Genießen Sie Ihren erholsamen Kurzurlaub in den Bergen in unserem wunderschönen Bergheim in Florissant, CO, perfekt für ein Paar, das einen gemütlichen romantischen Kurzurlaub sucht oder sich mit 8 bis 10 Freunden und der Familie trifft! Dieses abgelegene Haus liegt eingebettet auf einem Hügel auf 3 Hektar Land, umgeben von Espen und Kiefern, mit Blick auf das Florissant Heights-Tal in der Nähe des Crystal Peak Mountain und mit Blick auf den Pikes Peak! Die enorme Wand von 10 Fenstern bietet einen 28 'hohen Panoramablick auf die Natur rund um das Haus. Die holzverkleidete Gewölbedecke im Wohnzimmer lädt zum Entspannen ein. Während Sie sie nicht sehen können, leben Vollzeitnachbarn gleich nebenan und Teilzeitnachbarn sind auf der anderen Straßenseite nicht zu sehen. Es gibt eine heiße Wanne, die 6-8 auf dem 1300 sqft der Plattform passt, die um 3 Seiten des Hauses wickelt. Ein Grill zum Grillen und Sitzen rundum sorgt für Unterhaltung im Freien und Spaß an einem schönen Sommerabend. Die 1.100 m² große Terrasse eignet sich perfekt für Rasenspiele wie Riesen-Jenga, Riesen-Connect-4, Sitzsackwurf (Cornhole) und vieles mehr! Es gibt sogar eine Reifenschaukel und eine Hängematte zum Entspannen! Im Inneren finden Sie das Hauptschlafzimmer Loft mit Blick auf das Wohnzimmer und einen atemberaubenden Blick auf die Berge, wenn Sie morgens die Augen öffnen. "Es gibt einen Kamin zum Kuscheln an kalten Winternächten" und wir haben einen Fernseher mit DISH-Satellitenempfang, einen DVD-Player und einen Videorecorder zum Ansehen einer großen Auswahl an Filmen und sogar einen originalen NES "!!
Für diejenigen, die nach Mobilfunkempfang suchen, ist dies der richtige Ort, da wir bei den meisten Mobilfunkanbietern Netzempfang haben (Verizon funktioniert am besten, AT & T nicht so gut). Die voll ausgestattete Küche ist groß genug, um gemeinsam Mahlzeiten zuzubereiten, und der eigene Speisesaal bietet Sitzgelegenheiten für alle, die zusammensitzen und das hausgemachte Essen genießen möchten. Außerdem haben wir Brettspiele und ein paar Bücher sowie einen Billardtisch im Keller für mehr Unterhaltung im Haus. Sie sind nur ca. 40 km vom Woodland Park und ca. 15 Minuten von Lebensmitteln, Spirituosengeschäften, Restaurants usw. entfernt. Es gibt unzählige Wanderwege, State Parks und das Wolf-Heiligtum (über die Wolf-Begegnung werden Sie jahrelang sprechen) in der Nähe. Cripple Creek ist nicht weit für Casino-Glücksspiele und Sie sind etwa 90 Minuten entfernt von Breckenridge zum Skifahren. Der 11-Meilen-Stausee ist nur etwa 30 Minuten zum Angeln und Bootfahren entfernt. Und es gibt sogar den Nordpol, Pikes Peak, Wildwasser-Rafting, ATV-Verleih, Reiten, fossile Betten, ein Dinosaurier-Museum, großartige lokale Brauereien, mehrere Golfplätze, Seilrutschbahnen, Cave of the Winds, Garden von den Göttern und vielem mehr, ALLES nur eine kurze Autofahrt entfernt. Oder bleiben Sie in der Hütte, um etwas Abgeschiedenheit und gute, altmodische Familienzeit zu erleben! This is an absolutely gorgeous house with incredible views and really nice amenities. We really enjoyed our stay. The only thing we would say is the interior needs a bit of an update, and the photos make the apartment look nicer than it actually is in real life. Don’t get me wrong, it’s incredible, but some of the furnishings feel a bit old. Highly recommended, would stay again.

This cabin has gorgeous views and is well stocked (games, books, cards, pool table, hot tub, fire pit, plenty of kitchen supplies). Deer come right up to the deck each morning and night. I am not sure why others have made comments in their review about the cabin needing improvements. I disagree. It’s a cabin in the mountains. You should not expect this to be the equivalent of a penthouse suite in a downtown hotel. It’s an amazing mountain cabin. Any questions we had, Conrad was quick to answer. Definitely a 5-star stay.

