The room and communication with host were very good. But, I did not see anywhere in the listing to expect loud, startling, bass beat in your chest noises all night long. This place would be ideal for a young couple looking for an all night party. I actually had to find other accommodations as it was so intolerable.

Great location!!

We have stayed at the Grand Waikīkī 2 years ago and love the cleanliness of the building and the great location. The only problem for us was the street noise and the loud music from the bar on the 2nd floor.

Great location to lots of fun things to do! Beach is just across the block! Very limited bathroom space was the only issue. No place to put bathroom items that are needed for self care.

Great location but very loud at all hours!

You can't beat this location with such easy access to the beach, restaurants, shops, and good coffee! However, this room is just above a bar restaurant that cranks music late into the night and just off of a very busy street where buses stop and release their airbrakes. There was also a parking lot just across from the room that motorcycles used to hangout and see how loud the could get their exhausts to sound. If you are a light sleeper, this is not the place for you.

Great time at a great location

We really enjoyed staying here during our time in Waikiki. The location is great and close to the beach. We utilized some of the free overnight parking at the park across the street. We would definitely stay here again if we come back!

GREAT STAY

Enjoyed my stay very much. It was close to the venue where my conference was, and had everything I needed. I could hear the music from the night club 2 floors down, but not enough to cause loss of sleep, etc. I had a very minor issue with the TV, but the owner was on it immediately, and it was resolved. I would definitely return.

Beautiful views of Diamond Head from the balcony and beach. Short walk to the beach one ocean with a Starbucks on the corner across the street from the beach. Who could ask for anything more.

Perfect for our short stay

We wanted to add a few days to a business trip to Honolulu. This was the perfect, non-corporate choice. The place was clean, great views and super close to the beach. Just upstairs from Hula's too! I would stay here again!

Convenient location

Very easy to get to everything in Waikiki! The property needs some work but the views off the sundeck are amazing and the staff at the bar on the second floor are very nice and provide great service.

Beautiful view from balcony

This room has a beautiful view of the zoo and ocean from the balcony. It is a small room but very clean and has a small kitchen and fridge. The location is perfect. Shopping and restaurants are all in walking distance. You can hear the sound of the bar in the building at night but I was so tired that I fell asleep in no time. The sound of the cars and trucks woke me up in the morning just when I wanted to get moving for the day. Overall my friend and I loved the place and would definitely comeback next visit.

Great Economy Stay

This place is an excellent stay for the money. Yes, the night club plays music until late and one night it was extremely loud until after 1 am. Just run the AC to drown it out and the location can be loud with street noise but you are so close to beach and great eats. Super clean, so for the cost, it’s well worth it!

The host was fine as far as being a nice person, attentive and answering questions throughout the whole experience unfortunately, the property both the unit and the grounds were in quite disarray. The windows didn’t open. The freezer door didn’t close so everything melted the they were missing lightbulbs The microwave did not work as well. It was very wonky. You needed to close it and open it close it and open it quite a few different times to make it stay to make it work. This was disappointing as well. There were also drawers under the bed, but turns out they weren’t for the tenants so there was limited space for us to put our own belongings. Unfortunately there were chairs to use at the beach, which was fantastic, but they were old, rusty, dirty, and filthy so that was a disappointment to us as well it was very dusty all over the place. Additionally, we were given the wrong Internet code or Wi-Fi, but that ended up being corrected quite quickly as the note was different than the email that was sent so that’s all its own problem, but however, we were also given the wrong code to the pool, which ended up being a good thing as The property was quite filthy. The pool was dirty. The chairs were filthy. It didn’t look like they’ve been cleaned at all the staff at the front desk were different people every single time every day and they were very unhelpful. Each one of them were very unhelpful to questions that we asked. The one good thing is the location was good.

Perfect property

This property was exactly as listed and all we needed! It was the perfect location and close to everything. We were able to walk to everything in Waikiki. We did rent bikes, took a trolley, and used Uber for the locations further out. The check in process was easy, the host was available to chat even though it really wasn’t needed, check out was easy, and most of all we felt secure at this location. Would highly recommend this place!

Nice quarters!

This was advertised correctly. The reviews are also in line with our stay. The property is located at the end of Waikiki and by the zoo. Long walks to our favorite places but so enjoyable to people watch. The one complaint is the noise from the restaurant located on the second floor. If we didn’t have air conditioning to help drown out the noise it would have been hard to sleep.

Loved Our Stay!

This property was just perfect for us! Bed is comfortable, kitchenette was great for light meals and snacking, AC was cold. All very clean. The greatest advantage this property has is it's location. The view of Diamond Head from the balcony is awesome. The beach is steps away. Bus stops are very close by and dining and shopping can all be found within walking distance. It was great being here!
