Booking this was an easy process working with Heidi. As the owner she was great to work with. We had a wonderful time during our stay. The accommodations were very nice. The beds were very comfortable. We saw dolphins and manatees which was fun for the granddaughters. They also fished off the dock for fun. Dennis was very helpful and fun to visit with. The first week the pool did not heat up and we were informed that it was due to the weather as it was unseasonably cold. We then figured out you cannot heat the hot tub and pool at the same time. This should be listed in the instructions that are given out. The second week was much better. I would rent this again without hesitation. Very relaxing and the location is great as we spent equal time in Cape Coral and Ft Meyer’s on adventures. Ann B.

The house was beautiful and wonderful for a relaxing stay!

We had a very enjoyable stay and loved spending time by and in the pool. That alone was enough for a great stay. There was active wildlife activity in the canal and fun to watch dolphins during morning coffee and see fish off the dock all day. The inside of the house was beautiful and had everything needed for the stay. Working with both Heidi and Sigrid was friendly and easy.

Spring break 2025

We loved the house and would definitely stay here again. The 2 master suites were nice for extended families vacationing together. Pool was even nicer than the pictures depict. Loved having such a long pool with varied depths. The dock was wonderful for the boaters and fishermen in our group. Caught many large channel catfish and even hooked a tarpon. Enjoyed watching all the wildlife in the mornings - dolohin, manatees, tarpon and birds. Nighttime fish light was fun as well. Great location - quick ride out to the open gulf by boat. Can't wait to come back!

Amazing Property

We have rented homes in Cape Coral for 13 years and this property exceeded any expectations we could have had…so much so that we have rebooked for next year and can’t wait to be back next year!! Although we typically like to have bikes available this home made up for not having these with the amazing accommodations and nearby bike rentals are easy. Great home for families

The house was as advertised, the property manager Dennis was a delight to work with he was very responsive to any and all questions we had. We saw dolphins and manatees outside our dock which was a first for us and we’ve traveled to Cape Coral the last 6 years. We were not able to use the garage which we made do. A bit surprised by our end use electricity charge. Overall would definitely stay again

We’re also glad our property manager took great care of you. Regarding electricity, we strive for transparency. In winter, typical usage is 60–70 kWh/day without pool heating and around 100 kWh/day with heating, depending on guest numbers. If anything seems off, we encourage guests to inform our property manager so we can address it. We also provide details in our T&Cs, on our website, and in pre-arrival information. We are pleased to hear that not having access to the garage was not an issue, being aware of it as this is something we communicate in our listings. Such a great experience

It was a beautiful home and in a great location. This was where my family had their summer vacation and it was a wonderful experience. Heidi, the owner and the property manager, were both great communicators and followed up quickly. All questions were answered promptly. It was very clean, organized and the pool was spectacular. I would highly recommend these folks, the location and the home. A wonderful experience.

Will Continue to be Repeat Guests!

This property is amazing and exactly what you want in a Florida home! This is our second time staying here and we are already looking at booking again next year. We rent all the time but this is the only house we have ever insisted in booking again. House is big and perfect for families. There are 2 primary bedrooms on either “wing” of the house and one wing has 2 additional rooms, one perfect for young children. THE POOL AND DECK ARE BETTER THAN THE PICTURES. If you’re looking for a place to hang all day and still enjoy Florida, this is the only house for you. Can’t wait to come back next year.

Vacation Family Trip

The property was great. The pool was very clean and the beds very comfortable. It was kid friendly (high chair, pack n play, and fence for pool). The property manager was friendly and helpful when we had questions on how to use the pool. The only thing we noticed was we were charged with using the electric on our stay there (meter was taken picture when we checked in and out). It was pretty pricey enough and then had to pay that before we could check out. Great place otherwise.