The view from the home was breathtaking! Very spacious inside and outside. The home was equipped with two washers and two dryers which was nice if you have quite a few people staying. The bath towels did need to be washed when we arrived bc they had a terrible odor to them, but that was a simple fix. There is no central air or heat, just a small window type unit in the living room. We stayed late August to early September and the weather was gorgeous. Having the windows open was enough to keep the home comfortable without needing to use the small unit in the living area, but I’d imagine it can warm up pretty good during the summer months. Overall my family really enjoyed the home and the location. We wanted remote, in the mountains, and that’s exactly what we got staying here. Our kids (ages 7,5 and 1) had a fantastic time exploring the outdoors and playing with the books and games provided by the home. Definitely recommend staying here!!

We had a great time here on our family vacation! Giving 4 stars for a few things but would still recommend, we truly did enjoy our stay! PROS:The views are amazing! Quiet secluded place, with hardly any neighbors near by. Wildlife around; chipmunks, hummingbirds & deer. Hot tub & pool table! Both were super fun & sold us on this rental!Grill & picnic table outside were perfect for saving some money and eating at home a few nights! Dining room table inside was also large & nice!Nice gas fire pit with lots of comfy chairs, we made s'mores a few nights!Every time we needed something the property manager was quick to respond. CONS:You can see in the photos, but the master bedroom is open to the living room below, no wall or door. The master bathroom is also open to the bedroom, no door.The listing says shampoo in bathrooms, there was no products besides hand soap. Thankfully we packed our own so wasn't a big deal but take note.We had a few small issues with the house; master shower wouldn't drain, no kleenexes, the kitchen was not very stocked.The front door doesn't shut well. It seems like a safe area but I would consider this the biggest issue. We used a barstool to prop under it at night to add extra security. We had men with us & they brought their guns so we didn't feel unsafe but if it would have just been us women I would have felt unsafe with the door.

Our family really enjoyed the stay at this Home just 5 min. from Florissant, Colorado. Secluded, yet had neighbors near by. The deck was huge and the view of the mountain ranges was tremendous. Pikes Peak in the morning was unbelievable. Hot tub was clean and wonderful, gas fire pit on the lower patio under the stars was also wonderful. Bathrooms were a "bit" aging but clean. Kitchen had everything you need to prepare meals. We will likely stay again the future. Host was prompt in answering questions. We didn't have any issues to address.

We loved our stay at this cabin home!!! The views are awesome, loved the big deck in front for mountain gazing and watching the wild life. The deer came and went, and lots of little chipmunks darting everywhere, so cute. Also enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub, grilling, and we roasted marshmallows by the gas fire pit every evening. The kids thought that was a highlight. They also played a lot in the basement, and explored the yard. All in all just a wonderful place to relax and unwind! Check in was easy and the hosts are super about answering questions, etc. We would come back again!!!

We booked this cabin for a 70th birthday gathering for my family, including grandparents, parents, and multiple grandkids, and while the property and location are absolutely beautiful, there were number of things that marred our trip and overall experience. The water stopped functioning twice during our stay and we had to fix it, the front door lock malfunctioned and kept us outside with babies at one point, and the trash was not collected due to delinquent payment notice. There were unsafe items, particularly for kids that needed maintenance, like sharp broken tiles, glass and exposed nails. There were glaring oversights, like exposed metal bed frames in the kids bedroom, and dirty carpets. To Conrad's credit, he talked us through the water problem remotely, and was responsive to us when we reached out, but there were recurrent issues with the cabin, and the stay. The location is absolutely beautiful, the cabin was the perfect size for our group, but ultimately there are things the owner needs to attend to.

This house was perfect for our family of 10. Plenty of space for all. Nice to have everything you need for small children. Hot tub and fire pit were big hits for all of us. Any question or concern we had was quickly taken care of. The views from the deck were amazing!

Our stay in this home was great. The directions given were extremely helpful and any questions or calls were answered quickly. Home was clean except one of the comforters in the bunk bed room smelled strongly of urine. If I had to guess a previous guest had an accident and the sheets got washed but not the comforter. Nice, Roomy Home With Beautiful View!

