We regret that this situation occurred. As you indicated we were very accommodating as we want all our guests to enjoy their stay at our beach home. You were clearly informed of the conditions that needed to be met prior to having a pet on the premises, as well as the parking accommodations. We did not expect such disregard for the house rules that were given to you in writing and verbally. Multiple attempts were made by both VRBO and our property management team to contact you and have you correct the issue quietly so as not to disrupt your stay. All calls and texts from VRBO and our property management team were ignored. VRBO recommended that security or other local authorities become involved. Only after notification via text regarding security involvement—requesting that you contact us and correct the issues—was a response received. Please note that we maintain a zero-tolerance policy for house rule violations to protect the property and surrounding community. While we have not previously experienced a situation of this nature, we recognize that larger groups can present challenges, which is why we strongly recommend that the primary guest share all house rules with their group in advance. We have hosted guests at our beach home for more than 20 years without any issues. We maintain an open communication policy with our guests and consider all one-off requests that will enhance the enjoyment of their beach house stay.
