Welcome to Bear Trot! This gorgeous 3 bedroom, 2 bath Smoky Mountain cabin rental is the perfect place to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing vacation getaway.

Bear Trot is within a 5 minute drive to downtown Bryson City and a fifteen minute drive to downtown Cherokee. Perfect location for the "on the go" vacation or if you are just wanting to "chill" Bear Trot is perfect for you.

The main living area gas fireplace, upscale furnishings, flat screen TV, cathedral ceiling and abundant windows that seemingly bring the outdoors in.

Bear Trot provides a fully equipped kitchen which provides you with all the modern appliances and utensils to treat all of your guests to a delicious home cooked meal while on vacation in the Smoky Mountains.

The first of three bedrooms you will find a luxurious king, in-suite full bath and flat screen TV. The second bedroom offers a queen bed and the third bedroom offers two twins. All bedrooms have their own TV. The second and third bedroom are located across the breezeway from the main-living area.

If you’re coming to the mountains to have fun with friends and family, then you’re going to love the convenient location of Bear Trot. Here you’ll enjoy relaxing on the sofa or watching your favorite TV programs on the flat screen TV or hanging out in the screened in breezeway.

There are steps leading to bubbling hot tub from the breezeway. Just off of the front porch, you’ll also find your very own fire pit - perfect for gathering around with your friends and family, gazing at the stars and keeping warm on those chilly Smoky Mountain nights. Who's ready for Smores?

Beautiful Bear Themed Cabin

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Beautiful Cabin

We visit the Smoky Mountain National Park often and this was our first time staying on the North Carolina side of the park. Our family really enjoyed the cabin as it was close to Bryson City for groceries and food but still felt secluded. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. We were a little uncertain of our kids sleeping on the other side of the porch/breezeway but it worked fine and they enjoyed it. We were also close to Cherokee where we did plenty of shopping too. It was close to many park hiking trails which we really enjoyed as well. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a very cute house only 5 minutes from downtown Bryson city. Clean, spacious & tons of games for adults and kids. Would recommend.

Christmas Time at 131-Bear Trot

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at 131-Bear Trot in Bryson City, NC in mid-December. The main purpose of our visit was to bring family and friends together and to ride on the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad Christmas Train. From the moment we arrived at the vacation home, it was a pure joy. The home was beautifully decorated with stuffed animals that the kids loved and “bear” decorations everywhere. The kids had fun finding all the bears...a lot of them! The owners were very nice in that they had the kitchen stocked with many spices to make our stay easier. The rental company was very responsive during the rental process and available to answer any questions during our stay. Overall, from all of the vacation homes we have ever rented, this ranks at the top.

The owners clearly take pride in maintaining a spotless environment, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. The attention to detail in cleaning did not go unnoticed, and it truly enhanced the overall experience. Parking was a breeze, and the quiet area and private hot tub added to the serene ambiance. It was a relief to return to such a peaceful haven after a day of exploring the nearby attractions. The owners went above and beyond by calling on Saturday to ensure our stay was going smoothly and to inquire if we needed anything. The kitchen in Bear Trot Cabin deserves special mention. It was a joy to find a well-equipped kitchen, stocked with all the staples needed for a family meal. The convenience of having a grocery store just 5 minutes away made it super easy to enjoy a meal at the house. In summary, I highly recommend Bear Trot Cabin for anyone looking for a cozy, clean, and conveniently located retreat.