The house is as advertised - roomy - well appointed - fabulous pool / lanai/ dock space!RoomsTwo master suites each with king sized beds and extremely spacious private baths / walk-in closets.3rd room has king bed and privare bath as well.4th room has two twin beds.Each room has ceiling fans and upgraded TV’sPool area is entirely screened in - dock is very large and has seating etc outside!Highly recommend this property - The house sits at back end of neighborhood with limited street traffic. Very quiet.For those who want to go out to eat drink etc / endless options on Cape Coral and fort Myers.We were there for over a month and cooked at home frequently - kitchen is well appointed with higher end pots/ pans / knives etc.We bring our own spices etc and as imagined - there are plenty of food stores (Publix / Costco etc) close by!Property owner and property manager are extremely professional and attentive. We had no issue’s whatsoever!Great experience all around!

Pool/Spa Not Working

The house was very nice, it stated it slept 12 but it did not state 4 people would have to sleep on air mattresses or couches. The spa did not work 5 out of 6 nights until we contacted the property owner and the manager of the pool company came to repair it and show us how it works. Very frustrating when we booked this property over others for the pool/spa

We are ver ysorry that you missed all information provided on the website about the bedding situation. The property manager took action immediately like you explain and got someone to repair the spa. Noone could be ordered for a repair without being informed that the spa was not working. Too sad that you give us such a review for this outstanding house and prompt service on site after having been informed. According to the pool service and also your wording in the review - the spa worked properly. The pool service esplaned it to you again, after the property manager did that already during check in - it was not any failure of the spa.

Pool and Spa NEVER heated above 80 and owner lied about it! TOTAL SCAM!

The only reason we booked this property was for what looked to be a stunning pool and spa. We tried in vain to heat the pool to 85 degrees for the ENTIRE week and the spa to102 degrees and neither one got above 80/81. The pool boy finally arrived mid-week and had to have the lock cut from the outside controls only to find that the temp settings had been set to go no higher than 80! This tells me that the owners had this set at that temp and then locked the box so it couldn't be changed. I was in constant contact with the property manager who insisted that it was working just fine...it wasn't. What a waste of a trip. We would never have chosen this location if it wasn't for the pool/spa. The house was not that clean upon arrival. The outside garbage was overflowing and smelly and we were responsible for hauling it to the curb for pick-up. The washing machine stinks so bad that we were unable to wash our clothes. There are also RUBBER MATTRESS PADS on the beds which make for an uncomfortable and hot nights sleep. What also infuriates me is that after the enormous rental fee they want to charge you for electricity! Why should we pay that when we were unable to heat the pool and/or spa for the entire week! What a scam! We contacted VRBO to complain. They told us they contacted the owner who told them the pool temp was at 85 degrees which is a complete and total lie as I have pictures of the control panel showing said temp never going above 80. DO NOT RENT THIS PROPERTY

Beautiful Home & Pool

Home and heated pool were fantastic. Had dolphins and other wildlife swim near dock every day. House was stocked with all essential kitchen items for cooking and serving meals. Location was great. Couldn't ask for anything better. We hope to return with a larger group next time!

Simply the Best and Most Comfortable Home

We - 8 adults 2 kids - have been to this area for the past 7 years, and this was by far our favorite place! Beautiful location, sunsets and water views. This place was very clean and well equipped with every possible comfort of home we needed for a lovely time together cooking and relaxing. We started every morning with a cup of coffee at tiki hut watching the manatees and ended almost every day watching the glorious sun set over the canal. The lanai and pool area were gorgeous pool - they have thought of everything. It was very enjoyable and we spent several hours every day in the spa and the big pool we loved and often sat at the fire place at night. Everyone loved conversing, eating, enjoying music and soaking in the beautiful, long view of the wide canal. With 4 bedrooms and bathrooms, everyone got their space, but what was really nice is the large family and living room with the great kitchen that let you feel so very comfortable. The location of the property is great also. The neighbourhood is safe and very quiet. Owners and property manager are very friendly and supportive. We will definitely be coming back next year in the Spring to hopefully see the Manatees again!

