Cute little apartment. Very clean. The patio, pool and landscaping are beautiful. We were here for Desert Storm activities on the Lake. This place is a quick easy drive to the main events including London Bridge. We would definitely stay again.

Kate, we take it seriously when guests let us know that we missed the mark, and after sending your feedback to the homeowner, they’d like to share the following: "Kate, we went to the apartment at your request regarding this issue. We could not find any odor. The apartment has its own filtration system and the filters are changed every couple of months. We checked with the guests before and after you and no one else noticed any odor. The only thing we can think of is that there is an odor due to the city resurfacing the streets. Your review is very confusing considering you raved about the apartment and how nice it was decorated we wish you would have contacted us during your stay, we would have been happy to go over and see if we could find out where the odor was coming from? We truly go above and beyond for our guests, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays!"

The worst rental i have ever stayed.

Extremely diappointing. Pictures of living room ,dining room and kitchen ette, all in one room approx 14× 16. No stove, no oven, no kitchen sink. When you sat at dining table, you couldnt open frig. NO fire escape route. Grill, pool very dirty. No usable pool chairs. Bedroom closet 1/2 full of owners property. Owner and/ or his dogs in our space daily. Owner very rude and unaccomadating.

Our listing accurately represents the configuration of the living room, dining area, and kitchenette, which are indeed in one room measuring approximately 14×16. We understand that preferences vary, and we encourage guests to thoroughly review the listing before booking, to ensure they find the perfect vacation home for their needs.-Regarding the kitchen amenities, our listing clearly states that there is no stove or oven provided. However, we do offer alternative cooking options and facilities to ensure our guests' comfort. As a gesture of goodwill, we provided a barbecue grill. However, it's regrettable to hear about the damage done to the grill during your stay.-Regarding the pool and grill area, we strive to maintain a clean and inviting environment for all our guests. While unexpected weather conditions can sometimes lead to debris in the pool, we promptly address any cleanliness issues as soon as they are brought to our attention.-As for the presence of the owner and their pets, please rest assured that we respect our guests' privacy and strive to minimize any intrusion into their space. The dogs have a separate designated area on the property and do not enter the guest accommodation.-Regarding the items in the bedroom closet, we provide additional amenities such as extra blankets, air mattresses, and dining chairs for our guests' convenience. The closet is 10 feet long and has built-in shelves with plenty of hanging space.Negative reviews have the potential to adversely affect our property owners, and we trust that forthcoming guests will be able to overlook the impact of this particular review. Very clean, well decorated, comfortable one bedroom apartment style rental attached to the main house. We highly recommend it for two people. There is also a nice pool with towels provided. The driveway is steep with flat parking on top. Don't bring your low slung sportscar!

The owner and her son are top notch, extremely personable. Loved the pool and unique decor. Super comfy and perfect escape for a couple of nights. Would definitely recommend these accommodations to couples or singles visiting the city or taking a river trip this summer.

A horrible experience!!!!!! Stay away!!!!!

Right before booking the property I contacted the property manager/owner Beverly. At that point Beverly was very professional and responsive. I asked if it was possible to have 4 people stay at the rental as my college aged son’s basketball season may end earlier which would enable him to join. She called back and explained that the space may be tight but she was absolutely fine with having four people if we were comfortable. She also explained that she and her son live on the property and would be accessible for any questions/concerns. When we arrived at the property, Beverly’s son, Brett gave a brief tour of the property. He showed the pool area and noted there was a stack of 3 or 4 chairs in the corner that were broken by their last renters. Within about 1/2 hour of being in the home, the temperature in the home was 78 degrees. We texted Beverly and did not hear back for 4-5hrs. We reached out again and her som Brett came over and was extremely impatient and insulting as he attempted to adjust the thermostat. Luckily it was a cooler evening so we opened up windows in order to sleep. The following morning and early afternoon, my son, daughter, husband and I spent time at the pool relaxing. We left the home at 3:30pm to visit family in Parker Dam and came back at 9:30pm. There was post it note on the door saying that we need to leave the home immediately. They made false accusations of us damaging chairs, damaging the pool (which we NEVER used due to the cool temperatures and no heat) and the air conditioning unit... in addition to the fact that we were over the allowed occupancy (which was approved by Beverly prior to us confirming reservation). Our family was to pack up a week’s worth of luggage, food, etc forced to leave. It was Spring Break week in Lake Havasu...it was nearly impossible to find a place to stay...in addition, prices were 2-3x the amount they would have been if we were to reserve a month ago. My husband tried to have a conversation with both Beverly and Brett in hopes of a resolution...or at least give us the night to repack our things and leave in the morning. Brett insisted we leave and noted that we were on private property and in turn called the police. He also mentioned that he has evicted many people from his property in the past. As you can imagine, we were shocked and extremely disappointed. Please take caution before booking this property.

Hi Amy, we followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following: - We weren't contacted and didn't give permission to exceed our maximum occupancy before you booked our property. After you already made the reservation and stated you may have a fourth guest, we let you know that the space is set up to accommodate only three people. - The property manager Brett is the only other individual who lives on the property and is readily available for guest assistance. He met you at check-in to welcome you and show you how to use certain amenities like the A/C, and he noted that one pool chair had been damaged by a previous guest. - We responded to your text about the A/C within three hours and sent the property manager over to assist with any troubleshooting. Because he couldn't fix it, he called maintenance to come over and resolve the issue. - This is the first time we've ever had to evict a guest, and we had to because your party was over maximum capacity and we noted several policy violations around the pool area. Though we reached out through email and spoke with you face-to-face, because you refused to leave the home and suggested we call the police, we did so only to assist in a safe resolution. We refunded the rest of your stay. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.

Hi Robert, thanks for your review. The listing photos and description clearly show all of the amenities at the property. We accurately describe it as having a kitchenette rather than a full kitchen, but we're sorry if this caught you off guard. We encourage guests to thoroughly read the listing before booking to ensure that they find the perfect vacation rental for their needs.
