Blue Water, White Sand! Kommen Sie in unser kleines Paradies, ein einfach 28 Minuten vom Flughafen Tampa und 15 Minuten von St. Petersburg und Clearwater Airport. Unsere Zwei-Schlafzimmer, ein Bad-Wohnung, im Jahre 1944 gebaut und komplett renoviert, befindet sich nur 100 Schritte von den zuckerähnlichen Sandstrände des Golfs und nur 70 Schritte von der Inter Waterway. Für Ihren Atem bereit sein, genommen werden, wie Sie die Sanddüne Marsch überqueren und sehen Sie die blauesten blau und grünsten grünen Golf zum ersten Mal. Denken Sie Corona Bierwerbung.

We loved our stay in Mickey's apartment. The apartment is well equipped with high end finishes. The beds are super comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped, there are televisions in all 3 rooms, there are plenty of nice beach chairs and there are bicycles. The location is perfect! Mickey is a wonderful host.
Best sunsets are just a block away.

We loved the property, including the location. I have stayed at many properties over the last 3 months and this was by far one of my favorites! Chris thought of every detail at her property and was always a quick text away if we needed anything. Would highly recommend this great property.

Loved this Pass-A-Grille Apartment

This was probably the best place I have ever stayed in Florida!! It was so quiet and peaceful to stay here--just a block away from the beach! The kitchen was so fully stocked with every cooking utensil you would ever need! I definitely want to return!

Convenient to Gulf

This convenient and accessible location is great for access to the beach downtown shopping and restaurants. The rental is ultra clean, beautifully decorated and provides privacy to the rental couple or family. Well with everything you might need for a beach day. this unit has all the comforts of home.

Best Cottage in PAG

We’ve been coming to PAG for several years now, and this is the best place we’ve stayed. The owners have truly thought of everything. The cottage is so well decorated and equipped. It was super-clean and very comfortable. Check-in and check-out was easy, and Chris and Adele were so attentive and helpful. Finally, the location was just perfect. Very short walk to the beach and easy walks to restaurants. We are planning to stay there again next summer.

Lovely property, friendly owner and great location

We had a wonderful stay here! The apartment was clean and well stocked with lots of basics that came in very helpful. The owner, Chris, was wonderful - they live in the house in the front and were really friendly and helpful with any questions we had but it still felt very private. We were also welcome to use their beautiful garden to sit and relax and do some grilling - the garden is really a tranquil sanctuary and very relaxing. Good location too - The apartment is just a minute to the beach and there is a deli and a few restaurants right across the street. It is just a short walk or drive to 8th Ave for more restaurants and the local ice cream shop! Highly recommend staying here.

Lovely vacation home!

Our family of five (three young kids + two parents) thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this apartment. It was clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated, and steps away from the beach. The kitchen is well-stocked and user friendly, and we enjoyed grilling some Florida grouper on the grill outside. Chris is a thoughtful, courteous host, and she made sure we had everything that we needed for a great stay. She was even kind enough to mail us a small stuffed animal that one of our children accidentally left behind! The location is wonderful - an easy walk to the beach and several restaurants. We would love to stay there again when we visit Pass-a-Grille!

Charming Tropical Paradise

Where to begin? We were warmly greeted by Chris and led into a charming, beautifully decorated private courtyard with lovely tropical plants, garden statuary and a bubbling fountain. The upstairs apartment was full of light. It was spacious and perfectly appointed. The king sized bed was incredibly comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed. Obviously, great care and talent went into decorating this lovely space. I'm going to run out of superlatives, but you could not go wrong in planning a stay here. We can't wait to go back. Chris and Ann are lovely and helpful hosts!

We are so happy that Marin and Phil enjoyed their visit to Pass-A-Grille. We understand that this was a first vacation without the kids in quite a long time. They were the picture of "chill", enjoying long walks, good beach time, and every afternoon reading in the shady garden. We are just tickled that we could provide a nice, quiet respite for them and hope they will return!

Absolutely perfect!

