This gorgeous river house is located on the Caloosahatchee River in Cape Coral's prestigious Gold Coast area. It has 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, a heated pool, screened lanai, a terrace, and a balcony on the 2nd floor. The house is fully equipped and furnished, with 2 Zone A/C, Hot tub, BBQ grill, Wi-Fi Internet, Captain Walk/boat dock, boats lift, and garage. NESPRESSO Coffee Maker: bring the pods/capsules of your choice. Large dining table and many lounges. Amenities: Boating, fishing, golfing, tennis, biking, shopping, swimming, walking the beach, enjoying sunsets, and just relaxing. As for fine dining, we have over 1500 restaurants in the area. There is Sun Splash water park, a go-kart track, mini-golf, horseback riding on the edge of the Everglades, and much more for the kids. Bush Gardens in Tampa is just 2 hours by car, and Disney World Orlando is 3 to 4 hours by car. A boat lift is available and guests can rent a boat from a local boat rental company. The Boat Lift is NOT part of the rental agreement; we DO NOT offer rental boats.

Absolutely gorgeous, clean home. We had one minor issue with a faucet and Claudia helped us quickly. The pool area and balcony views are stunning. Best vacation we've had. Will definitely be back!

Great house, view, & ocean access - just beware of fees

The house is wonderful. They actually have a lot of 'extras' in the kitchen drawers, the garage, etc (goggles, pool toys, unusual kitchen gadgets) - seems like the owners must be there a lot because it feels like someone's house, not a barebones rental. The pool and view are wonderful. The boat slip/dock is very nice. This house sleeps 8 very comfortably - just beware of the fees as you are checking out - additional guest fees apply for more than 4 people even though it sleeps 8; plus electricity, administrative, cleaning, service fees.

Nice property

We struggled to get the TV in the master suite to display English language so that we could login to Netflix. We spent two hours trying to make that function and could not. The house is nice. The pool area is kind of small and the pool is small. The patio is quite busy with too much stuff.

Gorgeous views

Home is beautiful and there is gorgeous views of the river. The kitchen is fully equipped. It was nice having garage parking. Communication with management was easy. We had a few maintenance issues. Ceiling fan in master bedroom made a clicking noise. The blind in master bedroom was broken, unable to adjust to get out the door to the balcony (was told blind is on order). A maintenance man came the next morning to fix the fan noise and cut the blind so it was in the down position. They also took down a broken ceiling fan in the lanai, but did not cap it, left the wires hanging out. The beds were ok. The master bedroom and bath are on the second floor. There are king size beds in 3 of the bedrooms. One bed is very low to the ground. In the list of instructions left for us at the house, we were to add tablets to the hot tub when using , but were unable to locate them. We asked the maintenance man while he was there and he didn’t know where they were either, he said they are normally right beside the hot tub. The big grill in the lanai was out of order and very dirty around it, but there is another grill outside, if you use it there is an additional cleaning fee. You will need to buy extra essentials, as we ran out. We had to buy toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, dishwasher detergent. We had to locate the washcloths and found them in the half bathroom. There were several light bulbs out (front porch, master bath, kitchen) I replaced the one in the kitchen since there were extra in a drawer. I sent a message to Diana about the lights right before we left because that really didn’t bother us, but it might for the next person.

Great Summer trip!

We loved this house & location. The house is well equipped and isn't missing anything. The pool and lake view are amazing. The hot tub was a hit too. The eating areas and kitchen accommodated a large group and grill was nice. Overall excellent trip and perfect home on the water. The host was available if I needed her. Great size house for a family. We will rent again.

Beautiful view

The view was beautiful the house over all was nice. The property manager was easy to communicate with but the house had some repair issues. The oven although it looked very new wouldn’t heat over 165 degrees, the fan in the master suite was out of balance it made more noise then you could bare to try and sleep. The swimming pool was not heated a new one is coming next week, so we couldn’t swim. We heard a lot that the repairs are coming soon. The property was very equipped. The knobs on the stove top were not the original knobs so you had no idea what degree you were cooking. I guess I would say with the problems we had I didn’t feel it was worth the price. But if money is no issue and you were going to eat out all the time this is the property for you.

Amazing house

This house is gorgeous with amazing views! Very clean and Claudia was prompt to respond to questions and needs. Disappointed we were there in November during a cold spell so my kids didn’t use the pool much since it wasn’t heated . Not the fault of the homeowner, just something to take into consideration if you are there in colder months .

House and outdoor oasis didnt disappoint! The house was very livable and each day enjoyed the pool, hot tub and fishing from the dock. A few items that were mentioned in other reviews still need to be fixed. FAN in master bedroom needs to be replaced. Gets very warm. Some other small items that would make big impression-front porch area needs to be pressured washed. Master room perhaps change ripped shade with rod and grommet curtains as didnt even go out on upstairs deck as didnt want to cause more damage to shade. Would we recommend and go back----Absolutely!!!

