Wonderful Winter Stay in Myrtle Beach

We had an amazing family getaway over winter break! We planned it on a whim and were a little nervous about visiting Myrtle Beach in the winter, but it was absolutely perfect. The kids loved all the Christmas festivities, walking on the beach collecting seashells, and swimming in the indoor pool (there’s a $20 refundable deposit). The place was very clean and exactly as pictured. It was perfect for our family, the beds were super comfortable, and watching the sunrise from the couch was such a special moment. We can’t wait to come back in the summer!

An Oasis by the Sea

WOW! First things first we saw the most beautiful sunrise directly on our balcony! This space was comfortable for our whole family and we were able to cook and share meals right around the table. We were right on the beach and had sunny beach days galore. We love this space and will book again and again! Thank you to our host! 10/10!

Peace and Quiet at the Beach

I had an absolutely amazing stay at the Warm Weather Escape with Pool Access in Myrtle Beach, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The fact that the property is right on the beach is a huge plus—you truly can’t beat being steps away from the ocean. The balcony view is breathtaking, and I loved spending time out there listening to the waves and enjoying the beautiful scenery both day and night. The room itself is stunning. The interior design is modern, stylish, and thoughtfully put together, making the space feel warm and inviting. It truly feels like a home away from home. The king-size bed was extremely comfortable, and the pillows were incredibly soft, which made it easy to relax and get a great night’s sleep.I also loved that every TV in the room had both Netflix and cable—such a nice touch that made it easy to unwind after a long day at the beach. Having access to the pool was another bonus and added to the overall relaxing experience. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and set up to make guests feel comfortable and welcome. Overall, this place is absolutely amazing. The location, comfort, beautiful design, and thoughtful amenities all come together to create a perfect stay. I felt completely at home here and would 100% recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable beach getaway. I can’t wait to come back!

The Kingston Plantation never disappoints... this was our first stay at the North Hampton Tower and we were impressed, beautiful 12th floor ocean views, the condo was clean and efficient, and the staff was friendly and helpful. This is a great, safe place to take your family in Myrtle Beach

If you like cleanliness this is not for you.

After driving 10+ hours to get to the condo and find it so dirty was very upsetting. We liked the building and location but the condo was filthy. Used tampon container in the floor by the dresser. Floors had so much sand on them. I have pictures to back this all up.

Not Best Stay

Unit was fairly nice but got there and was only 1 key. Dryer wasn't working. Washed a load of clothes and put in dryer and dryer came on but clothes wouldn't tumble. Had to hang clothes on hangers to dry. Couldn't wash bath towels or any clothes all week which was an inconvenience. Contact wouldn't return calls, texts or emails so had to contact Evolve Property who tried to call contact with no response and had to get owner of condo involved who had to get repairman to come out and look at dryer who had to order the part. Dryer never got fixed. We wouldn't stay in that unit again with the propery contact they currently have. .

Our goal is to ensure that our guests have a comfortable stay with us and to deliver elevated standards of hospitality. - We value the condition of our appliances in the home and we sincerely apologize for the issue with the dryer. We were informed that the dryer had broken down after the previous guests checked out, and there was only a 6-hour window before you arrived, and checked in, making it challenging to get it repaired in time. We arranged for appliance service personnel and they arrived within 24 hours of your check-in, but a replacement part was required. The part arrived in 5 days and was installed the day after you checked out. - We recognize the importance of ensuring guests have access to a quick and efficient guest contact. We are in the process of evaluating our options for improving our local Guest Contact service which will; thereby, provide improved guests assistance during their stay. We do all we can to make our homes the best possible stays, and we look forward to hosting many satisfied guests.

Love Kingston Plantation, cleaning could be better

As another reviewer symrataed the floors were dirty and the overall cleanliness could be better. FYI- the dryer is VERY hard to close and get to stay shut. Once it is shut, you have to turn the power on and bang numerous times on the door to get it to”lock” and get the red power Vuitton to show so you can run the dryer. Washer had to be restarted at least 2x before it would run a cycle. We notified both the on-site contact and Evolve and neither were able to help, so we just got used to fighting with the machines to get laundry done. Beds are very comfy, love the lighting in the unit, although the room with 2 beds could use more/brighter lighting. LOVE the huge balcony, but the furniture shown in the add is different than what is on the balcony and the furniture is not very comfy for bigger people. Would have been nice to have a few loungers as well, as there were only 6 chairs and a 4 person table. Door is kinda tricky to get into, I found the if you put the key in the knob and just turn to the right as far as you can and push it opens, but is heavy, then you have to hold the fire to pull hard to get the key back out. The only other, kinda big issue was there is only one key for the unit, so either everyone leaves together and stays together or someone is unable to leave the unit.

We stay at Kingston Plantation, North Hampton Tower every year. Unfortunately this year, our normal condo wasn’t available, so we rented this one. While the unit has some updated features, it was very dirty and smelled awful. The 2nd bedroom had a pink sticky substance splattered all over the floor, night stand and bed spread. The master bedroom bedspread was stained with a ketchup like substance. Furniture was dusty/dirty. Floors had dust bunnies and were dirty. There was stuff splattered on the walls. The mouldings were nice, but dusty/dirty. The balcony furniture was filthy. Door handle leading to balcony from living room was broken. Towel bar in the master bath was broken. I had emailed the guest contact before our arrival to see if we could check in early. I got a fairly fast response saying she was checking to see if the unit was ready. I never heard back after that, so we waited around until check in time. When we got there, the lock box wasn’t there. I called the guest contact and it turns out the keys were inside of the unit and the door was unlocked. While we can get past the check in faux pas, the uncleanliness of the condo made for an uncomfortable stay. Kingston Plantation is a great place to stay otherwise. Please note that the indoor pool has been closed for the last year due to COVID as well.

