8 blocks north is First Landing State Park. Great for hiking and biking. Also, calm water for smaller children to play and you can watch numerous boats go by all day long.

Virginia Beach is the best! Come enjoy all we have to offer. Beautiful beaches and sunrises, paddle boarding, fishing, surfing, jet skiing, water park, parasailing, golfing, putt putt golf, museums, aquarium, King Neptune and more.
Ocean Breeze water park is local and lots of fun. There is also an outdoor adventure park and a surf park that just opened!
In Williamsburg, about an hour drive, is Busch Gardens theme park as well as Water Country USA - another water park. Outlet Malls are 30 minutes away in Norfolk, close to the airport that you would fly into. (ORF)

Renting bikes are fun so you can ride on the boardwalk and see the sights. At the South End there is a Marina, and you can see the boats come in and go out into the ocean. You can also stop along the way and grab a quick bite for breakfast, lunch or dinner at one of the many restaurants you will be passing by.

For those that just want peace and quiet, just walk the miles of beach each day and enjoy the beauty. Many days you can see dolphins swimming by. Sometimes there are beautiful shells to pick up.

This unit is located at the north end meaning it is away from the crowds of the tourists from of all the hotels, however only a quick Uber ride, drive or a long walk leads you to the social scene and excitement of everything the boardwalk has to offer.
