Set on ten rolling acres and located only 3.2km to the historic town of Branxton, 20 km to the Hunter Valley Gardens and 15 minutes drive to popular wineries, restaurants, award winning golf courses, cellar doors and concert venues of Hunter Valley Wine Country.
Located in the peaceful enclave of Lower Belford known for its rural vistas and views of the Barrington Ranges, Braydon House is big on the âwowâ factor and is your next ideal stay in regional NSW. With The Yoga Shed located opposite, itâs the perfect place for a special work retreat or, a stay to enjoy mediation and classes and allow your mind and body to relax.
Custom designed for up to 10 guests, this five bedroom, three bathroom property with combustion fireplace and games room is the perfect spot for your next retreat. Located only two hours from Sydney and 45 minutes along the Hunter Expressway from Newcastle, you will certainly enjoy the best of the Hunter Valley at your door. Beautifully styled and appointed throughout, this high quality property will not disappoint with a mix of contemporary and industrial interior furnishings. The proportions of this property has rooms for all and takes open plan living to a new level. With massive adjoining main living and dining spaces, take in the soaring cathedral ceilings, hand-made barn doors and polished concrete floors and loads of natural light which make you feel a sense of relaxation and calm as soon as you enter. At one end you will find a huge open kitchen with Smeg appliances and everything a travelling gourmet would need. On the other end you will find a spacious dining and entertaining zone with views. Braydon House is kept comfortable all year round with overhead fans, reverse-cycle air conditioning as well as a wood-burning combustion fire to stay toasty in the winter. The main bathroom is generous in proportion with double sinks, shower and free standing bathtub.
Wide covered porches on the front and back provide a warm country welcome and the perfect place to BBQ. Sit with a fine glass of Hunter wine and talk well into the evening as you watch the neighbouring cattle graze in the setting light. Entertaining small groups of family and friends is key to the experience at Braydon House which also offers a fun, mini barn style games room featuring a pool table and foosball to challenge even the keenest of players. This games room also provides an additional bathroom including shower facilities for guests. The property also has super laundry if you must do domestics during your holiday stay.
There is a brand new swimming pool installed just opposite the games room, for guests to enjoy and take a dip and cool down in the warmer months only (October to April).
Braydon House is also located opposite the Yoga Shed, guests can partake in a class or, plan a retreat with friends to stretch out and relax every day.
With the convenience of the historic Branxton township and new Coles at Huntlee only a few minutes drive down the road, youâll want for nothing and be wishing you had booked to stay longer at Braydon House.