We definitely enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. The host was very responsive and accommodating. The view was amazing, and the house was filled with games, a pool table, a corn hole set, etc. which were a lot of fun to use. The place could use a little TLC to remove broken lawn furniture, extra countertop appliances (like 4 coffee makers—some probably not functional), games with missing pieces, a wine glass that somebody melted and left in the cabinet, worn out couches, and mini blinds that had to be manually tilted open. There was also a sign on the Jacuzzi tub in the master bathroom stating that it should not be used. That didn’t matter to us because we didn’t want to use it anyway, but if it needs to be repaired, that should be done or it should be removed from the advertisement. Also, one of the bedrooms had boards laying against one of the walls, and a highchair halfway in a closet and halfway in the room. It just didn’t look as nice as the rest of the house.We definitely would recommend the property if you’re looking for something away from a lot of people and you don’t mind driving on roads that are a little rough. It just might be a good idea for the owner to do an inventory and clean out some things that should be thrown out or replaced.

Great stay in Florissant!

Our 3 families had a great time here and really enjoyed the peaceful location. We spent a ton of time at the firepit and on the patio. The owners were very responsive and helpful. We loved being a short drive away from a ton of activities.Our kids all had a blast playing pool, Cornhole, and running around the property. Definitely recommend and would return here on a future vacation!

Perfect place for a family celebration. Celebrated our daughter‘s 25th birthday. Plenty of room for all 6 of us. Enjoyed the Jacuzzi with Mountain View’s. The views are so much better than the online photos! It is a drive away from local groceries, etc. so make sure you have everything you need on the way in.

Spring Break with Elderly Parents

Over all the stay was worth it, the views were amazing, the place was warm and the fire stove and pool table were nice. I did not use the hot tub because there were so many other things to do. They have a gas fireplace which we were allowed to use, however we chose not to as to not to risk any unintentional fires due to a red flag fire ban for most of our week stay. A few things our host should improve on; maintenance and modifying the description as it is a little misleading. There was a decent amount of dust on the furniture and floors and there were also some cob webs throughout the living spaces. The humidifiers needed to be cleaned prior to first use. All the bathrooms did not have soap and shampoo as described. I knew the master bedroom was loft style, however a wall or door should separate the master bathroom from the bedroom. The lack of a wall resulted in the master bathroom being useless when other people were home, unless you didn't mind the noises or smells.There were a few things that were broken, these items should be removed or replaced, the outdoor tower heater along with some seating was found under the deck damaged. The rail for the master bed and a sofa was also broken. The fire extinguisher was empty and there was a 12" x 24" patch of sheetrock missing in the laundry room. I have some before and after images of the spaces or items I cleaned. Hopefully the host takes this constructively and not defensively as previous reviews have shown.

Secluded splendor

Large, spacious, clean with plenty of activities for every age group . We enjoyed the hot tub, pool table, corn hole, and s’mores over the gas fire pit to name a few. The biggest attraction is the large number of mule deer that roam the property and adjacent properties all hours of the day

Beautiful home

Wonderful stay a great cabin trip with my family. Host was excellent especially with the communication. I recommend staying here we had a blast.

Great views

The views were great and the space was a good size for our group to play games. However, there werent any cleaning supplies we could easily find, and a lot of the dishes had food stuck to them or smudges/grime. There also arent many baking dishes if you plan on baking a lot. My biggest complaint was the bed in the basement wasnt supported by an actual bed frame but by little 2 by 4s just shoved under it that would fall out if you put too much weight in any one spot. The views and the hot tub were the main reason we hooked, and in that aspect this place definitely didnt dissapoint

When my wife and I saw photos of this mountain home, we thought it was too good to be true. We'd spent multiple trips in the Pikes Peak area, camping and renting VRBO cabins ourselves. The moment we walked into this particular cabin, we knew we had to make it our own. The amazing view of Pikes Peak out the 28' wall of windows immediately drew us in. The hot tub, tons of outdoors space, and the secluded 3 acres sealed the deal! This is our getaway to host friends and family for many, many years to come and we're excited to share it with you too.

The moment you wake up in the master bedroom and see the incredible view of majestic mountains out of the front windows, you will never want to leave! We love the spacious dining room for hosting guests and family. My wife and I have sat in the hot tub many times, in awe of the universe, while enjoying its therapeutic warmth. If you arise from your slumber early enough, you'll absolutely cherish the peaceful moments on the deck, sipping a hot cup of coffee while witnessing nature coming alive for the day. If you're lucky, you'll catch the most stunning scene of the sun glistening off of the morning dew or frost. And then there's our friendly deer who love to come visit and will come right up to you! We suspect that before you leave, you'll be booking your next trip back (and we'll be thrilled to have you)!
