Ein verstecktes Juwel am Ufer des Flusses mit einer wunderschönen Aussicht. Hat einen eigenen Steg mit direktem Zugang zum Fluss zum Kajakfahren und Schwimmen. In einer ruhigen Sackgasse, nur wenige Gehminuten von Clubs und der Stadt entfernt. Große Terrasse ideal für Unterhaltung ODER vielleicht nur ein ruhiges Spa mit Blick auf den Fluss, um den Vögeln zu lauschen.

Maximal 10 Personen erlaubt.

Das Haupthaus beinhaltet: 3 komfortable Queensize-Betten, Samsung Smart TV, Holzfeuer, Heizlüfter, 1 Kühl- / Gefrierschrank, Mikrowelle, Geschirrspüler, Nespresso-Kaffeemaschine, Waschmaschine, Gasgrill, Gartenmöbel, Außendusche, Whirlpool. , Uneingeschränktes drahtloses Breitband-Internet.

SCHLAFZIMMER ENTHÄLT: 1 x französisches Bett, 1 x kombinierte Schlaf- / Einzelkoje, 1 x Kojenset, Kochnische, 1 x Kühlschrank, Fernseher, Badezimmer mit Zugang von außen, überdachter Ruhebereich mit Tischtennisplatte.

This is our third time staying at this delightful house and we always love our time here. The host Lynley is wonderful, communication is easy and any little issues are dealt with promptly and without fuss. It’s the most magical of settings, an awesome setup for inter generational family groups or friends and so great to be able to have our small dog join us.

Great location, perfect for a weekend away with friends and family, spa and outlook from deck was amazing, close to the city only walking distance, the perfect kiwi bach with everything you need! Hosts were great with communication and check / check out was a breeze.

Fantastic stay in a special hideaway

This is one of the best places we have stayed in Whangamata. Close to the heart of town, but feels very secluded and private once you arrive. Everything set up perfectly for a larger group. Addition of kayaks and spa pool are fantastic to keep everyone busy along with games and table tennis. We had terrible weather but still had an amazing time. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great stay

Perfect Family Getaway

Absolutely loved our stay, our second time here! Its the most beautiful setting with plenty of space for all 3 generations of the family to spend time together and great to be able to bring our dog. Lynley the host is a pleasure to deal with and nothing is ever too much trouble. We’ll be back!

Absolutely fabulous

Great location, amazingly well appointed property. Looking out over the estuary from the deck you felt like you were in the middle of nowhere, not 10 min walk to the centre of town! The spa and kayaks were the icing on the cake. Definitely recommended.

Wonderful wilderness and amazing outdoor living

A helpful and friendly host. A clean, well appointed and enjoyable house with an amazing deck ...and, what a view!! A paradise playground for kids - the wetlands and river! All day sun, privacy and hot tub. We'll be back!!

Back for more....

Love coming back to this little slice of paradise. The view is stunning and the property is well equipped with a great interior style. House with sleepout set up ideal for two families or those holidaying with teens. Private jetty for canoe access kept the kids entertained for hours. Great location. We love it!

Relaxing End to a Beachful Day

I don't really want to say too much, else someone else might book it when we want it. Awesome location, not far from town and beach. Great facilities and heaps of extras provided and heaps not used; bikes, table tennis, kayaks....and the list goes on. Very comfortable for the number staying and a the sleep out was great for the older boys to have their own space. Would definitely stay again.

Fabulous little spot

We really enjoyed our week long stay at the property. It was really well setup for our group with a large sleep out that could fit the teenagers and friends and a spacious main house that didn’t feel cramped at all when it came to dining time with everyone in the same space. The highlight of the property is the outside deck area which has a beautiful tree shading a large outdoor dining space, gorgeous view over the river and spa pool for the evenings. It’s a comfortable walk to town and the beach is also walkable although we tended to drive there as we didn’t want to carry gear. Overall a great spot and was perfect for the three generations of our family to stay.

Place to relax

Overall impression really great outlook very relaxing place to stay and wind down. Rooms were a bit old musty smell and not aired out when we got there but all good second night. Comfortable beds plenty of space. Spa was clean and great to hop into after the day out. BBQ was not clean but after cleaning it all good. Need to reposition the clothesline as was tricky parking the cars but still plenty of parking for the cars. Would stay there again.

Thanks Alan, so glad you enjoyed your stay. Sorry you thought the rooms smelt musty. We haven't had that comment before so have asked our cleaner to do a double check(including the BBQ) before guests arrive. We love our old school washing line but as you mentioned there is plenty of parking (x3 cars + 2 cars on driveway) without having to park on the grass. Come again any time. Thanks

Relax & unwind

A great property away from the hustle of Whangamata, but close enough to the action (town/beach both being within walking distance) when it suits. Loved the setting by the river/outlook for evening meals. Great for family reunions. Having the two separate lodgings works well. Spa pool, kayaks & bikes were all made use of. If you’re looking for a Kiwi Bach experience, or a rustic retreat, this is a great set up. Being able to take our geriatric dog with us was a real blessing too!

Perfect break for the family

Thanks for sharing your bach with us! Great view over the river (estuary) to the bush and access to the river for paddle boarding and kayaking. Common space is open and communal. Though we didn’t use the table tennis table, spa or kayaks on site they’re great to have available. Was a real treat to be able to have our dog with us with the reassurance of secure fencing. Communication was accurate, friendly and response quick. Thanks again!

Gorgeous and Tranquil

This is an awesome property. It deceptive from the front , just nestled in a suburban cul-de-sac but around the back is a gorgeous vista stretching across the river and into the hills. There is everything you’ll need here , styled so beautifully. It was great for our group with 8 teenagers! The sleep out is a fabulous setup complete with table tennis kit. So close to town they could bike , skateboard or walk. The spa pool was the clincher though. Just right for the rainy days we’ve been having this summer and to warm up after a dip in the ocean Thank you so much to our hosts for sharing their little piece of heaven.

Welcome to our family bach. Before buying our bach at Hampton Rd our family had been holidaying in Whangamata for 15+ years. We have three children and a very boisterous dog. There is so much to do here you will never get bored. Secret beaches, swimming holes, mountain biking, golf, awesome shopping and cafes - even a movie theatre!

We love the outdoors so this little spot right next to the river with a peaceful, beautiful setting is perfect. Kayaking or paddle boarding is so easy directly off the jetty. We enjoy a day at the busy main beach and then look forward tocoming home for a quick outdoor shower and a soak in the spa to relax. If you love birds then you will enjoy sitting on the jetty watching them all. If you would like a place to entertain your friends then our 70m2 deck with outdoor furnitue and bean bags will be perfect for you. Just no loud parties please because we like our neighbours :)
