Dieses gerĂ€umige Haus befindet sich auf unserer 50 Hektar großen Farm in Rutherfordton, NC. Hier leben unsere 25 Angoraziegen und 2 ViehhĂŒterhunde, unsere 2 Pferde und ein paar Stallkatzen und 3 Haushunde. Im Laufe des Monats MĂ€rz wurden 6 Angoraziegenbabys geboren. Nichts niedlicher als ein Angora-Ziegenbaby, und ich mache mir immer Zeit, um mit den GĂ€sten die Tiere zu besuchen. Tierfreundlich mit großem, sicher umzĂ€untem Hof nur fĂŒr gut erzogene Hunde. Welpen mĂŒssen bitte kartoniert werden. Nahe dem Tryon International Equestrian Center (weniger als 30 Minuten) und weniger als 30 Minuten nach Lake Lure und Chimney Rock und eine Stunde nach Asheville, Greenville, SC, Charlotte und unzĂ€hligen Landschaften in jede Richtung.

Das Haus wurde im Jahr 2014 erbaut und ist sehr gerĂ€umig und gut ausgestattet. Schöne Veranda, um unsere farbenfrohen SonnenuntergĂ€nge und einen schönen Wanderweg durch die WĂ€lder rund um unser Anwesen zu genießen. Besuchen Sie unsere Angora-Ziegen und kaufen Sie in unserem Gifshop im Landhaus-Stil ein. Die EigentĂŒmer wohnen im Barnhouse etwa 150 m von der Pension entfernt.

Eine gute Nachtruhe ist ein Muss, also haben beide Queen-Size-Betten Tempur Pedic-Matratzen!
Hochwertige Queen-Luftmatratze passt am besten in das Schlafzimmer im Obergeschoss, kann aber auch im Wohnzimmer verwendet werden. Matratze unten im Schlafzimmerschrank ausklappen.

Farmlife Fantasy come true

To say that we were delighted with out stay is an understatement. Debbi is the most wonderful host and the sweetest person. She took so much time to show us around and introduce us to the lovely animals. Our kids still talk about Spirit and the Mini horses all the time. And dont even get me started on the house! It does not get any more beautiful. Everything is very high end and perfectly clean. The General Store is dreamy!!! Try the carrot cake ice cream and enjoy the Gem Mine. Thank you so much for your generosity and hospitality. If we did not live halfway across the globe, you would see us all the time 3 we truly hope to be back!

We enjoyed our stay at the farm. The house and property are beautiful. The host met us upon arrival and was available if there were any questions. Furnishings in the house were comfortable and the house was clean (which is very important to us). We enjoyed our visit to the General Store which is located on the property and seeing the animals on the farm.

We had such at great time at the farmhouse! Our hosts were very gracious with their time. Mrs. Debbi showed our three little girls around the farm, letting them walk the miniature horses, groom the horses, feed a pumpkin to the pigs, and so much more. She even let a couple of her dogs play with our dog in the large fenced yard. All the animals on the farm were super sweet and gentle with the girls. The house has everything you need and is absolutely beautiful inside. Our girls also loved exploring the little country store on the property. It is also very conveniently located for those visiting The Biltmore or Forest City for the Christmas lights. We cannot say enough of good things about our visit to the farm!

Oct.19th-24th2025Our Cherry Mtn Farm visit was an Exciting and Memorable week, spent with the farm owner and Host, ’Debbi’, all 5ft-4in’s. of her, so delightful and personable. My wife and I decided to take our Soft Coated Wheaten terrier, named ‘Wheaten’, on a week’s vacation. We drove from Orlando, FL to Rutherfordton, NC, to the farm just so he could have out-door adventures and inter-act with a couple of the farm’s house dogs, a basset hound named Ellie-Mie, and a terrier named Eli, in a large fenced in 1-1/2ac. grassed area surrounding our two (2) story, Gorgeous Timber Home, with the perfect huge front porch with rocking chairs. What a delight to sit there and watch the dogs play.Tireless Debbi, took us around the 50ac. farm to meet the farm animals, first, were two (2) 250 -300lb pigs named Frick and Frick. A herd of sheep, goats, and horses, watched over by the herd’s big guard dogs, Cleo and Tank.A large General store built by Debbi and her husband Craig, housed every-thing imaginable, even Ice cream.What a great, relaxing and enjoyable week for Wheaten and my wife and myself. We, recommend, a visit to the Cherry Mountain Farm, with your kids, you will want to go back again, as we do.William, Karen & Wheaten

