Relax on the water and enjoy your own private beach. Enjoy our modernized 1920 era home as you feel the gentle breeze from the Chesapeake Bay.

For those who no longer wish to negotiate stairs, we have a master bedroom on the first floor. Enjoy your vacation without climbing stairs!

We offer 3 Master Bedroom Suites, each with their own attached bathroom. This waterfront home offers 3 Queen Size beds and 2 Twin beds to sleep 8.

If you are a boater you can use the pier to moor your boat and enjoy fishing, swimming and wading directly on your own private beach.

We have Wifi, Cable TV, two large Smart TV's, parking for 4 vehicles and all the modern conveniences needed to relax and enjoy a wonderful getaway from it all!! For you chefs, we have a fully stocked kitchen in which to create your masterpiece meals. And if going out is more your style we are very close to many restaurants and take out establishments.

I have set the maximum number of guests at 10, however, I only provide the beds and bedding as is listed. For family groups who would like the option of "piling in" we allow the extra guests. All sleeping arrangements for the extra guests need to be supplied.

This is a Family/Residential unit and area. No loud music or noise.

** PLEASE PAY ATTENTION - this unit is for family units ONLY! No Parties are allowed or tolerated. We live next door to this unit and will immediately cancel and evict anything resembling a party - No "Get Togethers" - No "Inviting a few friends" - No "Cookouts" - No "friends stopping by for a visit" - No "Wakes" - No "Funerals" - No "Birthday Parties"!!!!
All cancellations like this will include forfeiture of all payments and security deposits - NO EXCEPTIONS! **

Nice home with lots of room. The kitchen was well equipped. It was nice having an extra living room area for the kids. Everyone had their own bedroom. The kids enjoyed fishing from the private beach area. The neighborhood was quite. We spent time at the Ocean View beach which is a mile from the house. We greatly enjoyed it & it wasn't crowded at all. Overall me & my family will definitely be back to the area again in the near future!

Sweet Getaway

Pros: clean house, wrap-around porch and balcony, on the water which was lit up by the bridge at night, beautiful kitchen and spacious bathrooms, smart tvs, they had everything we could possibly need for a short stay, pet friendly, offered early and late check in, good communication, and convenient walk to a 7-11 for odds and ends. Cons: parking was a little tight for two SUVs, vents upstairs need to be cleaned, and sharp nettles in the yard near the beach area so bring water shoes. We had a fun and lovely time! Thank you so much!

Property definitely needs updated in a lot of TLC. It was very dirty . The walls were filthy ,holes in the walls. Curtain rods were falling out of the walls. The house was just very dirty . I would be embarrassed to rent this house out!

Family Get Away

The property I originally supposed to have had,had plumbing issues so I was told that I will get another property which I did.Upon entering this property,there’s two levels. The first level was the kitchen, the living room with tv, one bedroom and one bath. The carpet looked as if it needed to be vacuum. There were dirty towels in a pile on the floor from the previous rental. The furniture was dirty. I wanted to leave but my family convinced me they were fine. I was very disappointed. The upstairs was like a whole different home. It was perfect up there.

Host Not Interested in State of Property or Comfort of Guests

The GOOD- 4 bathrooms, all bedrooms have ensuites, water pressure/temperature awesome. Location convenient to grocery store, short drive to beaches. The BAD- Kitchen ill stocked- 5 small plates, 2 dinner plates, 2 bowls. Drinking glasses included a couple of mason jars and a solo cup. There were ants ALL OVER the kitchen. I reported the issue, suggested a good ant bait and the owner did come over the second day and provide that bait and the ants were reduced 2 days. Pictures show 4 barstools only 3 and 1 was broken. Couches are torn/dirty. Internet out the entire stay, host tried to say that there was a recent electrical storm, however a laminated instruction manual for internet troubleshooting advised guests to call the internet company directly before messaging host. Beds uncomfortable, towels did not include hand towels and were ratty, walls had lots of holes. No way this property is professionally cleaned- visible dirt/mold around AC vents, grease staining on kitchen ceiling, dirt/cobwebs in corners, house was musty smelling, all of the pillows and mattress covers are stained. The DANGEROUS- upstairs banisters extremely loose, exposed nails on dock/disrepair, fire detector by kitchen inoperable, cut foot on edge of cracked floor tiles. I let the host know about the internet and ants, the other issues were so numerous and obvious I did not bother even mentioning.

