Welcome To Superior Street Serenity, by Hiawatha's Hideaway vacation homes! An inviting, comfortable upscale apartment that sleeps 6 guests max! 1 spacious bedroom with queen bed, 1 spacious den with 2 twin beds, trundle style, and a full size sofa sleeper with thick mattress in the living area. Full kitchen with all you need to cook your meals during your time in Munising. A/C, high end beds and bedding, two flat screen TV's with streaming access and of course WiFi! We are located up a flight of stairs (16 steps) and the only vacation apartment in the building. Just walk in the main level entrance and up the stairs. If you have problems with steps this might not be for you. On the same block you will find a drinking establishment, food truck, Barbeque, Shaved Ice, DQ, Gift Shops. And a short walk to Lake Superior, Bay Shore Park, Pictured Rock Cruises, coffee and more!

Availability:

We are available nightly from April 15 to November 15 - street parking available

From November 15 to March 15 there is a 28 night minimum stay. The cleaning fee will be higher depending on length of stay (please ask) and security deposit may be higher. Guest will make parking arrangements with parking lot manager next door.

Munising Trip

We had a great time on our Munising trip! The location of this rental was perfect, everything was cute and so clean. The kitchen had everything we could need and the bathroom supplies were perfectly stocked.

Quiet place for vacation

This was a great place to stay and get away for a while. We stayed 8 nights and it was centralized for everything we wanted to do. Just a block off of the Main Street, we were able to walk to everything we wanted to in Munising. We went hiking around the area, plus took day trips to Marquette and Tahquamenon Falls.

Comfortable, Pet-Friendly Stay with Great Access to Pictured Rocks

Great stay for a couple of nights while exploring Pictured Rocks! The location was a bit hard to find at first—just one door between an auto parts store and a mental health center, with stairs leading up to the unit. That said, it was quiet, especially on weekends. Parking was easy; even when it got busy, I always found a nearby spot.Pet-friendly, which was perfect since I had my small dog with me. There were plenty of sidewalks and trash cans, and the area felt welcoming for pets. The Gallery Coffee Shop was a favorite—great coffee and dog-friendly inside! Driftwood Deli had a delicious chicken bowl, and Pictured Rocks Pizza was definitely worth the wait on a busy night.The apartment itself was clean, comfortable, and spacious. Laundry was a major bonus with detergent avaliable as well. There’s AC in the main living area and the master bedroom. I left the trundle bed door open at night to help cool that room down. Plenty of space to relax after long days of hiking and sightseeing.The booking process was a bit unusual. After reserving on Vrbo, I was emailed extra paperwork to complete and return, plus separate check-in instructions. Not a huge issue, but it added a bit of hassle during a long road trip. Would be great if everything could be streamlined through the platform.Overall, a great place to stay with easy access to local restaurants, trails, and activities. The host was responsive and easy to communicate with. I’d definitely stay again!

Quaint and well kept apartment

My husband and I enjoyed our visit to Munising. This apartment is very centrally located within walking distance to so many shops, restaurants, bars etc we walked to the pictures rocks cruise
driving to the sites was also very convenient. The apartment is well kept, clean and spacious and cozy. The kitchen is well stocked with what you need for cooking if you’re planning any meals. I was also very happy they allowed our dog. Our dog is crate trained and she did just fine with being put away when we were exploring. Thanks for providing a great place to stay for our getaway!

great location

I grew up in Munising and found this a great location to all the activities I participated in over the 4th of July week. There was a very small problem and it was taken care of in minutes! They have some very large white towels but I would have liked a beach towel to sit on at the park. I didn't want to use the lovely white ones.

Attentive hosts and lovely apartment.

We loved this second story apartment. Extremely clean and well thought out. Had every thing we needed. The bed was comfortable. Very nice linen and loved the oversized towels. Felt just like home. Walki g distance from nice restaurants, and central location to several waterfalls, trails and boat tours. Host was very attentive.

Home Away from Home

What a great home away from home, it was so comfortable and relaxing when settling down for the night. We enjoyed being within walking distance to food and drink and close to so many beautiful sites. The bed was very comfortable and the towels were oversized and fluffy. The washer and dryer was a nice bonus.

Great, cozy pet-friendly spot in downtown Munising

My husband, our 17 and 9 year old sons, 13 year old daughter and 2 year old cavapoo stayed here for 4 nights. We were so impressed with the cleanliness, walkability to shops, restaurants, and Lakeshore. We wanted to travel with out pet and this location allowed everyone to have space and enjoy the local environment. We visited the Lakeshore, town, mountain bike course, sand beaches and toured the pictures rocks. It was a delightful getaway for all of us. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was so nice too!

Apartment was in a great location. Close to water, food, grocery store; walking distance to everything in town. We even went to Marquette and it was only a 40 minute drive. We did a lot on our short stay in Munising. Beautiful area! Hope to come back again!

Perfect location!

This property is perfectly located right in the center of Munising. It was easy to get to all of our activities as well as walking distance to restaurants, grocery, etc. The apartment is well stocked with everything you might need. It was super clean and cozy. Our kids loved being able to watch Netflix on the TV after a busy day exploring. The only down side was that there was no outdoor space/patio, but it wasn’t a huge deal since we were out and about most of the time!

Clean, quiet, and convenient

We had a wonderful long weekend staying here with our dog. The apartment was very clean and in a great location downtown Munising, a short walk from restaurants, groceries, breweries, and the water. Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is an easy drive away and cruises leave just blocks from the unit. In addition, this is the best stocked vacation rental I’ve stayed in to-date — all the kitchen basics are available! There are even games and books available, as well as TVs that have many streaming options to log into. Highly recommend this rental as your home away from home in Munising.

Ideal location

Such a wonderful little property, perfectly located in downtown...walking distance to everything (groceries, coffee shop, pizza, breweries, etc.). There were only two of us, so we had plenty of space. It was extremely clean/well kept and Lisa was great to deal with. Highly recommended!

Look No Further

If you want a wonderful trip to Munising, look no further! This is the smoothest, most convenient property around. We have two dogs and a baby, and the host, Lisa, accommodated us with no issues. The apartment is clean and stocked with basics, including some locally made snacks and clean linens. The location also couldn't be better - the middle of downtown, two blocks from Pictures Rocks Cruises. Thanks for making our trip possible!