Actually my sister and friend stayed at the farm and they really enjoyed it. My husband and I visited them every day and they always had a new story to tell ! This is my 4th visit to Debbie and Craig’s beautiful farm. The house is beautiful and you have everything you might need . Comfy beds,Beautiful bathrooms and fully stocked kitchen. The front porch is perfect for reading or just watching all the animals in their pastures. Frick and Frack, the pigs were our favorites! So adorable and friendly. The gift shop on the property is wonderful-lots of unique things you don’t find everywhere. We did some early Christmas shopping Debbie is a fantastic host, so friendly and knowledgeable about all her animals. The animals all have names, and she knows each one. She treated us like family and took the time to introduce us to all the animals

The timber house is beautiful! Our favorite thing to do each morning and evening was to sit on the porch and watch the animals. The host, Debbi, was so kind. Best vacation ever!

This was our family’s favorite vacation and definitely will return. We loved the house, property, animals, and being able to bring our dog was absolutely wonderful for us. Debbi is a one of a kind host The house is beautiful and so well-stocked (kitchen utensils and spices, books, games, puzzles, and more) . I had everything I needed for making family meals and even picked fresh blueberries from the bushes for our pancakes! The surrounding towns offer a lot of great activities (biking trails, hiking, zip lining, swimming) but the best part was the time spent on the property walking the trail, hanging out with the animals, relaxing on the porch and visiting with Debbi. It truly felt like we went to stay at a friend’s for a visit. This was our perfect family vacation and cannot wait to go back.

I am originally from Queens New York , lived in
St. Louis MO and Rochester NY before working in South Florida for 30 years before retiring and building our dream farm in Western North Carolina. I worked as a Pediatric ICU Nurse then transitioned to medical sales . My husband grew up in W. Palm Beach and retired as a Captain with the Town of Palm Beach Fire Dept in 2012. His family roots were from Burlington/Greensboro/Mebane area of NC but we wanted to be closer to the mountains so we settled in the Foothills . Craig's creativity can be seen all over the farm and it really makes this place unique. I do the farm tours and manage all the animal care and love to talk with our visitors. No matter where our visitors come from we find we always have something in common. We love living in the area and sharing our little slice of heaven with visitors.

This is such a great area and is close to so many fun things to do. We are less than 30 minutes from Tryon International Equestrian Center, waterfalls, hiking, lots of cool towns close by, etc. Our timber frame guest house offers a very warm and inviting space for you to enjoy our beautiful farm or as your resting place after touring the area. We bought the property in 2007 and the only thing on it was an 8 acre hayfield so everything you see , we have done.
It's a great place for kids since they have lots of room and we are pet friendly so our yard is perfect for dog (s) ...only 2 please and please remember to pay the very reasonable dog fee. Many of our guests feel no need to leave the farm other than for basic needs. We're fortunate to have great internet and a fun store and friendly animals. You will have a beautiful fire pit and a nice grilled hooked up to an underground tank so we don't have to worry about you running out of gas in the middle of grilling! Easy access in and no scary roads to navigate at night.
There are 4 grocery store ( Food Lion, Aldi's, Walmart ( they deliver) and Ingles) 10-15 minutes away and 2 neighborhood stores for basics, pizza , ice cream, soda, etc within 5 minutes. Gas station within 5
minutes from farm. Easy drive to Tryon, Columbus, Morganton, Forest City and Spindale.

The sounds and sights of our farm will make you want to come back again! Our animals enjoy visitors, and so do we! If you want to be left alone, we know how to do that! This is a working farm and you have freedom to walk around and visit the animals. There is a mile and 1/3 trail through the woods for your morning or evening walks and plenty of other areas to explore. We have a Gem Mine for the kids ( and adults) and a grain bin gazebo with swings where you can sit in the evening and listen to the sounds of the farm. We are really proud of our great reviews and will always make sure you will not be disappointed with your stay at Cherry Mountain Farm! Please remember if you bring your dog there is a very reasonable dog fee for up to 2 dogs so please check this off when making reservations so it gets added.