Family Getaway

The property was spacious and accommodating for our family. We were disappointed with some of the repairs that are needed. My adult son stepped on a loose board on the dock and almost fell in the water. Several tiles on the floor were damaged. The downstairs bathroom door had a cracked in it. The rails on the upstairs porch are loose in some areas. The sliding screen doors downstairs were not functioning properly. In addition, there was a ant problem and I saw mice on at least 3 different occasions. I did contact the owner regarding the issue with pests and they offered to come and bring traps to put down for the mice but did not respond regarding the ant issue. Due to the pest issue and maintenance that was not completed on the property, we will not book this property again.

Convenient Location

The house is great overall. There were a few small things that we noticed needed repair like the toilet paper holder in the bathroom downstairs. There are a lot of doors in this house so if you have smaller children that are able to open doors it could be an issue. We loved having the water right out back and the bedrooms were huge. The best plus is each bedroom has a bath. That was probably my favorite part. This was a great house for what we needed for the weekend.

Great place for a multi-family get together

We were so impressed with the ample bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms. This place was the perfect spot for two families to get together for a beach weekend.

Decent place

Decent location. Good for a short trip. Property could use some updating and maintenance. When arrived smoke alarms were beeping. Contacted to request fix did not hear back until next morning. Very disappointed. Had to remove batteries from 2 smoke alarms ourselves. Finally came to fix around 2:30.

Good place but disappointed

The place was pretty. As soon as we opened the door, the place smelled so badly of smoke. It stated no smoking so thought it would be smoke free, it was so bad, we had to opened doors and windows for an few hours. Nephrew was hightly allergic and had a reaction. Was for a place for 10 people but only had 4 sets of place, the things that were broken, like.. dish washer, stove handles. The towels were damp, there were no laundry machine. The table had a note that said, more people extra$, check out 10 min later than scheduled then more $, everything was extra $$$ The place was so loud from the highways. Not worth the price

Charming house, Water shoes a must

This home was really great. Came with my family and my sister’s family, we both have kids 12 and under. The Willoughby Spit area was charming. There’s beach on both sides of the tiny strip of land. The waves were calm/nonexistent, and the water was warm and shallow very far out so that made it super kid friendly, especially on the “ocean” side. On the Willoughby Bay side (including the private beach of the house), there is debris in the water. The highway bridge is not far, plus there are tons of little piers covered with barnacles. Playing with the kids in the water, we found pieces of broken tail light, bits of metal, concrete, and lots of sharp broken shell. Not like every moment, but enough that it was noticeable. Almost every kid (and a couple adults) cut their feet while playing in the water of the private beach. So, that being said, WEAR WATER SHOES OR SANDALS EVERY TIME YOU GO ON THE LITTLE BEACH. No exceptions. Seriously. A couple of the big kids said “I can tread water, I’m fine” but they also got cut. I also advise against kids climbing the rocks on the beach because they are sharp. Now, that being said, the private beach was cute and bigger than I expected and a great perk. It’s wonderful to have water out the window and it was still enjoyable to swim in—with foot protection. Also, there are tons of tiny adorable crabs on the private beach that the kids ADORED catching, that was super fun. The house had comfy beds and a big, picturesque wraparound porch with lots of shade. The wifi was fast and made it easy to work remotely part of the time. We also appreciated the 4 full bathrooms (so easy to get everyone cleaned off) and the smart TVs. The kitchen was easy to use, though there is not a big dining table so we leaned toward finger foods. We had a really lovely stay and it was a perfect place in this covid 19 time. Definitely recommend.

Social distance getaway

Our family didn’t want our daughter to miss out on a graduation getaway because of the times and she did not have to. We were extremely happy with this house and plan on returning for a longer stay in the future. The home was perfect for a family getaway where you could enjoy yourselves without being in a big crowd. It’s walking to distance to beach access or you can drive to the oceanview pier area. Even at the home you have your own private sandy area and swim area so the little kids who couldn’t get enough never have to stop playing. I highly recommend this home!
