Situated over two levels and is conveniently located with direct access to Korora Oval which is perfect for the kids to play and run around, also a short 240 metre stroll to the water’s edge of Bob Cairns Reserve or 350 metre walk to the shopping village which has a butcher, coffee shops, IGA grocery store and boutique shops.
The house features ducted air conditioning throughout, a spacious open plan lounge / dining area that flows out to the enclosed grass yard which is perfect for the children to play.
The property provides a Smart TV, Wi-Fi and a fully equipped kitchen with complete cooking facilities and dishwasher. The main bedroom is located on the downstairs level, this bedroom has a walk-in robe, ensuite with shower, toilet and vanity, ceiling fan and second TV. The other three bedrooms are located on the second level, there is also the main bathroom with a bath, shower, vanity, and separate toilet.
Also located downstairs is the internal laundry, the laundry is fitted out with a front loader washing machine and dryer and third toilet, there is also a clothesline outside.
There is enough room for a small boat to be parked in the driveway and a double garage with internal access available - the gas BBQ is also kept in the garage, making this easy to wheel out when you want to use this.

Family holiday
My family of 6 adults and 3 children stayed here, it was roomy enough for all of us, Location was great short stroll to cafe, take away food shops . Great beach 200 metres away for the kids with a little playground as well. Very quiet location but only 10 minute drive into Nelson Bay.

House was great. Was disappointed after booking to find out the extra conditions. No sheets or towels, and key pick up and drop off 7km away. These should be in shown before people make the booking. I have never stayed at one where it is so difficult to access the keys.

I’m sorry to hear you were disappointed by some of the conditions. We do clearly advertise on all booking platforms that linen is not included with this property, and we always encourage guests to review these details prior to confirming their stay.
Regarding key collection, we like to personally meet and greet our guests on arrival, which is why keys are collected from our office. This also gives us the opportunity to answer any questions guests may have before heading to the property.

Nice but dirty
The house was nice we liked it. But there was too much spiders and cockroaches in the corners of the bedrooms. The internet was cutting off. The fridge wasnt keeping the items cold. For the price we paid, we expected for there to be clean sheets already provided for us. Not happy with this. We all had to bring our own bedsheets 10 people, and this was very annoying. We dont like this idea.

We are glad to hear you liked the house at 8a Foreshore Drive. Sorry to hear you had issues with spiders and cockroaches. All holiday properties have regular pest sprays, being on the coast and the recent humid weather, tends to bring bugs out despite this. We would have been happy to provide you with spray and/or baits for this. We have not had any previous guests or the guests after your stay, report any issues with the WiFi or the fridge. We would have been happy to assist with this if you had contacted us during your stay.
The majority of our holiday properties do not have linen provided, with the option for guests to hire it or bring their own. This is listed on the advertisement for the property. Alternatively, you can search for linen provided properties. Thank you for taking the time to pass on your feedback.
