Selecting a date where someone is checking in/out will qualify as a same-day flip or same-day turnover and *may* be subject to late check-in (6PM) or early (9AM) check-out because this house can take 6-7 hours to clean. Please inquire first if you are confused. The calendar shows up differently depending on the device and platform you're viewing from.

If you request or instant book a same-day flip (same day as a guest checking out/checking in), you understand that early check-in will not be an option. If the calendar is confusing, please message us first before instant booking.

Please do not message us asking to 'notify you if someone cancels.' I never have guests cancel. If we don't have your dates available, inquire about booking for another season or other dates.

Welcome to my favorite property for groups and families: Luxury in the City (Charlotte Vacation Rental). This stunning mansion features 8 large bedrooms and 8.5 bathrooms right in the heart of Charlotte. This home is the largest one on its street and the neighborhood is extremely quiet so we ask that guests respect this at all times.

This home is perfect for families looking for a safe staycation, companies looking for a creative retreat or meeting space, or weddings needing accommodations for the bridal party. Handicap accessibility is available by a portable ramp (located in the garage) and use of the in-home elevator. Bedrooms do not have televisions to encourage fellowship in the main areas of the home. The main floor living room, master bedroom, gym, and home theatre have smart televisions with access to Netflix, Disney Plus, Roku, etc. Guests can use personal logins for premium channels and other VOD services. The Movie Theatre has a double-sided whiteboard, laptop stand, and HDMI/Airplay connections to display presentations for our corporate clients.

There are two full kitchens in this home as well as a main floor living area, a downstairs game/lounge room, a home theatre, and a gym room. All bedrooms have a private/ensuite bathroom except for the 3 Queen bonus room. This room will share the hallway bathroom with the upstairs King room. The master bedroom has an attached room for small kids (twin bunks) and the upstairs navy queen room has an attached infant room with a pack-n-play and baby mattress. There is also a toddler bed that's available in the home as well. Additional Baby Furniture (stroller, high chairs, car seats, etc.) should be brought with you or rented through BabyQuip or BabyGear.

The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, coffee makers, utensils, plates, bowls, etc. Everything you need to make meals for your group. The gym room has a TV, treadmill, free weights, yoga mats, exercise balls, and resistance bands. Cleaning supplies and sanitizers are provided for each group as well.

The Pool is a 16ft x 32ft vinyl lining unheated inground pool with a large concrete patio surrounding it. The pool is open from May 1 to end of October. It cannot be opened early or extended late for anyone or any reason. It is not heated. Pool is cleaned twice weekly during the Summer (Tuesday and Friday). There is a hot tub that's open year-round and it is heated. It is cleaned twice weekly during the summer and once weekly during the off-season/winter months but not during inclement weather (hurricane, storm, ice, snow, etc.) The fenced backyard also has a gas grill, gas firepit, and cornhole. There is grass around the fence in the backyard.

**Please Note: Large events are NOT allowed in this home.*** What is a large event? Anything exceeding the sleeping capacity of the home, sending invitations, renting tables/chairs, setting up speakers, etc. are all parts of an event. We can recommend event venues for your event needs because this home can only be used for accommodations. This home is located in a quiet neighborhood and we ask that guests respect that at all times. Unfortunately, we do cannot take bookings for small events or meetings on VRBO or Airbnb.

We prefer to have at least 24 hours between rentals but understand that demand doesn't always make that possible. Please read our disclaimer about booking same-day flips. If you choose to book on the same day as someone checking out, please read the info above about it.

All linens and towels are cleaned and rotated with fresh sets in between rentals. Beds are made and clean towels are provided upon arrival. Personal toiletries are not provided.

Exterior cameras are located on this property for security purposes. There are no cameras located inside. The home is on keyless entry and has contact-free check-in. We use GetDuve for online check-in and guest ID verification prior to providing check-in instructions. A floorplan is available to guests upon request or at the time of booking (in the confirmation email).

All groups will require damage insurance + deposit ($500 pre-authorization) for reservations. The damage deposit is automatically refunded as long as there is no damage or missing items. There's an additional fee for large groups. The minimum age to rent is 25. Guest ID is verified prior to check-in.