We had a wonderful stay--Chris was incredibly warm and greeted us with all of the information we needed to have. The apartment is fabulous--lots of space and very well equipped. The kitchen is fully stocked, linens and towels are plentiful, and parking is easy. Two twin beds in one bedroom were very comfy and the king bed in the second bedroom was a dream to sleep on. The apartment and grounds are well cared for and super clean. The apartment is less than a block to the beach--no need to drive with the beach and restaurants so close. We brought our aging dog who was also warmly welcomed. Thanks again Chris for your warm welcome! My girls swear that our dog Max shaved a couple of years off of his age with this wonderful trip :)

We were very happy to host the Wallace family, including Max !, for their visit to the beach! They were exemplary guests, so quiet that we never knew when they were on site or not. Max, their dear 12-year old yellow Lab, was a very sweet boy and we are happy to hear that he had fun on this girls' weekend, too! We would happily welcome these folks to our home again. Any family who loves their pet this much are definitely on our A List!

Great location, Great Apartment

Mickey has done a wonderful job making the apartment a great place to stay. The apartment is clean and fully stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Kitchen utensils, cleaning supplies, towels, laundry, comfy mattresses, full TV set up, wifi and an adorable record player and great furnishings. The location is perfect to the beach and fabulous sunsets, plus necessities like groceries and restaurants/nightlife. I think it should be noted that this is an apartment of a shared residence where the property manager lives full time. The garden and patio is shared with the residents and their two dogs. If you're looking for a fully private space, have friends visit/come through during a beach day, this may not be the best option for you.

While the property manager (and previous Owner) will no longer be residing in the bungalow adjacent to the garage and apartment, beginning August 31st, both the apartment and main house (SeaSalt Bungalow) do indeed share the deck and courtyard. Since we rented the apartment for 8 Summer's prior to purchasing the property, I think we hadn't even thought about that being an issue in a VRBO/Aribnb type situation. Absolutely delightful in every way!

I booked this VRBO for 4 nights as a surprise birthday trip for my husband. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment. It's much nicer and more spacious than the pictures would suggest. Every detail is thought out, from the fresh water dispenser, to the well stocked kitchen, and the comfortable king size bed. Chris is the ultimate hostess and could not have been more kind and generous. We were fortunate to have use of some borrowed bikes which completely made our stay! We rode them everywhere - to the Merry Pier for the Shell Key shuttle, The Seahorse Cafe for breakfast, Hurricane for tropical drinks and dinner, The Brass Monkey for lunch (the blackened grouper Reuben sandwich was TO DIE FOR!), exploring the island down to the southern tip, and even an emergency ride up to St. Pete Beach for a sun hat. We brought the beach chairs and umbrella provided with the rental to the beach for a couple of exquisitely relaxing afternoons. And the icing on the (birthday) cake... Chris recommended Katherine, a local massage therapist who makes house calls, for a fantastic massage right there at the apartment! You can be certain that if/when we come back to Pass-a-Grille Beach, we will stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

Perfect Beach Vacation!!!

This apartment was AMAZING! My husband and I just visited Chris and Ann in Pass-a-grille for ten days over Memorial day and had the best experience! The apartment was immaculate and every detail was thought of! Chris and Ann were so attentive to our needs, but we were still able to enjoy a much needed vacation alone! We truly felt like it was an all-inclusive package! We have been to sandals many times and this was a very close second to the all-inclusive experience! We loved how close it was to the beach and with the gas grill we hardly had to leave in the evenings! We were able to walk to shaners land and sea market and giovanni's italian restaurant to get food and either go to the beach for sunset or grill at the house and walk to the beach after dinner! We needed a vacation that was relaxing and totally stress free and that is exactly what we got! This apartment is close to many other restaurants, but we just loved being on the beach so much a quick grilled dinner was all we needed! Chris and Ann were nothing but professional and respectful! My family came to stay our last night and added a total count of five people. Chris and Ann were nothing but helpful with the process of letting them stay and gave them a parking pass for their car. We respected them by letting them know who was coming and they respected us by letting us have the five people that the contract allowed. PLEASE do not hesitate to rent this apartment on the previous review. Chris and Ann are such kind and attentive people who run a beautiful business in Pass-a-grille! Hope you will visit soon! We can not wait to go back!

