House was extremely well equipped in the kitchen. Driveway hard to negotiate. Reading lights needed….all lights are a bit dim for reading.Master tub very hard to get in and out of unless you are very agile! Bed very high….hard to get into for a relatively short person, especially if they are elderly.Overall we had a lovely time….fireplace was great. The house overall is very pretty. We appreciate being able to bring our dog.

Great property….but if you are a shorter person…the beds are very high. So come prepared with a step stool as there are none on the property, and the host did not have one either. I had to buy a case of soda to stand on to get in bed. Otherwise buy a stool myself, and I already have too many at home to pay 50 for another one…the least expensive I could find. Other than that, everything was perfect, and I would stay there again….but bring a step stool!

Beautiful location

Accommodations were good. Close to everything. Wonderful trails to hike on. Great restaurants. Cell service was non existent in the house, internet was slow and sometimes not reliable.

A Great Summer Getaway!

We had a wonderful time at this property! The cottage/cabin was spacious, clean and well appointed for a week’s stay. The location was perfect for week of exploring and hiking. The number of waterfalls that were within a 30 minute drive gave us plenty of options for our daytime adventures. Access to the Sapphire Valley Resort was close by for swimming, putt-putt and other activities. We hope to return in the future.

Great house but no peace & quiet

This was a sweet cabin in the woods. One thing not pointed out in the description was it was directly off of Rte 64. No peace & quiet - non stop traffic on porches. Even from Master you knew people were starting to head to work at 4 or 5. Now, the proximity to restaurants- market - Cashiers was excellent. So if traffic doesn’t bother you this cabin is awesome. Clean so well equipped!! A trade off?!

Beautiful & Great Location

The cabin is beautiful, truly, and it is in an excellent location. We saw deer while out walking. We had a little problem with a soiled rug when we arrived, but it was under an ottoman, which we moved, so we have to give them the benefit of the doubt that it was hidden from the cleaners. In the kids room with the bunk beds it appears someone before us knocked the beds into the wall and caused small holes. Some of the doors are hurricane doors, so you have to hold the door knob up and then lock it, which is weird & I had to call to ask how to operate the locks. The rental company was responsive each time, and I would recommend this cabin.

Good value

We needed a place to stay with a small dog. This place was very nice and clean. Very spacious for a two bedroom. It was great to be able to take out dog across to the Sapphire resort for walks. It is a little out of the way from Highlands, but close enough to everything else.

Terrific Thanksgiving

Morning Mist was the perfect spot for a little getaway. Place was clean, well stocked, beds were comfy. Loved the porches and being able to hang out on those with the pup. Definitely will come back, it was a wonderful Thanksgiving of relaxing!

Nice cabin - close to everything

Cabin was very well maintained. Only problem was our dryer didn't initially work but I called the main number and when they couldn't get a repair technician out, the on-call person drove 30 minutes and thankfully got it to work. If it didn't work, they had options, so I was very impressed!

Misty Mountain

This house was great! Spacious and accomadating. It is newly built so all aspects are fresh and new. Location is great to Sapphire amentities (short drive). You're able to hear the road, but it is not a bother. The other homes are spread out so you are not on top of each other. The porches are peaceful. Will definitely be here again next year.

Great rental. Everything was upscale, clean and visually pleasing. Efficient kitchen, appliances. internet TV. The location was very good for hiking locally and in Highlands and Pigah national forest. Gorges state park and Lake Glennville were nice hidden pleasures. The management was very helpful and had excellent communications. Could not have asked for more on all counts.
