Whaler’s Rest is a single-level, clifftop oceanfront condo with stellar ocean views and outdoor seating for enjoying ocean breezes and spectacular sunsets.

You can swivel the living room chairs inwards for gatherings around the wood-burning fireplace, and TV, or turn them back to the windows for magnetic views of the sea, our relax in the spacious bay window that is also perfect for whale watching. A dining area and fully-equipped, updated kitchen with granite countertops give you the option to cook during your stay, or take the concrete walkway into town for seafood at Tidal Raves or chowder at Gracie’s Sea Hag. Whaler’s Rest is perfect for a romantic weekend or a vacation with another couple—both bedrooms have their own TVs and baths, so there’s plenty of space and privacy for up to four people. You can easily drive 20 minutes north to Lincoln City or 20 minutes south to Newport’s Bayfront, but there’s plenty of activity in Depoe Bay, with its scenic seawall, entertaining line of shops and its tiny harbor, where you can catch a whale-watching or fishing trip. All cleaning policies meet or exceed CDC standards and recommendations. Our team wears new masks, gloves and shoes covers each time they enter home to prepare it for a new stay. We clean and disinfect all hard surfaces and high-touch items such as appliance handles, light switches, door knobs, remote controls, etc. We also clean and disinfect all dishes/glassware, silverware, bedding, towels and other linens as well as tubs and toilets. Meredith Lodging has added the extra measure of a pre-check-in inspection to make sure all of our cleaning and disinfecting procedures are complete and to our standard before you arrive.

Once it passes inspection, your home sits empty until you arrive for your contact-free check-in. Additionally, if your home features a private hot tub, rest assured it is disinfected, treated and cleaned thoroughly after each departure so that you and your guests can enjoy it with peace of mind during your stay.