Super Haus mit riesigem Pool

Das Caribbean Island Dolphin View ist ein nagelneues, fantastisch ausgestattetes und tip top sauberes Haus. Es fehlt wirklich an nichts - die Eigentümer haben wirklich an alles gedacht. Die 4 Schlafzimmer verfügen über sehr gute Betten (mit schöner deutscher Bettwäsche) sowie über große Flat-Screen TVs. Die Bäder sind sehr groß und bestens ausgestattet. Die Küche lässt keine Wünsche offen, es ist wirklich alles da und das in bester Qualität. Wohn- und Esszimmer bieten ausreichend Platz für 2-3 Familien. Es gibt einen schönen Spieltisch und einen voll gefüllten Spieleschrank sowie ein riesiges Heimkino. Das absolute Highlight ist der großzügige Pool mit Jacuzzi. Wir haben ein Boot einer Bootsvermietung über die Eigentümer dazugemietet, das direkt am hauseigenen Anleger lag. Wer nach Cape Coral reist, sollte unbedingt Haus und ein Boot mieten! Die Lage des Hauses Caribbean Island Dolphin View ist nahe am großen River. Dies ist zum Bootfahrten von großem Vorteil. Boot fahren ist das, was man hier machen sollte! Die Hausverwaltung hat uns pünktlich die Schlüssel übergeben, das Haus erklärt und uns tolle Tipps für Bootsausflüge, Restaurants etc. gegeben. Die Beschreibung des Hauses im Inserat war absolut korrekt.

Luxus im Paradies

Wir - drei befreundete Paare - fühlten uns in der bestens betreuten und top ausgestatteten Villa pudelwohl. Und tatsächlich, neben den Delphinen und den jagenden Tarpons die wir täglich vor dem Haus sahen, haben wir auch einmal ein Manatee beobachtet. Ein kleiner Tipp, den wir gerne weitergeben: die beste Strandbar mit toller Livemusik haben wir nach langer, langer Suche mit dem Boot entdeckt - sie ist gleich neben der nächsten Tankstelle nach der Brücke, das Boathouse. Ideal für den sunset drink. Von dort sind es nur mehr 15 Minuten bis "nach Hause"...

Gorgeous Home With An Amazing Pool

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, as the home is beautiful and the pool was stunning! The neighborhood is quite nice and watching the activity in the canal during the mornings was a real treat. There are plenty of stores and restaurants nearby, but the neighborhood itself is very quiet, which was great. The only issue we encountered is that the spa/hot tub heater was broke the entire time, which is why I’m giving this a 4-star rating rather than 5 stars. Other than that, the experience was wonderful.

Comparable to 5 star luxury resort

This is a very beautiful home. You can tell the quality of the house and all of it's contents are high end. We spent every day in the pool and spent most of our time hanging out under the lanai. The location is great to stores, beaches, & restaurants. Sanibel Island is a quick drive as is Fort Myers. The house manager, Sven, was great with answering any of our questions as well as Heidi, the co-owner. The house has lots of amenities. Folding chairs /umbrellas/cooler for a trip to the beach. There are pool toys (which we added chair floats). They have games, puzzles, books, etc. The kitchen is pretty stocked with utensils, cookware, containers, platters, etc. The pantry is cleared out probably due to covid. Tissues, towels, dish detergent, laundry detergent, trash bags are all supplied in the house. Paper towels, toilet paper (1 roll provided), napkins will need to be purchased. There are plenty of towels for the beach and pool. If you are looking for a gorgeous house with boat access 5 minutes from the main waterway ...this is the place to stay. Definitely worth using the dock and renting a boat for the week. They mention electricity due at end of week. Our bill was around $150. Plan max of $200. That pretty much sums up everything. Again, this is a gorgeous home that looks exactly as pictured. We had the best time ever. Would definitely stay again! A definite 5 star!!

Dolphin View was Wonderful

Everyone had a wonderful time due the the rental as well as the location in Cape Coral. We saw tarpon, dolphins & Manatees.
