Mein Platz liegt in der Nähe des Garner State Park (3 Meilen), des Lost Maples Park, des Frio River, von Concan, Utopia, Kerrville und Uvalde. Die berühmten drei Schwestern (beste Fahrstraßen in den USA) Sie werden meinen Platz wegen der Lage, des Ambiente und des Platzes im Freien lieben. Mein Platz ist gut für Paare, Alleinreisende, Familien (mit Kindern), große Gruppen und pelzige Freunde (Haustiere). Haustiere kosten zusätzlich 15 USD pro Haustier und Nacht.
4 Personen - Diese Kabine bietet ein Queensize-Bett, zwei Einzelbetten, eine voll ausgestattete Küche, ein Bad, Wärme und Luft, einen Picknicktisch und einen Grill.
Diese Kabine enthält Folgendes:
Voll ausgestattete Küche mit Kühlschrank, Herd, Mikrowelle, Kaffeekanne, Toaster, Kochgeschirr, Geschirr und Besteck zur Zubereitung von Mahlzeiten.
Grillplatz und Picknicktisch mit Grillutensilien.
Überdachte Veranda mit Gartenmöbeln zum Sitzen, Plaudern, Lesen oder einfach nur zum Genießen der wunderschönen Aussicht auf das Texas Hill Country!
Jedes Bett hat eine Steppdecke, Kissen und eine Matratzenauflage.  Sie müssen Ihre eigenen Laken (Queen & 2 Twins) und Handtücher mitbringen.
Kostenloses WLAN - Country Wifi ist für einfache SMS b / c Telefonservice ist nicht immer großartig. Es ist nicht zum Arbeiten oder Herunterladen von Musik / Filmen vorgesehen.

Cute Cabin

We stayed here for 4 nights while our kids and grandkids camped 4 minutes away on the Frio River. Very convenient for us and looked forward to the A/C at the end of the day. Has everything you would need or want in a rental. The bathroom is fairly small and could use some updating. Beds were comfy. Would stay here again.

decent place to stay. close to the highway so can be noisy. property entrance can be dangerous to exit since its on the back side of a hill with high speed traffic.

Sufficient River Stay Close to Garner

The cabin was nothing fancy and probably could have used a few updates, but it was clean, comfortable and close to the river. Perfect if you need a place to crash before and after your outdoor activities.

Bigger than it looks

We had a great time and the cabin is bigger than the pictures show. Tons of space for the kids to run around outside and have fun. Less than 5 minutes to Leakey!

Humble stay

The property is cute and functional. Roomy enough for the family for sure. Almost everything we wanted to do was a 5 min drive away. My only complaint is the tiny bathroom. We reallyenjoyed th beautiful scenery and bbq /bonfire opportunities. Was a great stay and fits a budget.

Weekend at Garner State Park

My husband and I really enjoyed our weekend stay at the Ranch Cabin at Whiskey Mountain. We traveled here for our 4th anniversary and found everything just as pictured. The cabin isn't super fancy, but it is cute, cozy, and has everything you need. Upon arrival, the A/C was turned on and code made it easy to get in. During the day we hiked and enjoyed the fall weather at Garner with our pooch. We really enjoyed being able to enjoy the outdoors and then get a nice shower and bed to sleep in. Overall we would recommend Whiskey Mountain Inn to anyone looking for a simple cabin with everything you need for a getaway in the hill country.

A/C was adequate & one even has a heat option which came in handy in the morning when it was 52 degrees! A but rustic for older folks, as we are in our 70s. Could have used a couch instead of the extra twin bed. Maybe a sofa bed would be a better option. That would provide comfy seating & sleeping space. A bit remote but if that's your thing, it's good. Beautiful area of Texas. Too early for leaf color though.

Convenient and Comfortable stay

Quick boys trip to float the river. Location was convenient to Happy Hollow for launch and cabin was comfortable, easily accessible and just what we needed. Firepit was great for smores each night. Great communication throughout the booking and stay process.

Great getaway!

We enjoyed the property. Stayed 2 nights. The only thing was bathroom is tiny. My husband hit his elbow on the soapbox twice.He wasn’t too happy about that. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

Family trip

My partner, mother in law, child and myself came to Leakey for a race my boyfriend was doing. We needed a place to stay that also allowed dogs as my dog has cancer and only a couple months to live. We found this cute place that was the perfect fit! The host shared a lot of helpful information for the town before we arrived. The decor was cute and there were grills and swings around for my child to play with. The only downside was the door was not always the easiest to open. We loved this place and would visit again.

The location, although not on the river was great. Did not see the property manager once which I didn’t mind. Their convenience store was never open. The cabin itself was poorly made with the cheapest materials. The bathroom was so tiny that my knees and head hit the wall trying to use. The shower needs a definite make over. Three quarter tub with your gradmother’s old pink tile. The walls are plywood. Kitchen adequate. Appreciated the full size fridge. Dining table was great. Porch was covered and large but needs a new paint job. Mattresses were old. Flying bugs were a problem; now I know why they provide a flyswatter. Two small ac units were adequate except no air flow in Bathroom. The grounds were quiet and restful. Despite my evaluation, I would be willing to stay there again by myself, but not sure I would bring my family there.

My name is Cassie Hurles, I have always lived in Texas (Dallas & Houston Areas) and all my summers were spent at the Frio River area. I met my husband, Darren (Daz) in 2001 while he was working here in the states. He moved here from Scotland in 2001. We then had our son, Connor in February 2004 and our daughter, Isla in May 2008. The first time I took my husband to the Frio River he fell in love and we kept the family tradition going with our kids, making it a must every year. Then we moved to the beautiful Texas Hill Country in April 2015 & bought Whiskey Mountain Inn on July 22, 2016. We are looking forward to this new adventure.

The famous three sisters (best driving roads in the USA) You’ll love my place because of the location, the ambiance, and the outdoors space. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), big groups, and furry friends (pets), Pets are an additional $15 per pet, per night.