Paradise that went wrong

Upon entering our home for the next 7 days, we were overjoyed! The apartment is beautiful and really close to the beach. The rental agreement we signed said no more than 6 people could be in the apartment at any time. When booking I thought this is perfect, it is me, mom and my 2 daughters from Milwaukee. We have family in the Tampa area, so I thought this is great, my nephew and his son can stay over on one weekend night if they wish, as they are about 45 minutes from this apartment. I read the rental agreement over and over and it never anywhere stated anything about having to identify who was coming or anything, just 6 people maximum at anytime including guests. Well my white nephew and his mom came for a visit for dinner one night. No problem. Then on Friday, May 20th my half white half Spanish nephew came with his 13 year old son. And suddenly Chris was asking to speak with me. She said you cannot have anyone over night except the 4 of you. I said, oh the rental agreement says no more than 6, so I thought we would be ok. We were not rowdy, it was 2 kids and my 65 year mom, me 46, 27, year old daughter and my 35 year old Spanish looking nephew. We had wine, but were not partying. I believe it was the fact that he was Spanish looking. When I saw Chris the next day and said sorry if we upset you but the agreement said 6 so it should have been ok...and that my nephew had to drive back 45 minutes for really no reason was rude. Chris proceeded to tell me a story about 4 college girls that had Cubans over and she had to tell them no way. So, that just told me it was about how brown my nephew was. Because the White one that stopped in for a beach day, it was no issue at all. The reviews that got me to rent from here were families of up to 6. If you have an issue with different races or maybe men, then just make it clear in the rental agreement, that you can have no one over ever, change what you have in there now about 6 people max including visitors. You really ruined our last weekend, my nephew felt upon arrival you did not like him because he looked Mexican and I said no way she is so nice, then all of a sudden he had to go. Not cool and not ok. I do not recommend this place because as Chris said the day after she said my nephew could not stay, this is there home and they cannot have any liability. If someone were to get hurt, etc. I was thinking, um you are renting weekly, it is a liability. So disappointed and obviously still upset.

My first thoughts to simply refer potential guests to all the other reviews we have received. My second thought is, "Oh, please." This guest is correct. Our Rental Agreement does stipulate that no more than six people may stay overnight at any one time. What is customary is for the guest to inform the owners of expected overnight guests ahead of time. When your nephew arrived, the reason I approached him was because he had parked entirely across the driveway, blocking your car in. Once he identified himself and your daughter brought him the street parking pass, I had no other thought beyond how handsome he is. No other thought until I then saw him entering the apartment with a suitcase and a bag full of liquor. You then told me he was from a community which is less than seven miles from here and that his going home that night after visiting would "not be a problem." To suggest that the owner may have any sort of bias based on ethnicity is ludicrous. We have rented our apartment for 18 years to people from all over the world, of all different races, genders, and ethnicities. Using a descriptor is not a sign of prejudice; it is simply a part of a story. You listed on your site inquiry that you and three others would be sleeping in the apartment. That in itself constitutes a contract. The different number of people sleeping in our apartment puts us in a dangerous situation with our liability insurance, which covers only those who we know are to be staying there. If someone outside our knowledge slips in the tub, we would not be covered. We are sorry that you were disappointed. In 18 years of renting, we have had only two guests who have not met our expectations as visitors. For the following reasons, we now have a list of three; - the cleaner, who typically prepares the apartment for the next guest in under two hours, spent 5.5 hours getting it back in order, - I am still trying to get bloodstains out of the sheets and coverlet, - in spite of leaving your sandals at the door as requested, there was an inordinate amount of sand in the apartment, to the degree that the cleaner had to vacuum out the dryer before using it, - members of your party were outside at night being loud enough that our neighbors remarked on it to us. Since we live in a residential neighborhood, we must be especially cognizant of any noise our guests impose on our neighbors. Going forward, our suggestion is that you have a deeper conversation with owners about your plans while renting.

