Great layout

We were surprised to find the house was later out great! A master right off the kitchen, 2 bedrooms on the other side downstairs across from each other with a bathroom in between and the upstairs large bedroom with bathroom and additional lounge space. The upstairs even had an empty closet great for another space. It was also a corner lot next to forest so there was some fun exploring outside. Great find!

Great potential but needs improvement

PROS: The location and size of the property was great for 12 guests. Unit has A/C which works great for the downstairs, but upstairs bedroom is very warm and does not get cooled down with it. Ping Pong table in garage. CONS: We did run into a few issues. The cabin was not cleaned well. We found food crumbs on the dining table and chairs. There were cracker crumbs on top of one of the bedspreads in the bunk room. It also appeared to not have been vacuumed since the last guests were there. We only had 4 towels in the upstairs bathroom that smelled moldy and no hand towels/wash clothes when we first arrived. I did find an additional 9 towels, 3 hand towels and 2 wash clothes in the dryer. There were no trash bags or paper towels for the kitchen so I did go buy a set and left there. Upstairs bathroom shows in the listing and picture as a full bathroom with shower but unfortunately there was no shower head. It looks like there used to be one and they just removed it. This made it very difficult in mornings to only have 2 operating showers with 12 people getting ready. Listing shows air hockey table but there was not one. Overall I think this place has potential to be great but it is lacking in cleanliness and just not a very welcoming feeling when you need to unload/wash towels yourself and purchase basic supplies when you first arrive.

Not our favorite VRBO rental

We were disappointed after a five-hour drive not to be able to check in at the scheduled 4:00 time. Housekeeping had just arrived and had no record of our reservation. Several hours later, we finally entered the cabin. For future guests thinking about renting, please note: Bring extra towels! Prepare to be greeted with a less than stellar garage. Bring kitchen knives as the ones in the knife block are as sharp as a butter knife. Check utensils - A dirty BBQ tong set had been returned to the drawer. The BBQ grill was so dirty we never used it. Beware of the bench seat in the dining room - it tips easily and judging by the hole in the drywall, someone else tipped over before we got there. Bring batteries for the remotes. Bring extra everything!!!! There is no Air Hockey table, only ping pong in the garage. We left new paddles as the ones there had seen better days. With that being said, the cabin has potential. It has new flooring and carpet, and the furniture is comfortable. The upstairs Master bathroom could be enhanced with a shower head - even a handheld adapter would have been nice.

Convenient location, but not clean

The place it’s self was set up just fine for our family but after arrival, I noticed a bunch of dead flies and spiders on the ground, and broken glass kitchen. I have a 10 month old that crawls around and puts everything in her mouth so this was disappointing and dangerous. In the house description there was a high chair listed but not one on site. Not a big deal, but we would have brought one if we had known. The house had 1/4 roll of toilet paper between 3 bathrooms. I never expect for a place to have an unlimited supply, but for a family of 10, it would be nice to have to have a backup. The bathrooms were not wiped down and still had a bunch of hair on the counters from previous reservations. The coffee pot had not been cleaned out since used previously use and the inside was completely covered in mold. The mattresses and pillows did not have protectors on them and we noticed blood and urine on the when we stripped the bed as per house rules on check out. The owner seemed unaware of these issues. Perhaps the management company isn’t paying attention but we will not be staying there again.

My Christmas present to kids in our family was this cabin stay. They all got to come up and experience snow. We built a snowman. Restuarants were good, particularly the Asian place at the west end of town. kids loved their lo mein. Sunrise, altho only one run, i skied there 3 days and did not get bored. snow was in great condition.

Great Atmosphere

My friends and I stayed Fri through Sun. The house was perfect for our group of friends. Owner was very nice and responsive to questions. Check in was super easy. House was very clean. Loved hanging on the front patio enjoying the cooler weather.

Great family cabin!

Loved this cabin home for our holiday weekend away with family! Quiet, safe neighborhood. Kids loved the quick zip line outside, ping pong table in the garage, air hockey upstairs + tv area. Our youngest thought the toy chest closet was great too! Beds, linens and towels were great quality. Kitchen was well stocked but could use an electric griddle for pancakes. Our only downsides were the garage was quite messy when we arrived. I spent an hour cleaning it up so the kids could use it. Also there was only a tv in the downstairs master and upstairs loft making it difficult for some to have access. Adding a tv to the downstairs family area would be wonderful. Overall a great home.

Good place for a group

Beautiful house on a quiet end of Lakeside-Pinetop. Got potential for a larger group who could use the extra beds or places to use sleeping bags.

Beautiful setting near skiing and hiking

Nice accommodations for 3 families. Hiking, skiing and sledding near by. Visit the Munich Biergarten. Stocked kitchen and laundry. Bring hand soap and Tupperware. Priced very well. Easy check in and communication with property manager.
