Das Four Frio Sisters ist ein charmantes neues Haus auf einem Hügel im Herzen des schönen Texas Hill Country. Sie können die fantastische Aussicht und die millionenschweren Sonnenuntergänge von einer Schaukel auf der Veranda aus genießen oder mit Freunden auf der überdachten Veranda eine Partie Domino spielen. Marshmallows in der Feuerstelle braten, am offenen Kamin entspannen, Boccia spielen, Krocket spielen, Steaks grillen oder auf einer Bank sitzen und die Tierwelt beobachten und Tagträumen sind nur einige der möglichen Aktivitäten im Freien. Für die Kleinen und Junggebliebenen gibt es ein Taumelspiel. Am Ende des Tages können Sie in unserer privaten Außendusche unter freiem Himmel duschen.

Einmal im Haus können Sie alle Annehmlichkeiten von zu Hause mit einem Texas Land Charme genießen. Rund um unseren Kamin und den großen, offenen Dachboden gibt es viel Platz für Unterhaltung. Die Küche ist voll ausgestattet mit Geschirr, Besteck und Kochgeschirr. Es gibt Bücher zum Lesen und ein Fernglas, mit dem Sie die wild lebenden Tiere und Vögel im Frio Canyon beobachten können. Öffnen Sie nachts die Fenster, um die kühle frische Luft und die Geräusche der umliegenden Landschaft zu genießen.

Four Frio Sisters ist nur wenige Autominuten vom Frio River, Garner State Park und Leakey, TX, entfernt. Der Three Sisters Drive ist ebenfalls nur wenige Minuten entfernt. Das Naturschutzgebiet Lost Maples State befindet sich nur 40 km entfernt.

In der Region Frio Canyon können Sie das ganze Jahr über Aktivitäten wie Schläuchen / Kajakfahren mit dem Frio im Sommer, Herbstlaub im Herbst, Wandern / Jagen im Winter und Wildblumen im Frühling nachgehen. Our little family had such an AMAZING time at the Four Frio Sisters’ cabin! It was cozy and inviting, and the owners were available to answer any questions that we had right from the start. Our littlest loved the rope swing, and our older two made core memories roasting marshmallows for s’mores over the fire pit. We will definitely be back!

Good times

Had a great time in spite of the river fooding the house was very comfortable. We have been vacationing in the area for many years and found it a great location. Coffee on the porch was my favorite.

Quiet Country Getaway

Wonderful cabin in a beautiful area!

This was a perfect place to stay for our weekend touring the area. The cabin is homey and comfortable and had everything we needed. The location is great — just a few minutes away from Garner State Park and less than a hour away from Lost Maples. We had a wonderful weekend and would recommend this cabin to anyone!

Best family vacation!

It was a very nice and cozy property with great amenities. It was fun from when we arrived until we left. I cannot wait to come back because of how beautiful the scenery is. Although it was hot when we were there, the shade the trees provide definitely kept us very cool and made hanging outside tolerable.

Perfect weekend getaway!

First time bringing our four children. They had a blast! Swam in the river then back to the house to swing, climb trees and run and play. BBQ & S'mores at night with star gazing. The house and property were perfect for our needs. Wonderful trip! Can't wait to come back again!

Frio Fun

Our family celebrated Father’s Day weekend at the Four Frio Sisters Cabin! We had the MOST amazing time, napping in the hammock, s’mores by the fire, campfire songs, and swimming in the Frio River! The location is perfect to get to Garner State Park. The cabin is roomy and adorable. The pictures do NOT do it justice! We can’t wait to come back!

What we expected

Overall the cabin was what we expected. Having no linens and no cleaning service was somewhat strange, but the heat worked well and the proximity to Garner and Lost Maples was great.

We are so happy you enjoyed your stay at Four Frio Sisters! We are conveniently located to the Frio River, Garner State Park and Lost Maples and our cabin does offer central A/C and heat. We do of course have a housekeeping service who come in and clean after your departure, not a daily service during your stay. We do ask you to bring your bedsheets, pillowcases and towels as stated on the website. This is a common practice in many of the Frio area rentals due to high turnover in occupancy and limited cleaning services in the small town of Leakey. We so appreciate your business and would love to have you return in the future to our little piece of paradise!

Diane and Farley grew up in Corpus Christi, TX and continue to call it home. The 'Four Sisters' are our daughters, now ranging in age from 35 to 26. They were very excited when we decided to name our dream vacation home after them. We have been visiting the Frio River for as long as we can remember and decided to buy property and build our dream a few years ago. Four Frio Sisters is a home we built with our own hands and the help of many friends and family members. What a task and experience it was! We are so proud of our place in the country. We have already built life long memories with our family and friends. We are pleased that we get to share it with our guests. We know that those who visit us will be refreshed and leave with unforgettable memories. We stand amazed at the multitude of blessings God has heaped upon our family and give all thanks to Him for his grace and mercy.

When driving through the Texas Hill Country we often think 'this can't be south Texas'. What a beautiful and wonderful part of the state. The Frio River is so majestic and soothing to the soul. It is also a great place to frolic and play for all ages. There is nothing like opening the windows at night to feel the fresh air and hear the sounds of the country. Leakey is the perfect getaway from the city. It is 100% Small Town America!
