ex.dirty tea towel left on the stove, fridge, freezer quite full with the stuff, spider webs,dead insects left everywhere, entry veranda and fish cleaning facility has not been cleaned for a long time etc; overall the place is very old and certainly in need of refurbishment also the security door-locker is not working and to have clothes dry rack will certainly be helpful...well, if the things we mentioned above are address and will improve we would be happy to come back again as we enjoyed the surroundings.

Reviewer Comments: Wow, the photos don’t do this justice.when you walk around to the front, facing the sea .. the view was amazing and our own steps down to the beach ! The house had many special little touches for comfort and was presented very clean . It was just the two of us and was very romantic but also this house would be fabulous for a family with your own beach for swimming and exploring. Location was a great base to explore either up or down the peninsula . Recommend point Turton pub for a great meal ! . Wish we had more time but we will definitely be back for another “weekend at Bernie’s “ !

Beautiful location

It was exactly what we were looking for, simple clean and great location.From the front we could see seals relaxing on the rocks, and sting rays swimming up and down looking for food. Just magical.Basic amenities available, if you are cooking for a larger group I would suggest taking your own frying pan. Everything else was there.Friendly neighbours which was great I'll be back again thank you for letting us stay at your place.
