The Space:
This unit has been completely remodeled. Located on thrid flor (no elevators) this is the most spacious unit in Bahama Bay resort. It has 3 bedrooms and a sofa bed that can accomodate 8 people. Master bedrooms has a king size bed and huge bathroom with hot tub and shower and dual sink. The second bedroom has a queen bed and third bedroom is a Lilo and Stictch theme room with 2 twin beds. They both share the bathroom that includes 2 sinks, a shower and a bathtub. For toddlers we have a highchair and a pack and play. All smart TVs in all bedrooms and a big 65"screen tv in the living room. Kitchen has new appliances and quartz countertops and is fully equipped for all the needs and there is a dining table and brakfast bar This unit comes with a big patio with table and chairs. There are new washer and dryer in this unit. Free WIFI and cable. Keurig machine, games and books, you need to check it out!

The Neighborhood:
The Bahama Bay Resort and Spa boasts amenities like shared pools and hot tubs. Located on the shores of Old Lake Davenport, you can enjoy the sand beach, view wildlife from the pier, or relax in a hammock. The resort is also conveniently located near Polo Park East Golf Course. Located only 10 miles from Walt Disney World, there are plenty of local dining and shopping options nearby. Disney Springs offers over 100 shops and 60 restaurants along with daily and nightly entertainment. Gatorland has a free-flight aviary, petting zoo, animal shows, zip line, and a new Stompin' Gator Off-Road Adventure. For additional entertainment, Sea World is just 16 miles away, Universal Studios is 22 miles and for the younger guests, Legoland Florida is 23 miles away from the resort.

The Tradewinds Restaurant and Bar, located within the resort, is located poolside on the shore of Lake Davenport. With both indoor and outdoor seating, as well as a bar with lake views, guests can enjoy ice cold drinks, signature burgers and fries, and more!

The Market Place, located in the main Clubhouse, offers a wide selection of items from sundries and necessities to souvenirs, apparel, gifts, drinks, snacks, ice cream, and accessories.

Wonderful unit, tastefully decorated

Enjoyed staying in this tastefully-decorated, spacious condo unit. Loved the bedroom furniture and wall decor. The Lilo & Stitch room - adorable! Loved the balcony/lanai off each bedroom. A few concerns: 1) the water in the master tub was leaking a stream of water (by far not a drip) our ENTIRE stay and you could hear it running from the attached bedroom - we called to see if a plumber could be sent. Apparently, this has been running/leaking for weeks! We are from CO where water is precious. Absolutely mortified as to how many tubs of water were wasted during our stay & previous stays. I guess water usage is no big deal in the state of FL and is plentiful. 2) Make sure to bring your own soap and TP. We were provided just two bars and little TP. And there were only 3 of us in the unit - we went through that quickly. 3) We gave a slightly lower rating on the cleanliness as most of furniture was an off-white & needs a good cleaning. Nevertheless, we would consider staying again.

Incredible decor, Bahama Bay is great!

This property is updated and is absolutely beautiful. Like a pottery barn catalog. Furniture, textiles are lovely and mattresses were super comfy. Nice big tvs with plenty of channels. Bahama bay is an awesome location, the property is well maintained with great landscaping and amenities. We walked through the trails on the property multiple times a day and used the pool by the lake and restaurant Tradewinds. Property manager was thorough and responsive with checkin instructions. Easy to get to dining, Disney, grocery stores. Couple of negatives to give it 4 instead of 5 stars. It was cold and the thermostat was locked. I worked on the cute little desk in the master bedroom and I was freezing during the day - it was only 62 in the unit. So glad it warmed up but of course on the day we had to leave - and checkout was 10am. Would love noon. The outdoor screened in porch was spacious with morning sun, but compared to other units with vast views and privacy this unit overlooks a road. Be prepared to buy toilet paper, garbage bags, soap. Not ideal. They give you a couple cheap rolls of TP and 2 garbage bags, instruct you to buy more when you run out. There was no dish soap, sponge, or wash rag - provided 2 dishwasher pods - but would have liked a wash rag and soap. Charge $5 more a night and provide these basics. Also, some pots, pans and utensils were worn and could be replaced. Fridge was dirty like someone thawed meat and it oozes under the glass on one of the shelves and it wasn’t cleaned. And lastly, there was a hair collection in the Kleenex box in the bathroom - I looked in to see if they provided Kleenex and nope- but someone cleaned their hairbrush and shoved it in there.

Thank you for the feedback. Sorry, we were not aware there was a lock on the thermostat, but it has been removed now. We provide a starter kit of supplies and then guests should get their own, this is the same for all properties. For some guests who stay 3 nights, It's enough, for longer stays it's not, but we specify what kind of products you can expect. We don't leave Kleenex, it might have been by previous guests, sorry we didn't remove it. We thank you for staying with us! I

Great stay close to parks.

We enjoyed our three nights here. The property is newly remodeled and very comfortable. A small concern is the hot water runs out quickly so best to take quick showers and space them out if possible. Otherwise everything was great and we would definitely stay again.

Perfect

This property was exactly as the photos portrayed. It was very clean! Nice large televisions made it enjoyable to watch movies in our down time. Large bathrooms made it easy for 2 of us to get ready at the same time. One thing to note- there are not any oven mits so we had to use the kitchen towels to remove our food from the oven. There is a sidewalk directly across the street from the condo that leads to the clubhouse pool and splash pad areas. There is a lot of construction going in the areas around the complex which makes for some longer traffic times. All in all, we will stay here again.
