Neu renovierte 2 Schlafzimmer am Strand Erholungsheim, 35 min. Fahrt von Reykjavik und 25 Minuten von Thingvellir. Offenes Wohnzimmer in der Küche mit herrlichem Blick über Hvalfjördur, ein 30 m² großes Loft mit Schlafgelegenheit für 2 Personen und ein Schlafzimmer mit Kingsize-Bett. Großer Garten mit großer Terrasse nach Süden.

Überall in der Hütte leben fantastische Vögel !!!

Das Haus liegt 10 Meter von der Küste entfernt, umgeben von Grün und Bäumen und in einer ruhigen, malerischen Umgebung.

Schönes und warmes Ferienhaus. Offene Küche, Essbereich und Wohnzimmer mit Kamin. Zwei Zimmer mit guten Doppelbetten und Bad mit Dusche und Waschmaschine.

Auf dem Grundstück befindet sich ein neuer Whirlpool mit Blick auf den Fjord.

Really cosy and homely little hideaway

We really enjoyed our one-week-stay in Stefans hut: It was just perfect - we felt at home from the moment we walked through the door. It is really impressive how beautifully the whole hut is furnished and how much love there is in the details. You already feel deeply relaxed when you enter the garden. Wunderschön - Fabulous

Die vielen positiven Kommentare waren mitentscheidend für unsere Wahl. Ich sage euch: Jedes einzelne Wort ist absolut wahr. Wir fühlten uns vom ersten Moment an zuhause. Die Ruhe und die wunderschöne Atmosphäre des Waldgartens sind unvergleichlich. Danke Stefan für den freundlichen Empfang, obwohl wir die Ankunftszeit erst mitgeteilt haben, als wir schon da waren und besonderen Dank dafür, dass du dein Heim geteilt hast. Bless! Sehr schönes Haus direkt am Fjord

Das Haus bietet alles was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub in Island braucht. Inklusive Sauna. Reykjavik ist mit dem Auto in ca. 40 Min. erreichbar. Alles in allem ein sehr gelungener Urlaub. Einziges Manko: ACHTUNG!!!!: Obwohl in der Beschreibung des Hauses für 6 Personen vermerkt ist war der Vermieter dann überrascht als wir zu 6 vor der Tür standen und meinte, dass er eigentlich nicht an 6 Personen vermietet. Wir mussten dann mit einer Couch und einem provisiorischen Nachtlager auskommen. Bzw. hatten wir zum Glück ein Zelt mit welches wir im großen Garten aufstellten. Hat unseren Urlaub nicht getrübt, jedoch wäre es wichtig dies von anfang an klar zu stellen dass das Haus eigentlich nur für 4 Personen geeignet ist.

Wonderful, cosy cabin, right next to sea with stunning garden and looks

We really loved staying at Stefans cabin - it made our time in Iceland even more special - it is a very cosy house and we felt like coming home every evening after exploring this amazing island; the pictures can´t show the beautiful energy of this house and its garden - right by the sea! We could watch the seals from the house! And the house does not only have everything you need (including washing machine with dryer, dish washer, fully equipped kitchen, heating and oven for wood and also an extra sauna) but a lot of little, thoughtful things, that make it so cosy and let you feel at home - like a lot of plankets, cushions, ... We definitely recommend this house and would love to be able to come back! And it is situated wonderfully - quite close to Rekjavik but very quiet in nature right by the sea - very close to the Golden Circle and the Route 1 running around the Island - We hope we can be back one day!

Marvel

Stefan’s house is a marvel. Situated at the southern side of the Hvalfördur the house is hidden in a small forest, which is rare in Iceland. The furniture is cosy and we really felt at home. The house was very well equipped. We enjoyed watching the birds. Right opposite to the house is a small island and walking over to it at low tide was nice. The house is at a good distance to visit Reykjavik, the Thingvellir and even Snaefellsnes.

Wunderschöne Unterkunft

What an amazing place. We stayed in Stefan’s beach house for a week and had the best time. Perfect distance from Reykjavik so it was easy to get to (about 40 minutes) but were away from everything. Watching the seals, ducks, and shorebirds from the deck was a highlight. I’m not sure how many places you can relax in the hot tub and watch the northern lights but this was the place for us. House is small but had everything we needed to make it a great first trip to Iceland. Would definitely stay there again if we are ever back in Iceland. Thank you Stefan for sharing this place with us!

The location and quality of the cottage was lovely, but the owners returned during one of our outings, let themselves inside the premises, and dropped off some chair cushions of their own accord. This was unsettling and we understand they were probably only trying to be helpful, but the whole point of renting an entire cottage is to have privacy. The bed linens were rather rough/scratchy. Overall, it was a very nice stay.

This is a beautiful little cottage on a gorgeous fjord. It is tucked back in a wooded area and is full of lovely Icelandic art and treasures everywhere you turn. Cozy and private with amazing views!

The house is very secluded, so we thought we were in the wrong place. We called Stefan and he talked to us on the phone until we got to the house. He was very nice, helpful and patient. The house is great. Very rustic and cozy. There was coffee and other basic kitchen items provided. Wifi was great. Hot tub was wonderful to relax in after a long day. It was very quiet and peaceful. We slept very well! We witnessed beautiful sunsets and saw cool wildlife including seals. 100% recommend staying here!

Peace with a stunning view

After a week and a half cycling in Spain, my wife and I enjoyed a long weekend at this stellar home. We thoroughly enjoyed connecting with the scenic vistas surrounding us, as well as viewing the wildlife. Our hosts curated a warm and welcoming environment through a home with beautiful architecture with phenomenal interior design choices. Staying here truly made our first visit to Iceland special and we look forward to returning again one day!

Beautiful beach house!

We stayed 3 nights. Very clean, my kids (7 and 9) loved the loft. I loved the large windows out to the ocean. We saw seals pretty much every day playing in the water. I would recommend staying here.Host were easy to contact and great at getting back to you.

Gorgeous beach front solitude!

We had an amazing stay at Stefan's house. The location is spectacular, nestled in a grove of trees directly beach front, the views are amazing, we even had seals visit the beach our last day. The house is extremely comfortable, cozy and clean with everything you need including a washer / dryer. The location is very private yet convinient. Reykevik is about 45 minutes, groceries, resturants etc are about 20 minues in the town of Akranes. Thingvelir National park is 30 minutes and the Snaefellsnes National Park and peninsula is 2 hours. Peaceful, surrounded by nature with amazing views! If you want a beautful comfortable place to stay you have found it! A. Hill & Family - Minnesota-USA

An amazing stay just outside of Reykjavik

We stayed at Stefan's cabin for three days and two nights, and wow was it breathtaking. During our stay we were able to enjoy a stunning Aurora Borealis light show from both the comfort of the hot tub and the cool of the nearby beach. The home is well stocked with basic amenities and we were able to cook for ourselves during our stay. The nearest store / restaurant is about 45min out, so having a fully stocked kitchen was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would love the change to visit again in the future.

Perfect in every way

My wife, son and daughter-in-law and I stayed at Stefan’s cozy cabin on the fjord north of Reykjavik. It was the perfect ending of our memorable week in Iceland. This was our first visit to this amazing Land of Fire and Ice. Stefan was very responsive to questions prior to our check in and during our stay. We loved looking out on the water and seeing the seals, enjoyed the hot tub and fireplace, and even cooked steaks on the grill in the midst of snow. The decor is perfect, great large TV, and in a wonderful location in the midst of nature all around, and secluded. Only improvement I would recommend would be the addition of handles on the ladder going up to the loft. JF (St. Johns, FLORIDA, USA)
