THE COTTAGE
Possibly the sunniest cottage on Lake Huron, with 18 south facing windows and skylight windows to ensure an abundance of natural light in the cottage. House plants thrive in this environment, as evident by the large numbers of live plants around the cottage. Newly installed air conditioning provides proper cooling on a hot summer day, and the diverse lounge space, including the sunroom, outdoor patio dining, games room, and living room, makes it possible to accommodate large families.
Upgraded amenities can be found throughout the cottage:
- Wifi is Rogers Ignite Gigabyte (1Gbp/s) unlimited usage
- All bedrooms include luxurious fresh linen, duvet, pillows and bath towels
- Premium mattress in all bedrooms; all separate beds and no bunk beds

THE LOCATION
Nothing beats spending a day on the beach during a hot summer weekend. Kincardine is a paradise for beach lovers, with a natural warm and shallow sandy beach, and relatively free of tourists.
Historic lakeside downtown offers quaint shops, a local brewery, and great dining experiences with views of the lake. Load up on supplies in town, including Sobeys, No Frills, and LCBO. During sunset, head to the lighthouse for a free bagpipe performance by the "phantom piper". Every Saturday night, join in the famous Kincardine Pipe Band Parade marching along main street, a tradition since 1908! Enjoy free live music in downtown Kincardine every Sunday. Hike the beach trail, starting from the cottage and ending at the main beach, Lot of festivals are held in Bruce county, including the Summer Music Festival and the classic car show.
Attractions in Bruce Peninsula:
1. Bruce Peninsula National Park (1hr 40min drive): see the famous Grotto and take a ferry to flowerpot island (1hr 40min drive)
2. Bruce Caves (1hr 20min drive): A must see attraction, explore giant caves that were formed thousands of years ago. Fun hike on a rugged trail.
3. MacGregor Point Provincial Park (30min drive) recommend the Tower Trail with good chance to see wildlife. Huron Fringe Trail offers good opportunity to see birds (must go early in the morning)
4. Waterfalls of Grey Bruce: visit three incredible falls located near Owen Sound (1hr drive) - Indian Falls, Jones Falls, and Inglis Falls. A must see for visitors to the area with opportunity to get up close to Jones Fall.
5. Sauble Beach: touristy attractions; highlight is the annual Sandfest in July, a fun weekend of live music, children's activities, sandcastle building, and classic car show, (50min drive).
