Misleading Photos & description, impossible to find The actual unit itself was ok-clean 3bedroom 2/bath, they have a sign telling you not to AC lower than 75 degrees because it might “ice over & stop”, which was ridiculous when it’s 102 degrees out. We kept it at 69 degrees no problem, so I guess just trying to save The real problems- 1. Location far from everything2. Pool area nothing like photo, it was one pool for a HUGE complex of buildings, with a few chairs and a few umbrellas and a lot of hot cement no shade, no one able to use. We had to buy day passes at hotels3.BIGGEST PROB: The uber and delivery drivers not able to find us - there are dozens of buildings, lots of poorly marked streets, you cannot give an accurate address and you can’t determine north vs south buildings and they can find the building numbers on the buildings, especially at night. We had to literally wander in the dark calling out for our Ubers and deliveries to find us. We even had to stand in the dark out on the main highway to flag some of them down. Do not understand why in such a huge complex of buildings there isn’t more signage to buildings and LIT bigger building numbers on the buildings Would not recommend renting here even with a car.

For navigation, we understand how challenging it can be to locate specific condos within larger communities. To help with this, we provide a GPS link for all of our condos that directs you to the exact building location. Guests are always welcome to share this link with drivers, which typically makes finding the unit much easier. Regarding the pool, we’re sorry if this wasn’t clear during your stay. The property features four pools in total, including two larger main pools that are usually not overly crowded. If those happen to be busy, the two smaller pools tend to be quieter and can offer a more relaxed setting. You also have access to the McDowell Mountain Recreation & Community Center pools for a total of 6 pools! As for the A/C, keeping it at 69°F is absolutely fine. The condos are designed to cool efficiently, and we typically recommend a range of 70–74°F for optimal comfort and performance during hotter days. We also want to mention that whenever any issues come up we strongly encourage guests to reach out to us directly. Our team is here to help and can often resolve concerns quickly during the stay. The McDowell Mountain Ranch area is a beautiful area in north Scottsdale. We appreciate your feedback.

Best Place to stay when showing at West World

We always stay here when showing at West World. It’s pet friendly. Lots of choices on how many rooms. It’s location is walking distance from the fairgrounds, it clean and homey. Has a full kitchen and a washer and dryer for healthier cooking and you don’t have to pack so much! Highly recommend

Desert Vista

Desert Vista was a good location and reasonably decorated and maintained property, however, we ended up staying there only after complaining to Meridian because the first condo they put us in was terrible. It was dingy, poorly maintained both inside and out and well below our expectations. It was disappointing and stressful to have to move our belongings but we were pleased that the manager found a new location for us on our first day.

False advertising on heated pool at our condo complex…and unsightly debris near patio.

We specifically emailed ahead to specify that we wanted to swim, and wanted to be sure the condo pool was heated. We were told yes (until April 15). BUT we got there and found No heated pool on Kota south property., and the heated pool on Kota north property was not properly cleaned or shocked…the water was cloudy…for the 4 days I checked it. Not sanitary to swim in. I first called Meridian to ask that they be sure to clean the pool (shock it) for the next day, so we could swim. I was told that they would try to get Kota to fix it, but Kota wasn’t always responsive. The next day, when I found the heated pool was still very cloudy, I emailed Meridian. Steve did respond, but just to suggest that my family use the passes they left in our condo to go off site to another heated pool. Not ideal, since we paid with the understanding that our condo would have a heated (CLEAN) pool in our condo complex. And, by the way, the electronic pass did not even work, so Steve had to send over another pass. He did. Also offer an alternative that we could pack up and move to a different complex, but the timing of that availability didn’t work for us. (Warm pool weather was only forecasted for the next few days.) Unfortunately, the grounds behind our patio were also unsatisfactory. There were dead branches piled up as a dumping place, and the tree directly behind our condo had many dead branches. We had requested a Mountain View (no)but would have been happy with cleaned up.

Meridian CondoResorts prides on our customer service and we will always go above and beyond for our guests. Once you informed us that the heated pool at the property was cloudy we reached out to the property management to see what can be done. The pool gets a lot if use during Spring Break and they run the pool filter for 12 hours each night so the next day the pool is looking good. All of our condos at this property also get private access to the Community Center and Recreation Center which both have large heated pools along with additional amenities such as tennis, pickleball, basketball, splash pads, and playgrounds. A great perk at this property that our groups love. We hope you are willing to give us another opportunity to make it up to you on a future trip in Scottsdale. We feature a few other properties too so you can always check out one of our other spots and we will certainly make it worth your while to come back. Perfect condo for our needs

Traveling with my older parents and my adult sons. The condo was the perfect size and provided good lodging. They were able to make a last minute change to accommodate a disability in our party, which was really appreciated.

No screen to patio. Like fresh air. Too close too multiple dog relief area

Average VRBO. Not gated like most we have used before. Did not like that we did not know location prior to booking. No vacuum for rugs & carpet. No swiffer for dust on floors. Blinds did not cover whole window. People could see in and we could see out and lots of light came in at night and in morning. No bulbs in the a couple of lamps

Adequate accommodations for a weeks stay

We stayed for a big week here with our family of 5. Check-in and communication was good. Very hard to find the property at night...you need to follow the gps coordinates they provide or you will not find the property. The condo was as advertised. Bathrooms were well outfitted with extra towels. Beds were comfortable and linens seemed a decent quality. The location was good for exploring the area and day trips to the National forests and parks in the area. Few items that were disappointing. The property was not overly clean. Floors, shower, bathroom countertops had lots of hair. - even the trim on the walls had hair stuck to it. The carpet is showing its age and needs to be deep cleaned or replaced. The WiFi was not working properly but they communicated well and for that taken care of. The kitchen has the bare essentials but could use some small appliances...waffle maker, blender, grilling tools. The overall age of the condo showed and definitely has a lived in feel. We probably would give a 5 star if it was cleaned and they had more small appliances stocked in the kitchen. We would recommend this for the cost - it was a good value just needs to be cleaned, some details taken care of to get the 5 star rating.

Great location

Loved the location and accommodations. Loved that you could choose either single or double beds in the rooms. Perfectly well stocked. Four pools and two workout facilities. Zero complaints except it was hard to find it in the dark and it was more expensive than we thought it would be.
