Its a great place to stay. Location is great. Very close to anything you'll need while at the beach. Very clean house. Troy is super friendly and was very accommodating. I will definitely stay there again.

Solid Location for Fishing Trip

I've stayed here twice and both visits have been great. I host an annual fishing trip for my friends each year in the area. I will be using this location going forward. Everything was fine except there were a few ants throughout the home. I would have given this a 5 star review without the ant issues.

Nice place in Atlantic beach

Thanks have enjoyed Atlantic beach and place. Some areas of fun —shevans park has been a lot of fun for our two year old, golf carting to the beach, and we did a boat cruise to shackeford island to see the horses and collect sand dollars..that also was a great activity. The place was comfortable and worked well for 2 grandparents to sleep on first floor while 2 adults and 2 kids slept on top floor.

The house was clean and we had a great experience. However, there were roaches which is unfortunate. Outside of that it was a lovely place to stay.

We asked them to come again after your stay, and they reported zero signs of roaches or bugs. -We pride ourselves in our responsiveness and complete guest satisfaction. Great home! Impeccable condition and nicely appointed. We were fishing out of Morhead City/ Big Rock Landing and this was a perfect location. This home had a beautiful view of the intercoastal marshland. The owner was very responsive and got back to us immediately when we had questions. I highly recommend this property.

Proximity to beach is misleading

We signed the guest book and get a call from the owner within an hour of checking out. Rude. Abrasive. Defensive. Laughable that the owner calls me, is abusive and hangs up. This is not on the beach despite information indicating otherwise. Ping pong and corn hole locked up. Bring your own soap and shampoo. TP ran out. And the offer to tip the cleaning personnel after detailed instructions placing the onus on the guest to clean upon departure is rich. This is a fine property so long as it is clear that you are not on the beach and the price reflects that fact. The owner wants beach rental rates. Beware.

The distances to the beach, shops, dining, parks, etc. are stated in our listing details. Additionally, the map on the listing shows our property is 4 blocks from the beach. We're sorry you missed this information while making your reservation. -Our outdoor activities are kept in a locked storage closet for security, with a key provided for guests. Instructions for closet entry are listed on the fridge and in our welcome book. -As is standard for vacation rentals, guests are asked to complete a few small tasks, like removing trash and running the dishwasher as part of checkout. We provide a starter kit of toiletries to ensure no one needs to make a trip to the store upon arrival, but we cannot guarantee there will be enough to last your entire stay. -We spoke with you at the start of your stay to confirm your check-in was smooth, encouraging you to call back with any questions. We were not made aware of any issues during your stay, only finding out from your guest book entry upon checkout. This makes it impossible for us to help resolve your concerns. Enjoyable house- love the decks

We had a multi-generational group staying in the house. It worked out perfectly and we had space for all. We especially enjoyed using the two decks that overlook the marsh. We lucked out and were able to watch a storm roll from the ocean to the sound on the upstairs deck. House was stocked with all you need in the kitchen. We utilized the golf cart option and it helped for taking quick trips around the island. Having sheets and towels there was wonderful. All were great quality and clean. The whole house was clean and very comfortable. The "kids" room was good for the kids to have their own space and watch movies and TV. There is no cable in the house- everything is a streaming service or free Roku TV. Keep this in mind if you are wanting to watch something specific while there. This did not impact us at all and we could watch whatever we wanted. Owners were responsive before, during and after the visit. They have taken the time to make their own guidebook for guests' use. We recommend staying in the Tipsy Flamingo.

Wonderful house in a great location!

The Tipsy Flamingo is a great house! It has everything you need for a perfect get away. Let’s start with the most important detail: cleanliness! The house was clean,both inside and out-even under the covered parking area. Second most important topic: comfortable beds! We used all of the bed rooms for our group of 7 and everyone said their bed was comfortable, with season appropriate linens and nice pillows. Third: the well stocked kitchen. We only cooked one meal there during our stay, but the kitchen was well stocked with nice cookware, dishes, utensils and cooking utensils. Lastly, this was a great location close to the circle in Atlantic beach and just a hop skip and a jump over the bridge to Morehead City. We traveled with a group of friends that we vacation with often (lots of Airbnb type lodging) and this destination is high on our list of favorites! Local Uber drivers were great and found the address easily. We rang in the new year at the Tipsy Flamingo, looking out at the beautiful salt marsh view! I’d give this visit a 10 out of 10.

Very Clean!

We have rented with this property management company before and have always been very impressed with the cleanliness of the entire space. With 2 children under the age of 3 that is very important to us. LOVED that there was a baby gate installed near the stairs and that there was a primary bedroom on each level. We plan to return to this same house next Fall.

Love Atlantic Beach and this rental!

Very nice condo. Great place to stay. Would stay there again in a heartbeat. Only thing negative we did think it was right on the beach. With that said Atlantic Beach public access is great and not far at all. We all had a great time!!

We traveled to Atlantic Beach to attend a wedding celebration. Found the Tipsy Flamingo while looking thru VRBO rentals and it looked really nice and met our needs for location and number of guests. The home was clean, very nicely decorated, and the contacts for the property were very responsive to questions. The rental includes everything with the exception of the obvious food and beverages. Definitely recommend this as a place to rent and enjoy Atlantic Beach.

Amazing new house with tons of space and in a great, central location!!

My family and I stayed at the Pink Flamingo for a weekend and it was perfect. There was 7 adults and 3 kids, we fit perfectly in the house with plenty of space and rooms to sleep! The kitchen/living area is nice and open, the porch has great views, and the entire house is perfectly designed. The owner's thought of all the small things from a pack-and-play, to a grill, outdoor shower, and plenty of kitchen prep items. The only downside to our stay was the limited/small bath towels and absence of beach towels, other than that the place was perfect! The golf cart was a nice addition but also totally not needed as the beach and shopping nearby is totally walkable!

Great stay!

This was a great Property and the owners were amazing. They were super flexible and accommodating. They sent over a repairman immediately when an issues came up. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to others!

Fun at Tipsy Flamingo

We enjoyed the home and the accommodations! It is in a great location for beach access. The house has everything you need and is beautiful. We went with a few couples for a first time trip and greatly enjoyed the place. The owner was extremely responsive! We def would go back.