Relaxed and Recharged.

5 nights was not enough. The house is very well kept and nicely decorated. Spacious and comfortable. Lots of attention to detail around the house when it comes to decor and overall comfort. The views are spectacular. The neighborhood is very quiet and friendly. Wonderful stay all around.

Beautiful house, wonderful stay!

We arrived on a Friday and left 9 days later, completely relaxed from our stay at this beautiful house. The view? Amazing! The pool? Cool and inviting after being out in the Florida sun! The amenities that the house offered? Absolutely love them. In fact, I'm going shopping next week for the washer and dryer that they had. It was awesome!!! Everything was so state-of-the-art that I will miss it now that I'm back home. I love the music-in-every-room feature that you can hook up to your phone. This property, it's owners, and the management staff go above and beyond to make sure you are welcome in their home. We even stayed through hurricane Elsa and they checked in on us and made sure we were safe and secure. (Which by the way, we were! I've been through many hurricanes and the house is very well built and even with the storm surge, water never got even close to the house. It is VERY safe!) We will definitely be back and hopefully very soon!!!

Do NOT stay here- infested with bugs

We came to this property mid June 2021 and was excited for our family vacation here. It was my husband and our infant and 3 year old son. This trip shortly turned into a nightmare. The first night around evening we were unpacking groceries and discovered the kitchen/dining area was infested with bugs. I contacted the owner and informed them of this issue immediately. There was also several other issues we soon realized upon arrival that I mentioned as well. The upstairs shade was broken which prevented you from utilizing the the upper deck. The hot tub had a moldy smell and had not been sanitized. Multiple fans in the home were not working. There was a ceiling fan that had been taken down outside that still had wires you could see hanging. The owner had multiple areas in the house that had their belongings there still. They had a closest full of clothes, a car still parked in the garage and lots of cabinets locked. This felt nothing like a vacation home rental, more like the owners were going to walk in any minute. Once I emailed them the first day about all of these issues they said a technician/someone would be out the following day. There was no technician just the owner who showed up the following afternoon. I knew it was the owner because he had pictures of him in the home. He put chemicals in the hot tub and that was it. Tried to fix the ceiling fans and could not, he was not friendly at all and then left. On day THREE (we were only there 4 nights) a bug company came out to spray. The whole time we were in this home it was infested with bugs. We were constantly killing them with shoes and paper towels. We had to dispose a lot of our groceries from the bugs getting into it. The owner had no sympathy at all for what we had went through. The house is not like the pictures and there is black all over the roof from no upkeep. I would not recommend staying at this house.

Unforgettable

This property was above and beyond any picture or description in the listing or expectations we had before we arrived. The neighborhood was quiet and safe - our two teenagers took bike rides every evening on bikes available at the house and we weren’t worried about letting them go on their own. As far as the house itself, I have no words. It’s just beautiful. You open the front door and don’t know whether to take in the gorgeous entryway/living room or the (literally) breathtaking view of the pool, dock, and river straight through the wall of sliding glass doors. The pictures on the listing are great, but like a previous guest said, they don’t do the home justice. We spent our time comfortable on the lanai, cooled off in the pool throughout the day, and fished off the dock every night (and caught multiple fish each time). You’re close to countless bait shops, fantastic restaurants, Fort Myers beach and Sanibel/Captiva Islands. Everyone in our multiple generation party was happy and comfortable here. One week was NOT long enough!

Gorgeous view!

This was our first visit to Cape Coral and expirence through VRBO. Everything was perfect for us and would definitely come back! The house had plenty of space for our family of 5. Huge dining room table with additional bar seating. All the kitchen utensils, cookware and storage containers you may need. Big table in lanai with plenty of seating and chairs to take out to the pool. Pool/ hot tub were clean (being out on the patio and in the pool was our favorite part). Two cruiser bikes which were fun to stroll through the neighborhood. Beach umbrella, chairs, towels, coolers for use. A couple things people may want to be aware of but wouldn't prevent us from staying there again are... One of the fans in main floor bedroom does not work (has been noted in other reviews). Master bedroom has a fan that works but does not seem to be very strong. The MB does have it's own ac so it wasn't a issue. The blinds that lead out to the upstairs balcony are also still broken which make it difficult to get out but can be done. Again didn't bother us. We had the best time! We saw a large iguana, quick dolphin sighting, borrowing owls across the street, and plenty of little lizards. The home was peaceful and gorgeous with a beautiful sunrise, we miss it already!
