We had a wonderful stay at this lake house! The home was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing family getaway. The views of the lake were beautiful, and we loved spending time on the deck and down by the water. It was the perfect mix of peaceful and convenient - close enough to town but still private and quiet. Our family made great memories here, and we would definitely come back again. Highly recommend!

Impeccable house to stay in

What a surprising gem in this TX neighborhood - A beautiful home on the water and a perfect place for my family to stay while attending my niece's wedding at Margot Hill. I was blown away at the view and the rooms were like staying in a 5 star hotel. Would recommend this place to anyone!

Perfect spot on the lake.

Perfect gathering place for our family to get together. The bunks in the bunkroom were probably not the best option for my 6' nephews, but we had a great time and the guys had fun playing pool into the night. Really nice outdoor space, including the boat dock, which was really easy to dock the boat. Screened in porch was nice, since the bugs could get pretty intense. Master bedroom was super roomy and the kitchen was very well stocked. Host even provided a very nice welcome basket. Wonderful way to spend the weekend following my daughters wedding.

My family and my best friend and her family stayed here for my daughters wedding. It was plenty large enough to host all of us plus gave me and my best friend plenty of space to bake her wedding cake and grooms cupcakes while still being apart of the conversations within the main living area. Had everything that we needed and was a great weekend.

The home was absolutely beautiful and perfect for my family. We're a family of 7 adults with 5 kids

We had a wonderful time during our stay. Such a beautiful and spacious, clean home that's very well stocked. I was very impressed and happy to have more than enough kitchen utensils, pots, pans, and dishes. The shower in the master bedroom is A M A Z I N G!!!! The view from the great room is beautiful. Definitely a place we would rent again.

Gorgeous Lake House

This house is well equipped with everything you need for a get away. The host has excellent communication. Caught a few fish off the dock. My family really enjoyed the sunroom and the fire-pit. House is very roomy. Definitely plan to stay again

The house was so clean when we got there. Stunning House on the Lake

Spent a fabulous weekend at Star Harbor with family ranging in age from 78 to 12 - and all had a great time. The house is beautiful and beautifully furnished - inside and out, and spotlessly clean. We are veteran VRBO travelers and don't think we've ever seen a kitchen (and wet bar) that were more fully stocked. The back deck (and double decker dock) offer great views - and s'mores at the firepit were another big hit. We are all anxious to come back to this property.

Perfect house. Perfect location.

We were a group of 6 (4 adults and 2 kids) and we had a fabulous stay. We had to find a new place quickly after our first place didn’t work out. The owner was so nice and got us all setup quickly. This house had everything we wanted. There was enough room for us to spread out and have our own space. The view was spectacular. Fishing off the dock proved to be plentiful. The firepit was so lovely to sit around at night. I cannot say enough about it. We would happily return in the future.

Magnificent Lakehouse!

This lakehouse is magnificent! The owners have beautifully decorated this home. So many special touches throughout - and stocked with everything would could need and more! The adults loved that their rooms had king beds that were so comfy!! The view from the great room, back deck and boat dock were awesome! The lake is low but that did not keep us from getting our boats outs and having a great time on the water. Plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the view. The communication with owners during our stay was great. There was not one thing that we did not like about this house. It was perfect for our family and was a memory making trip for sure. We hope to be able to come back!!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

This property is stunning! It is 100% completely as described, and we had an amazing weekend trip. The communication with the host was seamless and we always received very quick responses. We were welcomed with a beautiful snack basket and nice note, and the house was fully stocked with all that you would need to enjoy their home (trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels, linens, etc.) The beds and linens were extremely comfortable, and everything was professionally cleaned. The view is gorgeous and waking up and drinking coffee on the dock was worth every cent! The only thing this home lacks is a fire pit for a campfire at night! Thank you for an amazing stay, and we hope to come back to you next year!

Beautiful House and property

The house is exactly how it is described in the listing. The pictures are very accurate. The beds are comfortable with nice sheets and plenty of pillows. They supplied plenty of paper towells, toilet paper, shampoo, creme rinse, body soap, hand soap, dishwashing soap, and trash bags. The kitchen was well supplied with everything you needed. The pots and pans were the best we have seen at any property we have rented. There was plenty of room at the 2 nice size tables for all of the family. The house was very nicely decorated. The dock was awesome. We were able to use the whips to tie up our boat. They had plenty of shade with tables and chairs on the deck. The adults and kids loved the swing from the 2nd level deck. The fish cleaning station was fantastic! We caught plenty of fish from our boat but the kids used worms and caught catfish from the bank and pier. We had a wonderful, relaxing week. Cary-Elisa was an awesome communicator and left a gift basket for us.

Amazing Lake Front Property

Summarizing the high quality of our experience is difficult. I'll start with the responsiveness and assistance of our hosts. Over the top. Always answered whenever we called or texted with questions. We are a family of 11 ranging in age from 8 to 68. Everyone was impressed. My wife is so particular about cleanliness. She was delighted. The rooms were all so comfortable and well appointed. There is no feature forgotten. The lake view is spectacular from inside, on the porch or on top of the amazing deck. Are you into electronics - this place has got it. Massive TV in the great room as well as every bedroom in the house. Are you bringing a boat like we did - perfect spot. The private dock is large and supported our boat well. This place was a great place to swim in the lake and feel sheltered. If you want to cook, all the utensils are there - better than what we have at home. If you need 5 bedrooms, look no further. This place is perfect. We'll be back.

Can’t wait to return!

This property was stunning!! There are so many positives I don’t know where to start. We traveled with family and two small girls. We loved having coffee and relaxing on the back porch and screened porch. We fished from the dock every day and had s’mores at the fire pit after sunset. Everyone loved the property. Check in and out was a breeze and we will all definitely return!
