Park your car when you stay at this bright and beachy condo because you can walk (or ride the free trolley!) to all the attractions you'll want to visit. A small family or friends will have a fun-filled vacation in this resort that offers a private access to one of Florida's best beaches along with a full assortment of fun activities within the resort.

You'll feel instantly at home when you enter this one-bedroom, one-bathroom condo overlooking the resort lagoon. The spacious living area keeps everyone connected whether they are preparing snacks in the kitchen, playing a game around the dining table or watching a movie on the flat screen TV. The comfortable couch makes out into a bed for two guests (children welcome!). The bedroom boasts a water view with king size bed, flat screen TV and en-suite bathroom. If you feel like enjoying your morning coffee outdoors, just step out on your screened-in lanai overlooking the lagoon, or better yet, walk just a few steps over to the beach for some early morning beachcombing. For meals, you have a wide range of delicious choices close by or if you'd like to dine in, you have a well-equipped kitchen with all stainless steel appliances where you can prepare your favorite recipes. There's also a picnic table and BBQ grill located directly in front of the condo in case you want to grill some burgers or that fish you hope to catch.

Runaway Bay is a 13 acre resort complex full of amenities for you and your family or friends to enjoy while on vacation. Resort amenities include: the largest heated pool on Anna Maria Island, a tennis court, shuffleboard, bocce, a fitness center, BBQ grills, kayak launch and a fishing pier. Close by the resort you'll find jet skiing rentals, boogie boarding, parasailing and more. There is also a free trolley that will take you all around the Island. Runaway Bay has a covered trolley stop located at the entrance to the resort.

The property was nice & a convenient location right by the pool & good walking distance from the beach. The biggest downside for us was the patio, The door from the living room side had a big piece of tape on it that said DO NOT OPEN & the door from the primary bedroom does not open & close properly. It’s very loud & you have to use 2 hands & almost shimmy the door open & closed so it was essentially not useable for our trip. My husband is typically sleeping early in the morning when I would want to sit on the patio so I could not use it or it would have woken him up. A patio or balcony is something I look for in a vacation rental so if you don’t need it you’ll be fine. The door should either be fixed or the listing updated to be accurate. The unit was fine otherwise.

Love AMI and Runaway Bay is a lovely place to stay. Met the owners and they were lovely and accommodating. I would consider replacing the patio chairs for something a little more comfortable and sturdy, maybe a bistro table as well. Lovely stay...

Very cute condo. Functional layout. Nice decor. Could update the bathroom towels. Excellent location to the pool and beach. The dock on the inter coastal was very enjoyable. Other residents and guests were very cordial. Great location on the island for restaurants souvenir shopping.

On line check-in was very easy. Unit is nicely furnished. Hardwood floors throughout. Close to the pool. Very short walk to the beach. Awesome beach! Close to restaurants and shopping.
