Very clean and comfortable cabin. Check-out instructions were misleading as there is no dishwasher in the cabin. The road into the cabin off of the main highway is full of twists and turns.

Thank you so much for staying at Ivey’s Cove and for sharing your experience. We’re glad to hear the cabin was very clean and comfortable for your visit. We appreciate your note about the check‑out instructions. You’re absolutely right — Ivey’s Cove does not have a dishwasher, and we’ll update those instructions right away so future guests have clear and accurate information. The road leading to the cabin does have several twists and turns, and we understand it can feel a bit winding. Many of our mountain roads are like that, but we’re glad you made it safely and enjoyed your stay overall. Thank you again for your helpful feedback. We’d love to welcome you back anytime.

Thank you for staying at Ivey’s Cove and for sharing your feedback. We’re glad you found the house clean and cute. I did want to clarify the lake access for future guests who may read your review. The property sits directly on Douglas Lake, and the backyard has a gentle slope leading right down to the water. There’s also a private dock available for tying up a boat or simply enjoying the lake. Guests can walk straight into the water from the shoreline or get in by stepping or jumping from the dock — whichever they prefer. We appreciate you taking the time to leave a review and hope you enjoyed your visit to the area.
