Harry Potter Castle

Experience the magic of Harry Potter and Hogwarts as you step inside. Beginning in the Great Hall you will be met by a knight, air hockey table, see reminders from the Goblet of Fire, and have a kitchen fit for any house elf. The astronomy tower has a bed fit for a king and queen and the dormitory has a bunk with a trundle to sleep three students. The common room boasts the wall of portraits and Dobby likes to hang out there. The prefects bathroom is outfitted offers a washer and dryer. Throughout are numerous reminders of Hogwarts that you will have to experience for yourself. As with any castle, there are odd sounds and strange noises, (this is usually explained by my family and our two dogs living upstairs;)

The property is super nice with lots of care given to the finishing touches. This was my first time staying somewhere themed, and it was a hit! It was clean and comfortable, and provided a some fun Harry Potter themed games. The only thing preventing me from giving 5 stars was that this is a basement apartment, and it was particularly loud for an extended time early in the morning. If I would’ve known, I would’ve brought my sound machine to muffle a bit of the noise.

Fun themed place to stay

We loved the Hogwarts theme and all of the cute touches. We had lots of room and the beds were comfortable. We had everything we needed to cook meals and they even had bottles water and chocolates for us. The owners are very friendly and we truly enjoyed our stay.

Such a fun place to stay!!!

The Hastings’s Hogwarts is a very well appointed basement apartment that blew us away with the attention to detail. It was perfect for a wedding weekend to provide entertainment between events at the nearby wedding venue. My 8 year old son had quite a few foosball competitions and he loved the arcade while I was busy with wedding preparations. Especially grateful for the washer & dryer since a bag with our change of clothes fell out of the car directly into a red clay mud puddle and would have been ruined if not for the washer! Highly recommend!!!

Potterhead Paradise!

We booked this property because of its location, very close to my family, and theme, as my entire family likes Harry Potter. The theme is well done, with decorations, games, costume robes/wands, etc. in every room. Everyone had a great time exploring when we first arrived. The butter beer and Hogwarts candy on the table was a nice, welcoming touch. We all loved the floating candles above the table. We took so many pictures, using some of the decorations as props! My son celebrated his 8th birthday during our stay. While he enjoyed the theme, he enjoyed the arcade video game even more! As described, this rental is the basement of a house occupied by the hosts. We met them, and they are very friendly! There was noise from above, especially in the morning, but we assumed there would be some given the basement location. This minor issue will not deter us from staying again. Thanks for the unique experience and the memories!

Happy at Hogwarts

What a fun place to stay! The pictures are accurate- but there are so many little fun detailed homages to Harry Potter that aren't captured in the pictures- we (the adults) loved it as much as the kids. We enjoyed the air hockey and foosball games- the apartment amenities- and the location. The check in & out process was the easiest ever (seriously). The owner was extremely responsive and kind- we arrived in very late but it wasn't an issue. Communication was 5 stars. Parking is private and is right by the door. The owners who reside upstairs have three amazing dogs and two cute cats- but there is no trace of animals on the property or inside Hogwarts Hotel (I am very allergic to cats and there wasn't a trace of them)- We were lucky enough to get to meet the dogs! Whether you are a pureblood or a muggle- you will love this place. The location is great- near the highway, restaurants and anything you may need. If we are back in the area- it is a sure bet we will be returning.
