Cabin in the Clouds is conveniently located in a gated community off Highway 28 N just outside of Bryson City, NC. This cabin is just a few sort minutes from the Almond Boat Dock on Fontana Lake and a public lake access point that is popular for swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, canoeing, and more! The mountain biking mecca of the Eastern United States, Tsali Recreation Center is less than 10 minutes away. And the outdoor adventurous fun of the Nantahala Gorge like white water rafting and zip lining is only a 15 minute trip away. Bryson City is about a 25 minutes drive from this cabin where you can enjoy the charming shops, restaurants, and breweries or check out the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad train depot located downtown. You can also access the Deep Creek entrance into the GSMNP while in town. Deep Creek is packed with great hiking trails, beautiful waterfalls, and in the Spring and Summer months, tubing!

Access Road:
Cars and Most All Vehicles- Paved and hard packed gravel sections on a well maintained mountain road, Switchbacks and moderate to steep incline sections possible, no washed out section. The roads to this cabin are not considered 'Motorcycle Friendly'.

This spacious two story cabin is nestled in a grove of trees which provide privacy and add to its rustic charm. The cabin is surrounded by a spacious 360 wrap-around deck with plenty of seating options to take in the mountain air with your morning cup of coffee. Off the cabin's front corner, a distant mountain ridge peaks above the treetops. This same view can be enjoyed while relaxing in Polywood adirondack chairs by the gas fire table or from one of two second floor private balconies. Just steps from the ground floor master bedroom is a large hot tub with a Bluetooth speaker system. On the right side of the house, a large stone hearth with a gas fireplace provides the perfect spot to relax with friends or share a meal at the outdoor dining area after a day of exploring. Towards the rear of the cabin you'll find everything you need to make your culinary dreams come true, with a combination gas grill and pellet smoker. The setup comes complete with multiple pellet wood types in the provided dispenser, which doubles as a large work table for the grilling area. The true highlight of the outdoor cooking area is an Italian wood fired pizza oven. This unique feature offers an outdoor cooking experience that is guaranteed to make memories.

Stepping inside, you will quickly understand why this is one of the most popular cabins in the area. The spacious great room features cathedral ceilings with a full wall of chalet style glass windows, which bathe the cabin?s rich exposed log beams in daytime sunlight. In front of a massive stone fireplace are comfortable leather sofas with plush throws, ready for you to curl up with a good book or to settle in to watch your favorite movie. The chef-inspired kitchen is stocked with everything you need to create gourmet delights. The cabinets are filled with everything from spices to specialty culinary tools, including high end cookware, a mixer, waffle iron, and even an ice cream maker. The kitchen features a modern gas range with convection oven, as well as a dishwasher. Located just off the great room is the spacious master bedroom with a king bed, set with luxurious bedding. The bedroom is highlighted by the elegant wall mounted gas fireplace, perfect to warm yourself by after a late night soak in the spa -- found just outside the bedroom?s doors. The main level also features a full bath with luxury linens and amenities, as well as a utility room with available washer and dryer. If you must log in to your work email while away, a desk and chair are located in a nook beside the staircase, and the cabin is connected with WiFi internet.

Up a flight of stairs, a landing opens onto a large loft which overlooks the great room below and features spectacular sunrise views out of the large windows. To the left is a spacious second bedroom, with a queen bed set with luxurious bedding, and a private balcony. A second floor full bathroom is stocked with plush linens and natural botanical amenities. A new queen sleeper sofa makes great additional sleeping space for guests that need just a little extra room. The loft is also home to a slate top pool table with all of the accessories. On the rear wall, open the custom cabinets to reveal a regulation size table tennis court, which can be easily installed over the pool table. A small table in the corner is the perfect spot for a game of chess or an afternoon building a puzzle. The loft also features a television and the arcade game, Big Buck World.
