Diese makellose Kabine mit zwei Schlafzimmern und zwei Bädern befindet sich auf 2,5 Hektar in der Wohnanlage Grandview Peaks. Es befindet sich am Ende einer Sackgasse und bietet Ihnen ein Höchstmaß an Privatsphäre und Ruhe.

Zu den Gemeinschaftseinrichtungen gehören ein wunderschöner See mit Strandbereich und Angelsteg sowie Wasserfälle und Wanderwege. Bringen Sie die Kinderfahrräder mit - als einziges Haus in der Sackgasse können sie ohne Verkehrsprobleme Fahrrad fahren. Der geräumige Hinterhof sehnt sich nach Kickball- und Rasenpfeilspielen! Abends können Sie an der Feuerstelle S'Mores machen. Die überdachte Veranda ist der beste Ort für eine Tasse Kaffee am frühen Morgen und die große Terrasse mit elektrischem Grill eignet sich hervorragend für Mahlzeiten im Freien (auf der Terrasse gibt es Platz für sechs Personen).

Nur 20 Minuten entfernt finden in Marion, NC, von April bis Dezember Messen und Festivals statt. Zum Lake James State Park oder zum Chimney Rock State Park in Lake Lure sind es nur 30 Minuten, zu den Linville Falls 45 Minuten und nach Biltmore in Asheville, Mount Mitchell oder Pisgah Forest nur eine Autostunde. Engere Aktivitäten sind die Catawba-Wasserfälle und der Thermalgürtel-Schienenweg (kürzlich abgeschlossener 13. 5 Wander- / Radweg). Beide sind innerhalb von 30 Minuten. Eine Vielzahl von Aktivitäten erwartet Ihre Familie in den Bergen!

Die Kabine verfügt über zwei Schlafzimmer und zwei Bäder. Das Hauptschlafzimmer verfügt über ein Queensize-Bett und ein eigenes Bad. Das Schlafzimmer im ersten Stock verfügt über zwei Einzelbetten. Das offene Loft im Obergeschoss verfügt über ein ausziehbares Doppelbett.

Für Familien, die mit einem Baby reisen, gibt es ein Pack-n-Play, ein Babytor und einen Hochstuhl.

Die Küche ist voll ausgestattet - Sie können an einem kalten Samstag Ihre Lieblingsgerichte für die Familie zubereiten, eine Geburtstagstorte backen oder einen Topf mit Eintopf zubereiten.

Quiet Getaway

Our family had a great stay, very clean and cozy cabin, the host was communicative and available through phone, the community was very nice and peaceful, we visited Asheville and Sugar Mountain both about an hour away from the cabin and would recommend this stay.

Wonderfully Peaceful

Quiet and peaceful, with everything we needed. Beautiful neighborhood- the lake was a great bonus! We swam and floated in the lake for hours, grilled, made s’mores and enjoyed board games on the porch. Exactly what our family of 2 adults/ 4 teens needed. Cabin is super clean, very organized and well stocked. Owner is easy to communicate and made our stay perfect. Will definitely be back!

Amazing

Quiet getaway

Very private and quite. You cannot see a neighbor. The house was fully stocked with all we needed. We really enjoyed sitting on the front porch and watching the deer. And also the large outdoor Connect Four and Checkers. Definitely a place we would love to stay at again on out next trip to the mountains. Absolutely peaceful

This truly is the place for peace and quiet with beautiful wooded surroundings. The cabin was spotless with a well stocked kitchen. The mountain community was lovely. This is a great location for day trips to some wonderful western North Carolina scenic attractions. We hiked to Linville Falls, visited Linville Caverns on one day, and went to South Mountain State Park and hiked up to High Shoal Falls the next day. After hiking High Shoal we headed a few miles up the road to Apple Hill Orchard and picked some apples and got apple cider and apple donuts. We’re very thrilled to have found such a remarkable place to stay. Just wish we could’ve stayed longer.

Lovely getaway

A beautiful place to escape for some peace and quiet! My husband and I needed a quick change of scenery and Marie's cabin was the perfect little getaway! It was absolutely spotless; very comfy beds, all you'd need in the kitchen, with a perfect porch and deck surrounded by woods. Great wifi and a smart tv to meet all of your viewing needs. We enjoyed one night of fabulous weather for autumn leaf peeping and stargazing. Next morning we enjoyed Tropical Storm Zeta!!! Marie is an ABSOLUTE GEM to work with. The MOST responsive, helpful, and gracious host I've ever communicated with. Come and stay, you'll love it!

Your home is beautiful. Everything was top notch. We were not there much, since we were at the conference. Which I invite everyone to attend at the Nebo Crossing Church next 9/28 & 9/29. We had the pleasure of having Jason Crabb and Guy Penrod from the Gaithers. We hope to come stay again, but may need a larger place. Unreal how you had some supplies in the cabin, like DUKE mayo. Just right for the egg swds. Please rent from this sweet owner. You will not be sorry. She is so kind...... ..

Fall Weekend Getaway

The house was so clean when we arrived and was even better than it appears in the pictures. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare easy vacation meals and snacks, and everything was in excellent condition. Our kids had a great time playing and roasting marshmallows in the backyard, running around the cul de sac, and enjoying picnics on the deck. The owner was incredibly responsive to our questions and had lots of good ideas for family activities in the area. It is a good 25-30 minutes from most attractions, but for us, that was part of the charm of this particular location. The neighborhood is good for morning and evening walks, and the private yard was a great feature for us. We spent lots of time enjoying the deck and the front porch rocking chairs, even on a rainy afternoon. We had an outing each day for hiking and sourcing local treats (apples, apple butter, doughnuts). There are a variety of fun low-key opportunities within a 30-45 minute radius in any direction.

2nd time is a charm - yet again!

My wife, daughter and I stayed at Marie's place during the summer of 2021 and thoroughly enjoyed (prior review posted). My wife & I were looking to visit the mountains of NC and see the fall colors and luckily Marie's place was available yet again. We love everything about this house and the neighborhood of Grandview Peaks. The house is spotless inside and the kitchen is fully stocked with all of your basics. We spent one day heading near Hendersonville/Ashville and the other day heading up to Boone. Marie is an awesome host and always responsive. I remember her daily rate for this home being very reasonable back in 2021 and it was again this time - which I greatly appreciate. It is definitely a great value for the money and I would recommend Marie's home to anyone looking to get away to the mountains of NC, to stay in a beautiful and to stay in a great community. Thanks Marie...we might just be back a 3rd time in the future OR purchase a property in GVP ourselves someday!

Dave and I live in Decatur, Texas, but have always enjoyed the NC mountains. I was a camper in Hendersonville for our summers and attended Warren Wilson College in Swannanoa (just up the mountain from Marion). Dave took many youth trips from St. Petersburg, Florida, to Montreat.

We most like Grandview Peak's quiet surroundings - it is tranquil. Our cabin is on a cul-de-sac with no close neighbors...we like just relaxing on the porch or deck in the evenings and listening to nature.

We have no close neighbors, yet we live on a paved road and are not far from town.

Our cabin is kept immaculately clean by our housekeeper, Tonia and her two teen-age sons. They treat my place as their own - they have done since 2019!
