We absolutely loved staying at your home. The house was perfect for our group of five couples. Each couple had a bedroom, and there are three bathrooms. There was also plenty of parking for our five vehicles. The house was also very clean and had everything we needed. If you are coming into town to go to Oaklawn, this home is 0.6 miles from the track and casino. If it had not been raining, we could have walked. The host is very kind and responds very quickly. Our group will definitely plan another weekend at this home. Definitely five stars.

Didn’t hear from the host. We all was disappointed that the garage wasn’t in working order and the Parkng to get to the back wasn’t accommodating for our small enclosed trailers that had our motorcycles.We really wanted to have our motorcycles in a garage for night parking that is why we picked this house.Other than that house fine for all couples. It was Halloween and the front porch light didn’t work. We had a few trick or treaters luckily we brought candy.

We were there for the horse racing and this house was in an ideal spot. It was a beautiful neighborhood and everything in the house was perfect. Would book there again.

After coming home and questioning myself as to whether or not I read the reviews on this place before I reserved it, I read them. The last several are pretty good but then looking back farther than the last few months there are many complaints that we too have which tells me and my group that the issues have been noted multiple times and absolutely nothing done about them. That much money a night was a terrible disappointment to find out this home is not as described. Won’t be returning to this location.Things Very Noticeable Several rooms and one bathroom had lights that either needed bulbs or didn’t work at all. Sink in master bathroom slow to drain Also the tub and sink in upstairs bathroom slow to drain. Water would stand in sinks for hours at a time.Upstairs room to left needs light bulbs. This room also has a plug beside bed that the plate is just laid on it. No screw to hold it in place.Chairs to dining table were worn and torn so badly foam showing with one a hazard due to no support in seat area and table leg broken.Living room light was hanging by wire and dimmer switch would not turn on without pushing it multiple times.Lock box not working so key was hidden under vase on porch and we were given no prior notice. Had to end up calling Janet.Sunroom windows have painters tape to keep closed. Downstairs Bathroom shower rod is not attached and fell without warning Sheets on bed in master bedroom were torn at each corner.

Perfect for guys trip to oaklawn

We love the space, the room in the great room for all of us to hang out and the short walk to oaklawn. Plus communication with the property manager was excellent. i needed to call her and she answered when we needed her.

St. Patrick’s Getaway

We enjoyed Oaklawn and were walking distance! Crosswalk Bar, for watching the Hogs bring home a win, was a great place to enjoy some drinks. The house was perfect for our needs. Plenty of rooms and beds for all guests. Great location. Highly recommend!!

Good Times

Four couples (and a college-age daughter) thoroughly enjoyed an Oaklawn racing weekend at this property. It was roomy, comfortable, and perfectly situated to the track. We enjoyed our stay, and recommend it to anyone who expects the track to be good to him/her.

Great stay.

The stay was great, nice and roomy. The neighborhood nice and quiet. The bedrooms were great. The showers in all the bathrooms had great water pressure. The beds were really comfortable We were able to walk to oaklawn race track. We had a friend who greeted us everyday. This cute black and white kitty. All in all the stay was amazing and we will definitely try and book this spot next year.

Perfect for races

We had a wonderful time. Location was wonderful. Never had to interact with owner because everything was easy to check in and out. Home had no issues that we noticed. We had a great weekend at the races. Would stay again. If I had to say anything negative, price for cleaning fee is high and floors were not clean.

Great stay for a large group

We had a nice stay! It was nice having several bedrooms and options for the kids! Space was great! I was able to communicate with Janet before hand by texting her! We never felt unsafe, and the kids enjoyed having enough space to not feel crowded! Make sure to bring extra towels if you like using a clean one after 1/2 uses and don’t want to do laundry and bring an extension cord or surge protector for extra outlet options for bedrooms! Otherwise we had no complaints!

Family Trip

Upon arrival we had issues getting into the property. We called the guest contact it took over an hour for someone to get there. It was a hot day! My bedroom next to the kitchen had no door for privacy. No door means there was no way to keep the air in the room. The TV didn't work in the only bedroom that had a TV not did any outlets in the room. The bedroom that my brother slept in also on the first floor light didn't work in the bathroom. The outlet on the porch didn't work not did the ceiling fan on the porch. I sent an email to the host telling her to send the maintenance but no response. As far as location it was close to everything. I will be back but not to this property.
