This was our first time visiting the U.P. in the winter. I can't even begin to express how lovely everything about our experience at Simply Superior was. Jody is a dream of a host! She thinks of literally everything to spoil her guests. The location of the property is perfect and it was such a joy to come back to the house to prepare meals and watch the snow fall over the lake from a warm cabin. The views from this property are breathtaking! We just couldn't get enough of it! We also had a fantastic time around the fire pit nearly every day. The beds were so comfy, with quality bedding and pillows. The kitchen was very well stocked (more than any other place we've stayed) and we pleasantly surprised by the well-stocked spice drawer. Jody is so attentive and checked in regularly with us to be sure our stay was going well. Her hospitality alone deserves a five-star review!

This was truly a Superior stay. The home is very well supplied, with lots of kitchen spices, lots of towels, and life jackets, etc. The bonfire pit was great and we used it each evening. It was also very clean when we arrived. We are hoping to come back next year.

This house was amazing! It was clean, cozy and we immediately felt at home. The location was central to all attractions in the area.Tahquamenon falls,Whitefish point and many other sites. The views of the sunrises and sunsets off your own little private beach were breathtaking!!Jody was extremely friendly and accommodating with helpful tips about the area and suggestions of places to see and go. We can't say enough good things about the house and Jody. We are already planning our next stay. I would highly recommend it to anyone. Thanks again, Jody, for the wonderful stay and experience!

Jody’s cabin was cozy and welcoming. We loved the cabin and property. It felt secluded even though it was a short to walk to the restaurants in Paradise. Having coffee and watching the sunrise over Lake Superior was incredible. Perfect base camp for the visiting the Falls and lighthouses. We already are planning on coming back! We can’t say enough nice things about Jody. She was so responsive and helpful.

Really Superior Stay

This is one of the best properties we have stayed at on VRBO. Check-in was easy, the cabin / home well appointed and very clean, a really great location to go to Tahquamenon Falls, Whitefish Point and even Pictured Rocks. The view was spectacular. Jody, you have done a great job! A great find and we are already booked for our next visit!

Simply Superior it is!

Excellent location right in town, but hidden away for privacy. Not far from rock picking, water falls, lighthouses and relaxing gazing at the lake. The sandy beach is the best I've seen and its right out front. The cabin/house has everything we wanted and more.

The Perfect place

Everything was perfect and exactly how it was described. The location is right in town and the view from the house was amazing. I would defiantly recommend this to anyone looking for a place to stay in Paradise.

Amazing stay on Lake Superior!

Spent 3 nights here as a group of 4 adults and 2 kiddos! We had so much space! The house was stocked with everything you could need and then some. The owner is so sweet and has great communication! It was very clean as well. We were close to the falls and Bear Ranch and spent time in Lake Superior! The sandbar was awesome to walk out far and made it easy for the kids to swim. After a storm, we were lucky to see a double rainbow! Thank you Simply Superior Cabin for hosting us and we can't wait to return!

The Simply Superior cabin is just that - simply superior. Jody has added so many lovely touches that you keep finding during your stay. The back yard is really special with the fire ring surrounded by comfortable chairs and the two rocker chairs at the top of the stairs. Having the Lake so close is wonderful. Due to smoke from the Canadian fires, our visibility wasn't the best but we captured some sunrises/moonrises. We loved the three lighthouses we visited and Tahquamenon falls, especially the lower falls with the new bridge. All in all, a wonderful week with a very helpful host to keep us straight.

This place is absolutely fabulous. Already book it for my next trip in a few weeks .. I wish l could keep this gem a secret.. .. l have stayed at alot of places in the UP to snowmobile and this is hands down are the best .. The owner is as nice as they come .. places to eat to trail

Perfect in Every Way

Simply Superior is a super clean, comfortable and well appointed cabin in a beautiful location. The cabin has so many thoughtful amenities - comfy throws, fire pit, equipment for outdoor adventures, books on the area, etc. There are delicious food options close by. Stunning views of Lake Superior - especially sunrises. Many things to do close by - Whitefish Point, Shipwreck Museum, Tahquamenon State Park. Best of all is the host! Jody is a kind and attentive host who really cares about her guests. A visit to her souvenir shop is a must. The name says it all - Simply Superior is truly a superior accommodation.

Awesome place

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Jody is an incredible host. She even stacked wood in the firepit so it was ready to light.

Beautiful cabin - beautiful views!

Our family had a wonderful time! The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed (and then some!), and Jody was a very kind and responsive host. The views of Lake Superior were breathtaking. We hope to return and visit again in the future!

Simply superior

Jody was amazing and home is better than the pictures portrayed. Home had everything we needed and more. We would gladly stay again if we come to the UP in the future.

Cozy Cabin with Amazing Views

We stayed at Simply Superior over New Year’s 2024 and it was perfect! The cabin was super clean with a beautiful view and great location. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook two large meals. Jody, the owner, was unbelievably helpful and genuinely cared about us having a great trip. We will definitely be back. My sister is already planning to visit the cabin with her family. We are so thankful to Jody for playing a big part in making our trip special!

It was absolutely a pleasure having this group at the cabin, a bonus to meet all them in person. I’m so happy to have helped them with their stay 😉 They were so grateful of the cabin & you could see the excitement in their eyes to spend some quality time as a family.