Torn... room almost as represented but pools were bait and switch

Property owner never made any contact with us. Property manager was available and responsive but unable to address the issues. Room pictures were as shown. A couple issues of dated items (squeaky doors and a shower head that only faced the curtain) but room was huge and pretty. The big problem with room was a broken dishwasher. Manager texted me day of checkin (Wednesday) and said DW was broke and she was trying to get maintenance in. Maint didnt show up until Thursday and said it was too big a job for him. It would have to wait for repairman who only comes on Wednesdays! Heard from mgr what we had already figured out - it needed replaced but that wouldnt happen until at least Sunday - the day we check out. The biggest problem was the pool. The pictures show a spectacular pool area with a zero entry pool. We could see it from our balcony. Went down to it the first night ony to learn it closes at 8:00 PM (!) and you need wristbands which we didnt have. Talked to building manager in the morning. He said they belong to the neighbor property and we arent allowed. He said it isnt the first time their owners posted pics of it but what can he do.... Contacted the property manager and asked how often the owner used Bait and Switch. She said oh, you must mean the pool. Between the pool and the dishwasher, she said she would try to get owner to compensate us. WE NEVER HEARD FROM OWNER and have been back for 1.5 weeks now. For the room, overall I would stay again as it was beautiful and spacious. Things break but we should have been compensated. The lie about the pool though is what angers us. There is a pool that we used but it was very small - especially considering it served two high rises with a potential 250+ rooms of occupants.

Hi Lisa, the homeowner has asked us to pass along the following response: - Thank you for spending your family vacation with us. We know that you had many other properties available to you, and we appreciate that you choose us. - Regarding the broken dishwasher, we apologize for the inconvenience. To state the obvious, suppliers were not able to deliver a replacement before the end of your stay. As you may have seen at the time in the news, there was a severe shortage of new home appliances due to the COVID-19 pandemic-related global shutdown. - Regarding access to the Hilton Hotel pool, as is stated in the description of this property, access to the Hilton Hotel and Embassy Suites pools are not included in the rental of the property. Access to those pools is managed separately. - The North Hampton building, however, does have its own dedicated indoor (understandably closed currently due to COVID-19 rules) and outdoor pools that are accessible by only North Hampton dwellers. Great Rental

When receiving the check-in instructions, did not receive the room number. This made it a little challenging at the guard stand at the gate entrance. We were very quickly able to get in touch with the rental company evolve, and receive this information. The condo was great, but with every condo rental, you experience issues or challenges. Evolve made it very easy to communicate these challenges and we had a great Thanksgiving vacation!

Perfect area

The grounds were well kept and the area the condo was situated was perfect for us. The view was spectacular and the unit was well equipped. Although, cleaning of the condo needs some improvement, in particular the floors. Additionally, do not count on using the pool that is shown in the photos from the view of the balcony, it belongs to another complex and the North Hampton complex doesn’t have access to it. The pool for this condo is way smaller. Beach area was clean and a short walk from the building. Overall, we enjoyed our two week stay. A slight improvement in the cleaning of the condo and it would be a 5 star for us!

Condo

The building, it’s location, the very large balcony, and it’s side ocean view I would rate a 4.9. I would rate the condo itself a 4.0 It was clean and spacious, but needs updating. The two beds in the guest room both need new box springs. Two of the upholstered chairs need to be replaced because the springs are shot. The right sided sink in the master bath does not drain well and has an odor.

Is it just me?

When we got there the lockbox was jammed. Called the number and they were on their way. We had reservations with another couple we were meeting, finally after numerous tries my grandson finally got it to pop open. Everything was beautiful but floor felt like it had sand and had not been vacuumed well. . Half-roll of toilet paper in bathroom and no more to be found. Same with paper towels, and just one pack for dishwasher. Place was very quite. T.V. in living room would not connect at times and would say please wait. You could hear sound but no picture. Other t.v.s in bedroom worked fine even though back was off one remote. Everything else worked great but thought you might want to know for the next renter. Beautiful place and loved the view.

The condo itself was very clean and neat. If I had one complaint it would be the lack of communication with anyone with questions I had about the keys for condo. I did not know what the keys were used for once we got there. There were 2 for the outside doors which were not explained. I had to asked downstairs the next day. Also, I texted our contact person on Saturday of check in to make sure we could check in on time and never heard back. The views of the beach were great and the building was very quiet and beds were very comfortable. Other than lack of communication the stay was very enjoyable.

Wonderful stay

I love this property! It was a fantastic experience for me and my family. The views were spectacular and we had access to all pools and direct access to the beach. We will definitely be staying here again! Just a couple things to note: The refrigerator takes a day to get cold, so do your shopping the next day. The host was WONDERFUL in jumping in when we thought it didn’t work. The living room rug is not great for infants so put a blanket over it. They don’t have NFL network in case you’re traveling during football season. Lovely place, amazing views, 10/10!
