Awesome accommodation and location

This place was perfect for our group of 8. The location was very centralized and very easy to walk to Blackcomb and Whistler village.

We liked convenience of this location and great 4-floor layout for 2 families with teenagers. Size of each bedrooms was good, bathrooms clean, and beds were comfortable. Boot and glove dryer was a nice feature too.

Christmas in Whistler!

Absolutely amazing! Property is exactly how it is described, super clean and extremely comfortable. Absolutely couldn’t beat the location - 2min walk to the lifts, 5min walk to the village. It made for an amazing vacation and a perfect Christmas!

Perfect Location

This property was the easiest location, centrally located between Blackcomb gondola and the village. It’s way more convenient than it appears on a map!Property team was super responsive and accommodating before and throughout our stay.House is very cozy but comfortable. Furnished with everything we needed.

Location, location, location

Ideal property for multi-generational family. Central but quiet - 5 minutes walk to almost everywhere. 4 floors protected those with some daytime work from the smaller kids on the top floor

Great location and cozy home

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect, a quick walk to the Whistler gondola and even closer to Blackcomb through the back way. The home is well appointed, everything we needed was there. It was good floor layout for our 2 families. The management company was responsive to all our requests. Highly recommend.

Excellent Adventures at Whistler!

We brought our four adult children and their significant others with us for a week at Whistler. We couldn't have been more happy with our rental at The Gables! The unit was very clean and the booking through check-out process was so easy. The location was so perfect and was quiet and so easy to walk to everything. We hope to bring everyone back again in the future and will look to rent the unit again if we can!

Great location

Great location. Only complaint I wish we were told prior to arrival about parking spots available for us or that the listing would mention parking spots available. We had 10 guests and 3 cars. We had to pay for parking for the 3rd vehicle.

Fantastic property in an excellent location, centrally located between the main village and upper village near the Fitzsimmons Creek, with wonderful amenities. We arrived during a heat advisory, and while the unit doesn’t have AC, which made the daytime a bit challenging, everything else about our stay was exceptional. We would definitely book again.

Condo is overpriced for this property

Everything was fine, but we were underwhelmed with shabby bedding, bent or broken window shades, and generally cheap construction in all ways. But our final bill was over $10,000 for 4 nights. We were shocked.

Comfortable but cozy for 10

The property is in a great location. It Is very well equipped, nicely maintained, and is very close to the Blackcomb base and the gondola. It is a Little bit farther to walk to the Whistler base. We used all five bedrooms with four couples and two teenagers. The 3 bathroom situation was a little tight For all 10 of us, and several of us had to use a bathroom that was not on the same floor as the bedroom. In the listing the words ski In/ski out were used. This is not true for downhill skiing, but it could be true for cross country skiing. There are several flights of stairs and a tunnel to pass through in order to get to the closest downhill Lift. The parking situation was clearly explained but it was still a hassle to park two of the cars in the overnight parking at the convention center. There is no way to pay for multiple days so every day involved a walk to the parking garage to pay up for the next 24 hour period. The underground parking space that came with the unit was nice, and we were able to park one of the other cars in the lot by using the guest pass, but we noticed that there were dozens of empty spaces in that garage and the surface lot during our entire stay at the unit. Perhaps there would be a way for future guests to rent these empty spaces for a third or fourth vehicle rather than having to walk over to the convention center and back every day. Don’t get me wrong, the place is in a great location and it served us well for the comings and going’s of 10 very different skier/shopping/dining needs. The kitchen/living room/dining area was also large enough for all 10 of us to have several meals together and space to play music and games as a whole family gathering. It was also great to have four levels so that we could spread out and have some alone/quiet times when needed. Overall it was a memorable, pleasant experience for all of us.
