Would not recommend

The condo was extremely dirty. The reviews of furniture and peeling wallpaper are absolutely true. I would have dealt with that. The condo definitely wasn’t cleaned before our stay. We were told to call the front desk which we did. Hardly helpful at all. We checked in at night and didn’t realize until the morning that someone before us had broken glass all over the balcony (and tracked some inside which is how we found it) And it was a lot of glass. Called the desk again who sent someone with a tiny broom for 3 minutes. We then asked for everything to also be vacuumed but that didn’t go well either. This entire condo needs a deep cleaning

Very disappointing experience due to the management company

The property overall was just okay. I read some reviews about peeling wallpaper, loose towel bars, stained couches, etc. All true. I’m surprised nothing was done to fix these issues. The area around the property is a bit rough. I definitely did not feel comfortable being outside by myself or sending my teenagers out alone. But the worst part was the management company, BW Miami. There were issues based on the fact I used a different credit card to book the condo, and at one point, they indicated I would have to pay a 5% fee to rebook it using a credit card in my name. Then when we went to check in, we discovered they had canceled our reservation. They eventually reinstated it, but it took several phone calls and what felt like a long time before we could get into our unit. I will not book with BW Miami again, nor will I stay at the Hyde. Do not recommend.

Hyde Beach house 3 bdrm condo.

Overall we were very pleased with this property! It is a beautiful condo, loved the high ceilings & huge balcony. However I do feel it could use a deep cleaning, the couches and carpets had some stains, nothing horrible, but enough to notice, the windows were a bit dirty as well as the glass balcony, and it just seemed it needed better cleaners. The worst thing was we found a pair of womens underwear left in one of the bedrooms....that was really upsetting & gross, but funny to my teenagers! Lol. So right there it shows the quality of the cleaners! It was stocked well with dishes & utensils, but not nearly enough household supplies...like toilet paper, paper towels etc....luckily Walmart was right across the bridge, but it just sucks to have to buy that kind of stuff on vacay. The set up was definitely perfect for us, it was my husband and I with our two boys ages 16 & 19 , and then one of their girlfriends, so it worked our perfectly! The pool area is wonderful! But get up early and claim your chair with a towel, because the spots fill up fast! The location is very close to beach, but not on beach, but just a quick walk across the street. I wish there was more to do in area, we didn't realize the popular boardwalk area was over 2 miles away. There is no where to park a car, so we didn't get a car since we didn't want to pay valet fee every day, but there is a transportation called the Circuit that we used often & was good. We really did enjoy our stay, if I had to rate I would say 3.5 stars out of 5...just because I feel it needs to be cleaner.
