Excellent position for relaxing stay

Property is as described. Amazing view, right on the lake which made for daily walks around the lake easy to access. Property was comfortable. Great position close to West Lakes Shopping centre. Would definitely stay again.

Stunning Location

It was so beautiful staying here. The house was spacious and the main room had the most beautiful view.Waking up in the morning was lovely, the entire view was of the lake. Everything was clean & tidy. I’d highly recommend this place :)

Ideal holiday accommodation

An excellent place to stay. Beautiful view across the lake and walking path close by. Very short drive to Henley for a great promenade. House is light and airy and comfortable, and in a quiet neighbourhood. Ideal holiday accommodation.

Amazing property

This property was beautiful overlooking the lake. The view from the bedroom was lovely to wake up to. sue was great , we had trouble with the code to enter but she quickly fixed that for us with a phonecall , we loved our stay and Sue was happy to give us late check out as it was our wedding weekend . Would highly recommend this property

The property was in a fabulous location and laid out well. The upstairs air-conditioning was broken and we were informed that morning. The issue was the cleanliness of the property, the floors were dirty! Ie there was a vacuum cleaner so no bits on the floor, but feet were black from walking on it! The pillows smelt of sweat and overall the bedding didn’t feel clean despite washed sheets, I would say the pillows and quilt needed replacing.

Hello Patricia, thank you for taking time to review your stay and so sorry about the air conditioning. Yes the upstairs air conditioning stopped working just prior to your arrival and we did inform you immediately, I was very grateful of your understanding and thankful the weather was mild, also the downstairs air conditioning was working well. I’m sorry you found the pillows not right & floors dirty, I can assure you we wash the floors every couple of days when guests depart, change the pillows regularly and wash the pillow cases as well as protectors. I would have happily washed the floors and changed the pillows if you had let me know this was an issue. This is why our check in message asks guests to be in touch with any issues or concerns, I’m just a few minutes away and always happy to help, it is unfortunate when I learn of issues in a post stay review.

Fabulous location if you like water views, comfortable beds and host who care !

I have been to Adelaide before and stayed in the CBD but found our hotel was dark, small rooms with a view of the street. This is in total contrast to our waterfront, newly remodeled VRBO home. You step inside and the water is a stones throw from the living room- full windows to soak in the view. The kitchen is fully equipped - we decided to cook ourselves as we would not have found a restaurant with this view. The main floor was nice and cool but upstairs the bedrooms were hot. We could not figure out how to work the new aircon unit and it was about 8 pm so I called our host, Sue, and left a message. About 20 minutes later she arrived at the door with her son. As it was a new system they got out the manual and had it working in about 15 minutes. Sue apologized profusely as she was at a restaurant and didn't recognize my Canadian cell number. Once she realized it was us she left her dinner and flew over. The next day Sue put a bottle of sparkling wine and a bottle of white wine in the fridge. I wanted to give them 10 stars but 5 were the max available. If you are coming to Adelaide please don't miss this place. Thank you.

Great apartment close to everything

This apartment was perfect for our stay. Close to the beach; lovely lakeside view and very quiet surrounds. Well equipt apartment well stocked with loads of stuff I need not have bothered to bring myself. Bath was great for my daughter and beds very comfy. Sue was also really helpful with my questions.

Girls Weekend

Great place to be based for our girls weekend. Shopping at Harbour Town, Endota treatments at West Lakes and lots of dining options in the area. We had a nice relaxing time, if only we could have stayed longer. :)

Hello, welcome to Westlakes and Lakeside Mews. My name is Sue & I host this property for friends living in the beautiful Clare Valley, it is a much loved holiday home that was fully renovated in 2020 / 2021.
I am a 'paddler' so can be found on the water with my Dragon Boat club at AquaticReserve Westlakes 2-3 times a week, come on down and have a try, it's great for fun & fitness.
Also a B&B owner myself, I hope you enjoy this part of the world as much as we do!
