We are very lucky to have such a fabulous location close to beautiful beaches, shops, restaurants and coastal walks. As we advise all our guests before they arrive, telephone reception in Port Macquarie can be very inconsistent. Unfortunately phone reception and using mobile data is particularly bad during holiday periods when the influx of visitors to the region causes "Network Congestion". Mobile phone reception and the strength and quality of your phones WiFi signal can vary greatly depending on which carrier you are with (Optus/Telstra/Vodafone). This is an issue with the carriers and phone reception in Port Macquarie in general and is something that is out of our control at Escape at Nobbys. We do charge for WiFi for those guests who choose to purchase. Our rates are extremely reasonable (less than $2/day for up to 6 devices). This provides guests with their own secure logon details and gives us some control over the amount of users. Providing free WiFi often means the WiFi is being used by many users and the signal strength is not good. We hope to welcome you back to beautiful Port Macquarie and Escape at Nobbys soon. Hi Mark, Thank you so much for your review of our Escape at Nobbys Beach House 2. We had no record of your request for Beach House 1 and this property had aleady been booked for your stay dates when you booked. The booking confirmation letter you received from our Property Managers the day after you booked confirmed you were staying in Beach House 2 - we did not change the booking. There is no hot tub in Beach House 1 or Beach House 2 or any of our properties and this is not listed anywhere as an inclusion so I apologise if you were misled into thinking there was a hot tub. Both Beach Houses are pretty much identical in terms of layout and inclusions. Being across the road from Nobbys Beach there is some traffic noise unfortunately but that is the price you pay for our fabulous location. We are thrilled to hear you found the property clean and tidy on arrival and that the kitchen provided everything you needed. Wonderful to get such great feedback about our Property Managers at Elders Real Estate who provided great support during your stay. Port Macquarie really is a beauitful place and it is great to hear you got to enjoy the stunning coastal walk to the historic lighthouse. Salty Cafe is definately one of our favourite cafes too. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and we hope to welcome you back soon to beautiful Port Macquarie and Escape at Nobbys.

Hi Anthony, Thank you so much for the 4 star review of our Escape at Nobbys Beach House. I apologise that the TV located in the downstairs family room was not working. Our Property Manager did report this to me and we have now replaced it, however I was only advised the day before you were leaving so I apologise we were unable to rectify the issue during your stay. Thank you however for reporting this to us as we were not aware it was not working despite the fact that we have had a steady stream of guests over the Easter/School holiday period. There are instructions for the oven provided however I do agree that if your not used to this particular Smeg oven it may be a little tricky as all three knobs must be turned for the oven to work . I have now provided an information sheet highlighting this fact as well as a label above the oven advising guests that all 3 knobs must be turned for oven to work. Once again we value this feedback. Hi Ahmad. Thank you for your review of our Escape at Nobbys Beach House. We are pleased to hear you loved our beachside location. I am not sure exactly what you mean by poor service. Our TV is a new model Smart TV. Regional TV channel numbers are very different to those in major cities and sometimes the reception is better received on a differnt station number depending on where the signal comes from. We do provide fast, secure WiFi for less than $2.00 a day. Telephone reception in Port Macquarie can be inconsistent and reception quality depends which carrier you are with (Telstra, Vodafone or Optus). This is an issue with phone reception in Port Macquarie in general and is something that is out of our control. The toilet paper provided is Kleenex 3in1 CleanRipple so I am not sure what you mean when you say it was "not good". We provide an “initial supply” with spare rolls provided. Hi Vanessa, We did provide two port-a-cots for you as a last minute request. Our cleaners checked both the cots when they were delivered the day before you arrived. As soon as you reported one was broken it was replaced. We apologise if there were only two towels provided. There most certainly be 6 towels provided for guests. Once again as soon as we were advised of this we had our cleaners deliver more towels to the property along with extra sheets for the port-a-cots. I am sorry to hear you felt our Property Manager was rude and that I the owner was dismissive. I did respond to every one of your messages and requests before and after hours in a very timely manner and we tried our best to provide answers and swift responses.