Amazing

This rental is great. It is so bright and everything you need for a comfortable stay is available. Short walk to the beach and to area restaurants. The back courtyard is nice to sit and relax. We took our dog and he loved being able to play and chase the lizards. Mickey responds to any questions you may have in a timely manner. We can’t wait to go back.

Wonderful!

We were pleasantly surprised at how much we loved staying at this wonderful two bedroom rental apartment. Perfect size apartment for a family of four with plenty of natural light and an open floor plan. The courtyard was wonderful too with the beautiful and well maintained vegetation as well as a large table to dine and a grill. Our check-in process was lovely with Adele meeting us as we arrived to gave us a tour of the apartment. She was always available for any concerns or questions - the same goes for the property manager, Chris. The rental itself is in a great location and had all the amenities (as stated in the rental listing) needed for a great and relaxing vacation. It is super clean with a beautiful midcentury feel and Pass a Grill accents. Very close to the beach, the bay, and local shops. Will love to stay here again on our next visit to Pass a Grille. Thank you Adele, Chris, and Mickey for providing the perfect home away from home!

Amazing Property

We had an awesome week at this pass a grille property. It was perfectly placed steps away from a beautiful beach as well close to the bay. It’s in a beautiful spot where you can also walk to some nice restaurants and shopping. The place itself was a dream. Not only was it spacious but it was decorated beautifully. Every detail was thought of. Both our property manager Chris and owner Mickey were delightful to deal with and made our trip as lovely as possible. Highly recommend this place!! 5 stars across the board!

Amazing home away from home!

This is the perfect space for your getaway to pass-a-grille beach! Mickey and Chris keep the place well stocked and comfortable down to the smallest detail! They always made themselves available should we need anything, and even checked in on us halfway through our trip! Communication was top notch! And, the best part is, you are just a few steps away from the beautiful white sand beach with crystal clear water right down the street! We will definitely recommend this property to our friends and family and will definitely stay again if planning another trip to the area! :)

Wonderful apartment close to the beautiful beach!

We totally enjoyed our stay! The only problem we had is that we had to leave! 😭 Haha! We haven't had a bad Pass-a-Grille vacation yet, and this trip was no exception! The apartment was spacious with wonderful natural light. A great mix of beach and vintage decor, very similar to the feel of the town of Pass-a-Grille itself! We could tell that the hosts take pride in their property, and we were very pleased with our stay! The hosts supply everything needed for a relaxing beach stay! When we return to Pass-a-Grille this will be our #1 choice of lodging. Perfect and thank you so much! 🏖

Atlanta natives, Mickey & Michael are the new proprietors of this property. Having been regular renters of the previous owners for almost a decade, they jumped at the chance to become part-time residents of this mile and a half strip of paradise.

We first came to Pass-A-Grille in 1998 and immediately felt as if we'd stepped back in time. Our little town typifies the 'old Florida' feel. We call it 'Mayberry on the beach.' Everyone knows each other - from Andre the mailman, to Rebecca and Julie at the Salon, to Debbie at the Seahorse Restaurant, to Bruno the Turtle Man - it can take an hour to walk your dog just because of all the conversations with friends! On the other hand, we are minutes away from major league baseball, terrific museums and restaurants, and all the beach life you could want. We can be fishing in five minutes and setting off on our sailboat in ten. Every sunset is an art show and it's tough to beat the cornhole tournaments with a beer at the Paradise Grille. Life is pretty darn good.

The most pleasant by-product of staying in Pass-A-Grille and ‘passagrillebeachhouse’ is how your spirit finds quiet again. Walking the beach or the endlessly interesting alleys, a peace descends on you, washing away all your stress and worries. This is the Florida that many of us knew as children - beaches full of sea life, a convenience store, knotty pine tables at the local breakfast spot, nights so quiet you can hear the waves from a block away, and one and only one stoplight. Come and enjoy riding your bike down the middle of the street again!
