We had an amazing stay at this property. It was clean, well equipped and quiet. There were a lot of extras like sand toys, chairs, floaties and boogie boards in shed. The location is perfect right across street from beach access to the bay where most days it felt like we had a private beach. We plan to return next year.

1st time on the bay

My sisters, my niece & myself thoroughly enjoyed our stay at "no worries". The unit is very spacious, clean and very well stocked with everything you will need or want. Our host was readily available to answer any questions we had. The neighborhood is quiet and the beach is practically private which we love. The bay may be our new go-to vacay spot!

Really Awesome place, has Everything you need.

Short walk to the beach, can walk to local restaurants. Great biking area. Duplex is outstanding with new kitchen, outdoor shower, beach chairs, and the super king size bed is amazing after a day at the beach. We loved it and hope to return soon.

Excellent Place/Location

This place was perfect for myself and my husband and our daughter, with her 2 young children! Very clean and comfortable apartment, quiet location, and outside shower!! This place has great to access the beach on the bay, just as stated in the description!! We all walked to “Froggies” for dinner on Saturday evening. The owner was very easy to communicate with and promptly answered my questions. Only regret is we didn’t have a week to spend here!!

This is a great 2 bdrm condo situated very close to the beach. In fact, pedestrian access to the beach is right across the street. The condo was very clean and comfortable. We couldn't figure out how to get the master bedroom TV to work but I attributed that to operator error and it wasn't important enough to us to contact the owner about it. When I got home I discovered that I had left behind a charging cord to a hearing aid charger. I contacted the owner about it and he was able to locate it and mail it back to me for no charge. Very, very nice of him. We would definitely stay here again.

Hidden Gem

This place is clean, spacious, and fabulous. Totally a fun beach vibe family friendly home. It has everything you need; washer and dryer, two bathrooms, and a full clean kitchen. Clean sheets and towels were left if needed. We brought our own so we didn't need them. Nice touch!! The beach is in walking distance, right across the street. The beach is very private so not many people. Love that!! They have sheds in the back that have beach chairs and floaties and other beach things. The neighborhood is super quiet. We had one small issue which Mark the host was quick to resolve. He came out to the house and he was a stand up class act. We definitely would come back here again. Loved every minute of it. Thanks Mark for your warm hospitality!!

Easy Breezy!

Brief Overview: Overall stay was wonderful! The bright cozy home was perfect for our last minute beach trip for a family of 4. We absolutely LOVED that access to the beach was just across the street. Details: We appreciated the information sent prior to our stay, they covered everything we’d need in the pre-arrival message. Check-in was seamless. The home was clean and ready for us. Master bed and 2nd room are right next to each other w/ a full bath in the hall. Clean linens were on the dressers and beds, but we chose to bring our own. We also appreciated the backyard shower for easy rinsing after a day at the beach. They even have a shed with a few beach toys, chairs, floaties and umbrella. We will definitely book here again. The home lives up to its name, “No Worries - Be Happy Condo”. It was a completely hassle-free and relaxing weekend. Thank you!

Great Stay! Close access to the beach! Will stay here again!

The photos of this rental don’t do it justice. Nice, upkept unit. Owners were great and we had one minor issue and they took care of it right thanks s and went above an beyond! We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it! The beach walking path is literally across the street and very low key compare to the OceanView area of Virginia Beach. So glad we found this rental vs in OceanView. Chick’s Beach is definitely a hidden treasure as is this renamtal unit. Highly recommend it! We were within 20mns to base so our son could stay with us and commute back and forth while we stayed. Had access to beach items if we needed them. Outdoor shower was great to shower off before entering the home. One prior comment that almost shyed us away was AC trouble. Two things after we stayed here we would like to note to that. First landlords can’t fix something they know nothing about and Second closing the vents in the lower level helps push the air up and keeping the bedroom doors open so the air circulates upstairs to the rooms is all helpful and we were comfortable the entire time! Thanks again Mark and Doug! Will definitely look you back up when we are back to see our son again.

Sweet little place on the beach

This little place was perfect for us for the weekend! These two school teachers LOVED it! The beach is right across the street. The neighbors are friendly and quiet. We literally sat on the beach for 3 days....it was perfect! Thanks you so much for your hospitality! We will be back! 😀

March getaway

We love the Chick's Beach location of this property. Right across the street from public beach access! Close to restaurants, shopping, the Brock Environmental Center and close to First Landing State Park and the Oceanfront. The property was exactly as described and we quickly felt at home there for our week away.

Great spot for a family of 4

Stayed at the property for a week. No complaints. The location was perfect. Chic's Beach is a great place to stay. The beach is not crowded and the water is great. The entrance to the beach is across the street from the house. I definitely recommend staying here especially if you want to be away from the touristy areas, which are only 15 minutes away.

+The property was just as described. Cute neighborhood right by beach access. Outdoor shower was a plus and it was nice to have chairs provided. - Late in providing check in information that we really needed before we left home! Perfect little beach bungalow

This is everything it said it would be. Perfect descriptions of the space. Perfect for a family of 5 (or 6). We didn't use the pull out couch bed but the upstairs beds were comfortable. I wouldn't put an adult in the top bunk because it's only held by thin wooden slats and creaks alot with just 80 lbs. on it. The shower is AMAZING!! It has a big round shower head with EXCELLENT water pressure. Perfect to wash all the sand off!! There are ample dishes, pots and pans, and utensils to use. The table is a good size for 6 people to eat at or play games as a family. This place was very clean!! It was super awesome that they provide beach chairs, a beach umbrella, and a stray sand bucket for renters to use. The outdoor shower comes in handy to avoid taking a ton of sand inside. The owner was very attentive and quick to respond to any inquiries. The beach access is great - it's literally a 2-3 minute walk (the beachfront houses are 30 seconds closer than this one). We love this because we ALWAYS forget things we need so it wasn't an issue to walk back and grab things or go to the bathroom. Lots of awesome restaurants and activities close by. I highly recommend this wonderful treasure to anyone!! My only suggestion would be to update some of the appliances but the ones that are there are still functional. Everything else is great!!
